06/05/2025: If you want to go out for a delicious meal, you shouldn't visit this restaurant. The food is edible but anyone who knows good Italian restaurants will be seriously disappointed and have another bad evening.

04/05/2025: We were in the restaurant on 04/04 around 11.00 am to have an aperitif, but after a 40 minute wait and the only communication from the staff to my repeated requests to be heard was "I'll be right there" I'm still waiting for them. Terrible service, nothing can be said about the quality of the food.

13/04/2025: A nice place with friendly staff. But most importantly, the food was really delicious! I had fregola with seafood, and I was pleasantly surprised that they were very generous with the seafood — there was plenty of it. They also recommended a suitable and tasty local wine to go with it. I thoroughly enjoyed these flavors!

18/10/2024: Right on the beach, close to car park and the bus stop with views out to sea. Can dine inside, on the covered terrace or on the balcony, all with views. Sandwiches are very big and salmon pasta very tasty

There are restaurants that are definitely worse and have better reviews, our pizza is great, I can't imagine a nicer ending than here. The only thing that's annoying are the trucks that drive past to load and unload, but hey, I'm in the port and not at a beach bar.

Tutto superlativo.. gli antipasti abbondanti e buonissimi, i primi che dire, da degli ottimi malloreddus a una spaghettata alle arselle sublime. I secondi con la frittura di pesce degni di nota. Sicuramente organizzeremo di nuovo! Ne vale la pena sotto tutti i profili. Personale gentile e veloce.

10/12/2024: Value for money absolutely out of line. 22 euros a microscopic tuna tartar, full of fat and cartilage that I had to discard, on top of a tasteless burrata. The seafood carbonaras arrived at the table all very salty even if cooked at different times (this implies a mistake upstream of the line) with incorrect creaming (curdled). I didn't like the fried food, with the fish being of little quality and quite greasy and heavy (waited for almost 40 minutes after the others had already finished eating). The trio of tuna samples were absolutely too expensive (30 euros) for three pieces of tuna as good as many other tuna dishes I've tasted around. I hope not to read the usual tale of raw materials and processing as a justification answer because in Carloforte we all know how much good tuna and Ventresca and fish in general cost; and if you want you can create dishes with excellent raw materials without applying these prices. In my opinion, for these prices the restaurateur must be able to offer a very high level both in the kitchen and in the dining room, something that has absolutely failed here. Those who frequent high-level restaurants assiduously will agree with me on what I say, at that point I prefer to spend double or triple, but for it to be truly an experience. Last point which is not clear to me, first Nicola came to illustrate the wine, then he was the chef in the kitchen and then to do the math, I didn't appreciate this aspect.
