15/07/2025: Excellent quality food, whether picked up at the restaurant or delivered. The owners, Andrea and Elisabetta, are wonderful people, incredibly friendly and very welcoming. I absolutely recommend the restaurant, as I've ordered many of their products and have always loved them, especially the fainè. If they made them in Veneto, near where I live, I'd be a regular, just like I am now, living temporarily in Sassari. Personally, they're the best in town. Well done, keep up the good work!

10/06/2025: Abbiamo cenato ieri in questo ristorante in occasione del mio compleanno, posto tranquillo con tavoli su un prato curatissimo. Cibo semplicemente sublime, dagli antipasti di mare, buonissimi, alla fregola con pesce davvero squisita. Un posto che merita un'altra esperienza (già prenotata per il mio onomastico il 13 p.v.)- Personale gentile, cortese e sorridente e molto attento. Prezzi per una cena a base di pesce assolutamente in linea.

27/05/2025: Bella struttura immersa nel verde, giardino ampio e molto curato. Accoglienza molto cordiale da parte dell' esuberante e simpaticissimo Giuseppe. Abbiamo scelto la fregola ai frutti di mare preceduta, come da suggerimento di Giuseppe, da un piccolo antipasto, cozze gratinate, che abbiamo condiviso. La fregola è di fatto un piatto unico, molto abbondante e molto ricco di pesce, astice compreso. Come dessert una seadas con miele e un semifreddo. Vermentino della casa molto buono, mirto e limoncello ci sono stati offerti. Esperienza molto positiva, prezzo corretto. Torneremo per un menù di terra! Un sentito grazie a Giuseppe e complimenti al cuoco! .

31/10/2025: They didn't even let me sit down. It was late in the evening, and they could have agreed to let me sit at a large table even though I was alone. I also asked for a stool at the bar, but nothing. There was seating, but no welcome. I'll never know if the food is good. Because I'll never go there. One star for service and hospitality is zero. Since you decided to respond by saying you just need to book, I'd point out that I was a passing customer, so I didn't book (my usual practice), but if you want to help, you can. And given what I saw, I would certainly have eaten well and given you good publicity. Alas, you've given space to your rigidity rather than your flexible welcome.

24/10/2025: The point is not what you pay, but what you eat... and if to eat 300g of absolutely standard meat (a bavetta) and a buffalo mozzarella for 80 euros with a glass of wine it seems absolutely out of context to me.

04/11/2025: This was my first time here, and I can say it's a standard trattoria with average food and service that could be improved. The daily menu, including a first course and second course with a side dish and a bottle of still water, costs €15.

23/10/2025: I waited a bit for it to cool down before leaving this review, but my thoughts remain the same. The only thing I'd save about the place is a young waiter, whose manner was so kind that it completely contrasted with everything else. We were invited to this pizzeria by loyal customers who were confident they'd make a good impression. It was one of those occasions where two families meet and, because they want everything to go well, they choose the place they think is most reliable. It was a total disaster. The order was taken after at least half an hour and after a table that had filled up shortly after ours, and so far, never mind, it can happen... but waiting 1 hour and 45 minutes for 13 pizzas seems excessive to me, especially if you booked well in advance. All this without even apologizing, except at the end, after being rude and having snapped quite abruptly. I also understand that there may be problems in the kitchen, but we kept seeing takeout pizzas leaving the restaurant, and they even went so far as to serve the tables of people who had arrived after us (whose orders may have been taken first, but they still arrived after us). In short, at a certain point, we all felt cheated (almost two hours had passed, they'd served the table behind ours, and sent out I don't know how many takeout pizzas), so we tried to leave, only for the lady at the cash register to start ranting, claiming that the 13 pizzas were in the oven and that our behavior was essentially unfair. Note: during these almost two hours, we repeatedly asked where these pizzas had ended up, but anyone who asked was sent back to their table without much explanation. They just brought drinks and chips to nibble on during the interminable wait. I pointed out to the waiter that the table that had been served before us had filled up after ours, and he told me it wasn't true, as the order had been taken first. More than what he said, what struck me was the manner. The lady really snapped, and the waiter displayed absurd arrogance. I didn't respond only because I didn't want the situation to escalate further. Anyway, almost all of us returned to our tables, with very little appetite due to all the nerves we'd been feeling, and finally the pizzas arrived. Some were perfectly good, others had pieces of dough still raw, despite the lady's statement that they'd been in the oven a good few minutes earlier. This ordeal ended, and the rude waiter apologized to one of the people who organized the dinner and offered a few euros off. Well, I don't know what happened that day, and I always try to be understanding because working in the restaurant business isn't easy, but it's a fact: you treated us really badly. I will never return to this pizzeria again, and if you have to invite someone over and want to make a good impression, I strongly advise against it.

14/10/2025: We both had pizza. Baked in a wood-fired oven, and you can watch the whole process. Very, very delicious. And seadas for dessert, excellent.

03/09/2025: Restaurant in a neighborhood that would once have been very lively, there are beautiful houses! I hope that with this pizzeria the atmosphere will return, it deserves it. We ate some very good pizzas, delicious, if you are in Sasser or the surrounding area don't miss it! The staff and the hostess, very friendly, attentive and caring!!🫶💖🫶💖

19/07/2025: I wish I could say it was a great experience the first time I ordered from them, but unfortunately I can't. The lactose-free pizza was made with buffalo mozzarella, and that's fair enough, because mistakes happen to everyone, especially on Saturdays when they're busier! The real problem is that they charged us an additional €2 for each pizza (pizzas that didn't have any added ingredients), for a total of €31.50 including delivery. When I called and reported it, they remade the pizza, and when the pizza delivery guy (a great guy) showed up with the pizza, he told me that the one I already had with buffalo mozzarella was actually lactose-free. So why did you remake it? I don't understand! The icing on the cake was having to return the wrong pizza, which another family member could have eaten the next day. I don't see that as fair, since the mistake was theirs. NEVER AGAIN! Have a good evening.

28/09/2025: The venue is surrounded by greenery, with a well-maintained garden, a swimming pool, and a view of the Platamona Pond. The spaces are versatile: an outdoor veranda, marquees, and an air-conditioned indoor room that can accommodate up to 400 people. It's an elegant and evocative venue, ideal for important ceremonies and special occasions, thanks to its refined setting and spacious layout. The service and food quality are both excellent.

27/07/2025: After much wandering to try to combine sea and food without discriminating against anything and given that the delis close at 2/2.30 pm and wanting to be at the seaside at 4/4.30 pm I was forced to sacrifice one or the other instead I found this splendid place where you spend the right amount, the food is delicious and the owner always welcomes you with a smile on his lips, very pleasant person I recommend it to EVERYONE Very satisfied!

The smell of the lasagna, the chicken and the goodness of each dish seems like homemade, not to mention the variety of flavors of tramezzini, sandwiches and savory croissants! Here you will find much more than a simple deli ♥️

29/10/2025: We were there in September and it was truly a gem. The food was excellent and the waiters were very friendly. We spent a wonderful afternoon on the terrace. Highly recommended if you're in Fertilia, as I don't think there's another place quite like this restaurant.

24/10/2025: Went for lunch. Was told much of the menu wasn't available as it was lunchtime(!), including pizza not offered at lunchtime for some strange reason. Annoyingly we only found this out after trying to order. All very odd despite being called Ristorante "Pizzeria" il Paguro! Roasted boar also wasn't available which was my second choice. So in the end we were left with a very limited selection of lunchtime choices which was disappointing. Outdoor patio gazebo is very nice to sit in, but unfortunately the roof structure helps the cigarette smoke to linger for all the non-smoking patrons while eating. Service seemed abit off to me, they weren't particularly busy at all but it almost felt like they were overwhelmed. Desserts were good, though nothing exceptional enough to make me return. I have many favourite restaurants in the Alghero/Fertilia area so don't think I'll be returning il Paguro.
