Friendly and professional service from the staff, quality food ruined by too much salt. P.S.: French fries made like San Carlo chips (and hard) have no reason to exist; I ate them purely out of hunger.

I had dinner at Ristorante Pizzeria Da Gian Piero in Palau and really enjoyed it. The pizzas were tasty, and the service was friendly and attentive. Prices were fair for the quality and portion size. Overall, a nice spot for a relaxed meal — I recommend it.

Not entirely satisfied. We had mussels, grilled fish, and fregola. Everything was good, though not memorable. The menu offers a wide selection (including meats and pizzas). The staff were welcoming and very courteous. The place was simple, but a bit anonymous. However...the quality-price ratio wasn't exactly stellar, and I was charged a full bottle of wine instead of the half I ordered; the difference was later refunded, but I didn't like it.

31/08/2025: The waiters are very kind, polite, and courteous, speaking softly and politely. But that alone wouldn't make me return. The food, in terms of price, flavor, and portion size, is outrageous: each appetizer averages €30, the first courses even more, each glass of wine €10, and desserts at least €10. They should definitely make slightly larger portions, and the flavor of the various dishes (tagliatelle with shrimp and gnocchi with octopus carbonara) didn't leave any lasting impressions that would make us want to return or recommend it. Sorry!
28/08/2025: Ordered for takeout. Excellent food, good service considering they didn't do takeout often.

06/04/2026: I had a truly positive experience at the Re Ferdinando restaurant in Palau. The dishes I tried were excellent: the crispy octopus was beautifully prepared, soft and flavorful on the inside with a perfect crust on the outside. The Neapolitan soup, on the other hand, was intense, fragrant, and rich in flavor, just as traditional. You immediately notice the attention to the quality of the ingredients and the care taken in their preparation. Special praise goes to the staff, always helpful, friendly, and professional, who made the atmosphere even more pleasant. A place absolutely worth a visit; I recommend it without hesitation!
