10/05/2026: We had dinner at Sale e Peppe in Castelsardo. I don't have much to say except that the staff was incredibly courteous and extremely friendly, and we even had the pleasure of chatting with the owner. The dishes were all spectacular. We ordered an 8-course mixed seafood appetizer (the photo only shows 4 because I was so rushed to finish everything, and I forgot to take a photo) and a seafood fregola for two. I'm a big eater, but unfortunately, there were leftover fregola, so the portions were decidedly generous. The prices were in line with other restaurants in Castelsardo, and the quality was decidedly high. It was a wonderful discovery; we'll definitely be back.

07/04/2026: The place is very large, spacious, and clean. The staff is very friendly and helpful, always ready to accommodate small requests. The dishes are truly high-quality; one I really enjoyed was the tripe, which I highly recommend. The polenta is also excellent. The first courses and wine are also good. The place is always busy, so it's best to book well in advance or you risk not getting a seat. There's ample parking outside. The price is really excellent, I highly recommend it; stop by because it's definitely worth it.

28/04/2026: Old style restaurant with a beautiful sea view, and here kind off ends the good things … The menu is nothing special and can be improved, at least for the first and second courses, the presentation on the plate and maybe some things on the restaurant The service is not bad , but I do not like when they are trying to convince you to go for the “pescato del giorno “ The starters are ok , fresh as well , the pasta , well , the taste was good but there could be some nice shrimps …Desert ok , but the plating .. Such a shame because it has potential and a lovely view

14/06/2026: Excellent!! Daniela and her family made us feel at home right away. The welcoming atmosphere, the elegant restaurant, and the knowledgeable staff were immediately evident. Their passion and professionalism were evident. We took their advice and were not disappointed. The appetizers were excellent, the raw seafood spectacular, and the roasted calamari perfect!! We will definitely be back. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!

12/06/2026: We'd discovered this restaurant through The Fork, where it was my fault I hadn't requested the standard 20% discount at the end of the meal, and the restaurant only noticed after we'd left. The food was divine, and we were impressed by the professionalism and friendliness of the owner and young waiter. The food, of course, was also worthy of a top-notch restaurant. We returned two days later, and as soon as the owner saw us and recognized us, she apologized without us even saying anything for the discount not being given. She immediately offered us a more generous appetizer than expected and asked us to order a first course for a minimum of two people. Before the dinner was over, she had to leave, leaving us in the hands of the young waiter and a young woman who handed us a delicious dessert. Despite all these thoughtful gestures, to apologize for what had happened two days earlier, she left instructions to give us the 20% discount this evening. And that's not all: when we paid the bill, the man also gave us a 20% discount valid for a month on lunch. What can I say? There are few restaurateurs like her, and even fewer people like her and the guys who served us. If I ever return to Castelsardo, I'll definitely visit those people again, and I'll definitely stop by for dinner or lunch to sample the chef's masterfully crafted dishes. I wish the restaurant and the people who run it all the best. Thank you for everything.

09/04/2026: Had a great brunch on Easter here! Nathan, a new server was on point!! Attentive, friendly, accommodating! The French toast and eggs benedict were delicious!! The crabcake on the crab benedict wasn’t the best we’ve had ( too much bread and a little fishy) but everything else was superb!!

17/05/2026: We were a table of nine, and while the welcome was decent, the rest of the service was pretty awful. The food wasn't bad, but not as bad as it appears on social media. The atmosphere was nice and quiet. The most unpleasant thing was the service, which was poor to say the least, with rude and uninterested waitresses. At a certain hour, they made it clear we had to leave, making jokes in dialect and laughing, which the guests didn't appreciate.

17/05/2026: The food is acceptable but the service is the thing that disappointed me the most practically as soon as the dinner was over they made us understand that we had to leave by clearing the table of everything even the glasses and making jokes in dialect saying (but these people don't have any at home) if it had been for the food I would have even come back but too much rudeness

04/06/2026: A really charming little local pizzeria with incredibly delicious pizza 🍕 Everything is rather simple and small, but that's exactly what makes it so cozy and welcoming. There's no frills here, just honest, good food in a relaxed atmosphere where you immediately feel at home. And above all: The people there are incredibly warm and friendly – ​​you can really tell they do it with love. A truly feel-good place that I highly recommend 👍

21/09/2025: We went because the menu says they had pork. We went to order it early because you need to reserve to eat pork, and they told us they didn't have it. They were also very rude. I don't understand why they would put something on the menu that they later told us was available, even if you book in advance. Especially when it's the typical dish of the area.

18/09/2025: The food was ok, not great. The problem was that I did not get what I ordered - they didnt have the pasta and the ingridient, so they just brought me similar dish. Waiter didnt speak english well. We ordered fish for 16€ (compared to other food and restaurants, pretty expensive) and we got one small slice of fish - absolutely not enough, maybe as a starter. I would not really recommend.

06/04/2026: We discovered this unique restaurant by chance. It serves excellent traditional dishes from Alghero and beyond. I recommend letting the bartender guide you through the cocktails. They're amazing. He created custom drinks just for us, based on our tastes. I highly recommend it.
