29/12/2024: I went last night with my friends wife and our dog and they treated us like criminals........ throwing us out because we wanted to eat at their place with the dog in tow!!!!! After a beautiful day at the seaside we didn't want to argue and lose the evening with the Carabinieri, given that they didn't even have a ban at the door and they treated us worse than "bad people"!!!!! I am truly disgusted by the treatment I received in a place like this!!!!! I feel sorry for them, to say the least, such scum and I hope that no one ever goes to such a place again!!!

01/12/2024: We waited an hour with a booked table. Very small portions that even on a diet you don't eat like this. The food is quite good but to eat two things 3 hours on the clock and left there starving. Not recommended

01/12/2024: We were passing by looking for a place to have lunch, it was around 14:00, so pretty much late, we saw this place and feeling in the mood, we decided to try it. The service was fast due to the fact that we were the only table at that time. We opted for the Taste Manu of 20€ which allows you to taste different small plates of food. If you are very hungry and want to fill the stomach don’t take this menu, it is more a gourmet experience than a full lunch. Even tho, food very delicious, unique tastes and interesting combinations of flavors. Good place if you want something light and feel a little bit fancy. Dessert was exquisite. Nice toilet.

13/10/2024: We discovered this place while walking along the street, intrigued by the welcoming environment we decided to enter, the choice was more than right. We were inspired by the selection of seafood appetizers, each dish was a surprise, a triumph of taste expertly combined with the right fresh notes that gave the dishes the exaltation of the raw material. The service is leveled on the quality of the dishes offered. The selection of wine is truly remarkable (also considering the cellar in the basement). Highly recommended for those who love to eat at the right times and to celebrate special occasions in a relaxed manner. Thank you for the wonderful experience you gave us!

02/01/2025: To my opinion there are not that many extraordinary places that you keep in memory, but Grotta Marcello is definitively one of them. The service is excellent, the food is excellent and the location is excellent. My suggestion: don't sit outside but enjoy the cosy caves inside. The place is a lot bigger inside than you probably expect from the outside terrace. Be sure to make a reservation, since it can be busy.

29/12/2024: Ordiniamo tre pizze, due margherite e una Margherita con aggiunta di carciofo sott'olio ( c'erano giusto tre mezze foglie ) pomodorini ( giusto due pezzi) e salsiccia secca ( tre ridicoli pezzetti ); al momento del conto le margherite 8 euro cadauna e la margherita con aggiunte 18 euro, 4 euro per l'esigua salsiccia, e 5 euro per il carciofo e i pomodorini, non mi era mai successo di pagare così tanto le aggiunte, che poi sulla pizza la farcitura era ridicola, uno sproposito....! State attenti alle aggiunte ...

30/11/2024: Chi conosce il pesce fresco lo paga volentieri, se scegli un’orata di pescato non può squagliarsi in bocca!! Pazienza!!

23/08/2024: Vacanza meravigliosa!!! siamo stati in questo hotel per 14 gg dove è permesso portare i cani, noi ne abbiamo 2 grandi… non ci sono parole per poter descrivere la gentilezza e professionalità del personale. Abbiamo cenato tutte le sere in hotel perché il ristorante è a dir poco fantastico, in cucina un team unico con persone “vere” e amanti del proprio lavoro fin dalle prime luci dell’alba. Un menu’ ricco di piatti unici con prodotti del territorio sempre freschissimi che spaziano dalla carne al pesce.E’ un FAMIGIA fantastica e unica, pronti a soddisfare ogni richiesta per farci stare. 20/12/2024: Good pizza, crispy to the last piece, good dough rising, good ingredients. A slightly discordant note, the wines not included in the menu and the surprise final price of 25 euros per bottle seems a bit expensive for an IGP.
