25/08/2024: I recommend covering the manholes near the tables in some way. The smell that came out was absolutely not pleasant! Much less during dinner! _Menu poor in choice. Instead of just the aroma it would have been pleasant to find a minimum of pulp in a fish first course. I am dismayed by a review of this level, which in my opinion is useful for improvement. It's a shame, the location is really romantic, quiet and pleasant.

24/08/2024: Il ristorante Villasole è una tappa fissa durante le nostre vacanze ad Alghero. Anche quest'anno abbiamo trovato buon cibo, personale cortese, ampia scelta di vini, attenzione alle specialità della Sardegna. Tutto in una location incantevole e ben curata. Consigliatissimo!

The staff is extremely professional, friendly, friendly and smiling. The dishes are plentiful and delicious. Unbeatable value for money. I highly recommend. Well done team 👏 👏 👏

11/08/2024: Nice restaurant, one of the few in Stintino as it is a small centre. The fregola is good, the appetizer needs improvement. It tastes all like tomato puree. I didn't notice any difference in flavor between one course and another. Sin ! Courteous staff.

10/08/2024: Excellent discovery, perfect for a couple's dinner. We didn't book but the waiting times were good anyway, maximum 15 minute wait for a table. Excellent food, more than positive experience. Staff attentive and available to our every request.

29/08/2024: 4 of us had dinner, we ate as if it were Christmas dinner (endless) and we woke up full of good things. We were very satisfied because we tasted all the traditional Sardinian dishes. The staff very kind and helpful. Quiet place surrounded by nature, fortunately without mosquitoes. Unfortunately for tourists it is difficult to reach if you don't have a car.

04/09/2024: My wife and I noticed this cafe on our travels during our 10-day stay in Alghero and we were keen to try it for lunch. I'm pretty sure they only serve breakfast and lunch and NOT dinner but, no doubt the business owner can correct me, if that's wrong. We called in at about 1.50pm on Sunday 1 September 2024 (they close at 3pm on Sundays, we believe). What a lovely surprise it was and just as good as we hoped it would be. We ordered Formaggio Arrosto to share as a starter. After that we chose Gnocchetti Alla Campidanese and a Bomba Salad for our main courses. These were served with 5 (yes, 5!) bread rolls. The portions were very generous and the quality of the starter, main courses and even the bread rolls was outstanding. Absolutely outstanding. We sat and enjoyed the very Italian atmosphere of male customers and female staff talking in that loud, expressive, Italian way. All accompanied by music from the tv. The ladies who served us were really friendly and professional and the cafe style is modern, clean and fun. All in all a memorable experience for us. We won't go back but only because we'll probably never be back in Alghero. But anyone reading this and thinking of lunch really should try Pausa Caffe. I can't vouch for the breakfasts, because we only had lunch but the food, service and atmosphere were all first class. Update of Wednesday 4 September 2024 - We enjoyed our first meal here so much that we chose the Pausa Caffe for our final meal in Alghero, before flying home, as we enjoyed eating here more than anywhere else we'd tried. On this second occasion we ordered two salads, a Caesar and a Salmon and both were superb, again served with bread rolls. We had to wait until 12.30pm, as they don't serve lunch until then so we just sat and enjoyed the vibrant atmosphere again. Perfect! Lots of locals, obviously well-known to the staff made for a lovely friendly experience. A wonderful, final memory of Alghero. We would definitely recommend.

01/09/2024: Delicious (very big) English breakfast. Even for two there is enough to eat. Delicious coffee and chocolate/pistachio croissants. Very nice and helpful staff ☀️

11/08/2024: Prenotato pollo e patatine alle 10,30 di stamattina, al nostro arrivo, alle 13,10, ci viene detto che non c è più perché è arrivata una signora che l ha richiesto...che senso la prenotazione??? Speriamo almeno che quanto preso in alternativa sia buono.

30/06/2024: Ottima rosticceria con tantissima scelta di pietanze , preparate tutte in maniera casereccia e tipica. Lo staff è davvero accogliente e gentile. Molto bella l'idea di poter mangiare all'interno, nella spaziosa e luminosa sala a disposizione. Consigliata.

14/08/2024: They made us wait half an hour to order 2 takeaway pizzas... the staff kept walking past us and so did the owner, pretending we didn't exist. If we hadn't asked those who wanted to make a reservation we would still be there and the answer was "no we are no longer doing take-away pizzas for tonight" when we kept seeing that they were delivering take-away pizzas to other people, among other things also making mistakes in deliveries. I was treated like a tourist even though I have been coming to Lu Bagni for twenty years. Rudeness and lack of professionalism are the words that distinguish this place.

14/08/2024: Really great restaurant. We stayed in Lu Bagnu for 5 days and tried a few different restaurants but always ended up coming back to this one at night. The food is delicious, the portions are very good and the price is very affordable 👌 we were 2 people, ordered drinks, appetizers, entré, desserts and paid less than 50€ total

16/08/2024: The sunset view only is worth a visit. Wonderful. The staff are friendly. The music is perhaps a little too loud for some, but just acceptable for us. The lunch menu is simple and not extensive. Parking is difficult, but we parked the car for free down at the edge of town. All in all, for a drink this is the perfect venue, also for a small bite. but don't expect culinary excellence for lunch.

16/08/2024: Good place to have something cool and enjoy its incredible views. At sunset it must be beautiful. We didn't eat and we can't comment. Non-existent waiters, we had to get up to ask at the bar and then pay, I imagine because it was an hour outside of lunch or dinner but paying such expensive drinks they should take care of those details.

30/08/2024: Very nice and welcoming place, friendly and helpful staff. The service was attentive and without long waits. We ordered three "tracagnotto" sandwiches that were really tasty and above expectations. The gluten-free bread is very soft and really good. Being celiac, I underline the attention and care shown in the preparation of the dish to avoid contamination. Advised!!

28/08/2024: Very good and well made food, special and very good burgers, served with a side dish included in the price. Special and good drinks (coca cola type mole cola appreciated). Perfect service, kind and friendly.

01/09/2024: Specialized place for grilled fish and meat. Yesterday we spent around €40 each: appetizers (balls in batter stuffed with diced ham and courgettes, a platter of cured meats and cheeses, grilled aubergine sauce), half a suckling pig booked in advance (the rind is not very crunchy, but the meat is not dry, on the contrary soft to melt in your mouth) horse diaphragm with a side of rosemary potatoes and finally the fried chiacchiere seasoned with their caramel and very soft papassini, water, coffee and wine in a carafe. Very nice place surrounded by green spaces and carousel corner.

31/08/2024: The staff and ambiente were very nice. Unfortunately the mixed pork grill plate was the biggest disappointment we have had so far in Sardinia. The salsiccia was good. While the meat quality of the neck and belly chops was also good I think, those pieces seemed to have been grilled without any seasoning or spices at all and thus lacked flavor. For that, the price (25€) is definitely too high, also the side dishes are too expensive (7€ for a portion of fries).

06/04/2024: I went with my girlfriends to attend the Jazz brunch & was entertained by Amafujo's Mood Swings. The food & cocktails were Delicious. The Music was Awesome. I Love Amafujo, I recommend going to the Jazz brunch. However All set is a Great venue to enjoy a great meal & atmosphere.

04/04/2024: **NEW 🥳 MENU** **OUTDOOR ♨️ SEATING** 👍🏼👍🏼 JULIA was our wait-staff today. Outstanding service! My Aunt had the 👉🏽 fried oysters' appetizer. She's very discerning -- No...make that picky -- about seafood. She raved about this dish. She also raved about the 👉🏽 crispy skinned salmon entré: cooked to perfection, nice presentation, and plenty to take home for a snack. My dish was 👉🏽 Ahi Tuna Nicoise -- also cooked to perfection. We splurged on dessert: a velvety smooth 👉🏽 cheesecake with blueberry compote. Plan to share! Music 🎶 selection of uptempo dance (of current artists) created a nice vibe.👌🏽 🥳 Worth the price point!! Note: Plan to pay for extras, i.e., sauces, more dressing.
