Despite being in a slightly out-of-the-way location, you can find old-fashioned service (punctual and attentive waiters) and always new and delicious dishes, created with fresh ingredients representative of the area, assembled with genius and taste. Phenomenal starters and the rest of excellent quality (both meat and fish)... recommended stop for curious tourists, but also for locals looking for new frontiers in the tradition. 04/09/2024: Breathtaking place, with attention to every detail and from which you would never leave. The food is excellent, organized in a tasting where they continuously bring you samples of different types of meat (plus appetizers and side dishes). The price is justified, you eat a lot and you can have more if you want. All the staff are friendly, pleasant and knowledgeable. The only advice I would give: say how many types of meat will arrive and in what order (it can help the eater to manage dinner better). Anyway I would recommend it, it's a special place and really good. Compliments!

14/08/2024: we found this place thanks to the excellent review on porcedu. However the place completely disappointed us, and it was the worst and at the same time the most expensive dinner of our entire trip to Sardinia. The starter was ok, but the first courses were not so good, and the porcedu they brought us smelled terrible, like expired meat. It was impossible to eat. When we ask the waiter if the smell is ok, she says yes and then even though we didn't touch any piece of the dish and the waiters and the owner saw it, they never gave any discount, but asked us not to write bad review, yes we true it wasn't good, but come back again and please don't write reviews." So in the end we were charged full price for the dish which smelled so terrible we had to ask for it to be put away from our table, 1 shared starter, 2 small first courses and a shared desert. This price was more than the entire dinner with fish for two at another restaurant nearby

25/07/2024: But what can I say, it's worth seeing, there's little to comment on: you can see all of Alghero and its port from above. It's not terribly expensive, but you can still find the menu online. A must if you come to Alghero. Indescribable in words. Please note that you must always book.

19/08/2024: Our experience at Agriturismo Sa Tanca Noa was simply perfect! Dino and his wife welcomed us with incredible kindness and helpfulness, making us immediately feel at home. The highlight was undoubtedly the fantastic breakfast, all homemade: fresh, high quality and truly delicious products. Every morning it was a real pleasure to start the day with such delicacies. The farmhouse is immersed in a quiet and beautiful environment, ideal for those seeking relaxation, but at the same time well connected for visiting the surroundings. I highly recommend Sa Tanca Noa to anyone wanting an authentic and relaxing experience in Sardinia. We will definitely be back!

18/08/2024: My partner and I had dinner at this farmhouse and were really satisfied. Fixed menu with abundant and excellent quality dishes, obviously typical Sardinian products. Really fantastic staff: smiling, helpful, kind. Lots of attention to all diets, from vegetarian to gluten-free. You can really see that they care a lot about what they do and customer satisfaction. Well done!

08/08/2024: We had dinner at Taberna with a couple of friends. Super positive experience. We ordered 2 full portions (really exceptional vegetable couscous and Andalusian horse) and other various tasting portions (gateau, chili, tripe, beans all'uccelletto, stracotto). All really good. 2 liters of draft beer, water, and 4 homemade desserts. Total just over 100 euros. Absolutely recommended. Mr. Santona is very kind, as are all the girls who work there. We will return 100%.

29/08/2024: Magnificent location, nice environment and really good dishes. Unfortunately the service is not up to the expense; beyond the fact of making a 10 month old baby pay €3 cover charge, we found a stone in a €20 plate of fregola (Not sand, a stone). I'm not saying not to charge him, but at least a discount or a glass offered would have been a nice gesture considering that the place offers luxury dishes (and prices). If I pay for a certain level of service I expect the customer care to also be of a certain level.

06/08/2024: Probably the best gluten free pizza I've ever had, but due to a misunderstanding I was first served a regular pizza and unfortunately had a few bites before I suspected the mix up. I still want to make it clear that the owners really took the mistake very, very seriously. They handled the situation at once, checked on me every few minutes and was clearly very shook and genuinely sorry this happened at all. It actually made me feel safe, taken care of, and want to come back. If you order the gluten free option, make sure it's served on an orange plate.

06/08/2024: We chose this restaurant because they offer gluten free pizza and we were not disappointed. We enjoyed the food, although I have to say that my (very special) pizza ultimately didn't quite suit my taste. Nevertheless, I was happy to have tried this unusual variation of a pizza (combination of panchetta, cheese, honey and pistachios). Regarding the gluten-free pizza: I was told there that this is actually only possible if ordered in advance. In my case they still had some dough, so I was lucky. Maybe call ahead. We would definitely come back :-)
