02/06/2026: A fantastic restaurant with friendly service and delicious, fresh food. The fish and mussels were particularly outstanding, and the value for money was excellent. The Aperol Spritz was also very refreshing. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a pleasant dining experience away from the crowded old town.

20/05/2026: Pizzas here are tasty. Quick and friendly service. We stayed 2 weeks in Castelsardo and ate the best pizzas here. Waiter was really nice and helpful. North of money for sure.

I don't expect to be served immediately, but I also don't expect to be ignored and watch the waiters, after a quarter of an hour, take orders from the tables next to mine that have just been occupied, while I stand there like an idiot. I got up and left.

08/06/2026: What more can be said when absolutely EVERYTHING is perfect! The tagliata was delicious, cooked to perfection, no stringy bits, the patate al forno was superb, and the salad was fresh and plentiful! Good table wine, very good seadas!!!

02/06/2026: A beautiful day ended in this place. We had dinner on the terrace with a breathtaking view and sunset. The staff were very kind and fast. The place was very welcoming and the food was truly excellent, and the prices were great. I hope to return very soon. Thank you so much ❤️

07/07/2026: Restaurant with a lovely terrace. The waitresses were very friendly. We ordered lasagna and gnocchi, both delicious, but the lasagna portion could have been a bit larger. However, it was fine for the price.

07/07/2026: Almost all of their dishes are or can be gluten-free. One of the best pizzas I've ever had. Highly recommended for celiacs!!

04/07/2026: Fresh fish but little variety... we only had appetizers, but they were all decent/good. Too much lemon on the swordfish... not enough cheese on the cheese and cured meats platter (three cured meats, one cheese). We couldn't get to the desserts, so we had to run. The prices were fair.

28/06/2026: Unfortunately, I have to give the restaurant's service a negative review because my friends and I were treated terribly. We waited over half an hour for them to take our orders (even though we were very punctual). Despite our constant reminders, they continued to take orders from everyone who came after us. When we were about to leave, we were getting impatient, but the waitress approached us and told us that we would have to wait at least another hour for our pizzas. At that point, we left quite annoyed. A 0 for the service.

05/12/2025: Excellent pizza. Owners Giovanni and Francesca go out of their way to give you a culinary experience, not just your average pizza. This is a very quaint place, with fast and punctual service. The staff, like the rest, is excellent! Highly recommended!

07/06/2026: Top-notch bar/pub! The beers are inexpensive. They offer little snacks so you don't have to drink on an empty stomach. The bartenders are friendly and genuinely want you to feel welcome. It's the kind of relaxed and laid-back atmosphere that makes for a great time.

05/05/2026: The food was good, but the restaurant was very, very noisy. Four children were acting like they were at a playground, and their parents were completely oblivious. It was awful.

18/07/2026: We had an excellent experience at II Portico Ristorante Pizzeria. We booked online, which was especially convenient as only a few of the restaurants we looked at in Sardinia offered online reservations. The communication was also excellent: our reservation was confirmed through WhatsApp, and then confirmed again on the day of our booking at 5 pm. We really appreciated that level of clarity and communication. The food was excellent, and all four of us were very happy with our meals, including our two children. The staff were friendly, welcoming and attentive, making sure that our orders were taken accurately. Everyone we interacted with also spoke English, which made the experience very easy and comfortable for non Italian speakers. The food, service and location were all excellent. We would happily return and would absolutely recommend II Portico Ristorante Pizzeria to others visiting the area.

11/07/2026: It's been a while since I've been crazy about a bowl of mussels and clams. The taste and ingredients were exceptional, and then I continued with a perfect fried calamari... My compliments for everything: service, location, and chef. Highly recommended.
