24/10/2025: Exceptional pizza, good service

11/10/2025: Good pizzeria, very attentive staff, a very thin pizza. Personally, I didn't consider it a very good pizzeria, but it was a really good one. The desserts are highly recommended.

06/11/2025: We stayed for almost two weeks, and the service was very friendly and helpful. Parking is available on the premises, with a few additional spaces just outside. The grounds were well-maintained, but it was a shame there wasn't a circular path. The location right on a large lake sounds beautiful, but when full, it dries up and has a large rim lined with withered trees. Previously, you could drive around the lake, but now the road to the hotel is a dead end. Breakfast was really not good. Every day, the same two types of sausage and one type of sliced ​​cheese. The jams, as is so often the case in Italy, were simply sweet and tasteless. The boiled eggs were ice-cold, and the scrambled eggs were too runny. The "workout room" is a pavilion with two treadmills. Our room was at the lowest part of the complex, which was a bit of a challenge with large suitcases due to the steep slope. When it got dark, you had to use your phone's flashlight because parts of the path were very poorly lit. This was a bit dangerous, especially on the steps.

06/09/2025: Overall, this hotel is a lovely, peaceful place to unwind. The rooms consist of semi-detached "cottages" built into the hillside. Access is via a stepped path, making them immediately inaccessible for wheelchair users and those with limited mobility. Breakfast is included, while lunch and dinner can be enjoyed à la carte or from a set menu, which is provided in writing at breakfast. A few caveats: one, as I mentioned earlier, is that the rooms (cottages) are generally quite noisy. Thirdly, the menu offered (via the breakfast menu) doesn't always meet expectations. For example, the salad is like antipasto, with chopped cabbage lacking in flavor. The same cabbage is used as a garnish/vegetable with a veal schnitzel. The price-quality/quantity ratio is not balanced, placing this hotel in the higher price range. We enjoyed our stay and would love to return, but perhaps for one or two nights.

24/08/2025: My advice is to not stay at this place. It doesn't look like a holiday resort, but rather like a MILITARY BARRACKS. The lady is very arrogant and rude. For the money he took, it's not worth it. I'd like to understand who gave him permission to run an agritourism business. NEVER AGAIN!

15/08/2025: A couple's vacation during the August bank holiday. The farmhouse's location is strategic for visiting the area's main attractions. Mrs. Maria Antonietta and her staff were very welcoming, helpful, and attentive to detail. The highlight is the breakfast, with fresh baked goods every morning, fresh seasonal fruit, and fabulous homemade jams (the pomegranate one is a must-try). The rooms are impeccably clean, with linens changed daily. You can also combine your stay with dinner, at a reasonable price, at the excellent restaurant run by Chef Giuseppe, the lady's son, with a vast menu featuring both fish and meat specialties and an excellent selection of wines. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED, we will definitely be back!

26/10/2025: We ate badly. On Sunday lunch, we were offered a choice between a platter of mixed red meats and a sliced ​​veal steak with potatoes. We chose the veal. I explained that one of us wanted it rare and the other well done. We were served a steak with arugula and parmesan; the arugula was somewhere between yellow and rotten, and the sliced ​​steak was actually an uncut steak, dry and decidedly overcooked for both of us, topped with a few squares of parmesan cheese from the supermarket, nothing else. The potatoes were gone. All for €42 in a small-town bar-trattoria with Formica tables. The two stars go to the friendly staff and the fact that at least there were cloth tablecloths and napkins.

07/01/2026: Bria – La Focacceria is one of those delightful discoveries. Excellent focaccia, fragrant, generously filled, and made with quality ingredients you can really taste. You can immediately sense the care and attention to detail in the preparation, with no shortcuts. Friendly and fast service, a simple yet elegant atmosphere, perfect for both a lunch break and a well-prepared snack. Prices are fair for what they offer; in fact, they're above-average in quality. A place you'll want to return to, because you know what you're eating and you know you're eating well. Keep up the good work. 💪

18/12/2025: Very good food and a quaint place. Friendly staff, they even gave us a doggy bag to take home any leftover focaccia! The only flaw, a small detail, was that we had asked for a vegetarian platter, but the focaccia was all filled with cold cuts.

06/10/2025: The restaurant is very spacious and offers an equally varied menu. The service is very friendly and prompt. It's worth it for a family evening, but it's certainly not exceptional. It was a quiet Saturday at the end of the season, but I have the feeling that when the restaurant is full, the food is a bit slow.

05/10/2025: Very disappointing – absolutely not recommended! We were really looking forward to our visit, but were severely disappointed. The pizza was only lukewarm, the seafood even cold, and the taste was far from what you would expect in a restaurant. The service, while friendly, unfortunately couldn't save the overall poor impression. At the beach, we were approached by an employee who highly praised the restaurant. We were told there was a great playground for children there – that was one of the main reasons we went. However, the reality on site was quite different: an old, rusty slide and a small plastic house that was many years old. Definitely not a nice or safe place for children to play. The value for money is completely out of proportion, and the quality of the food is completely out of proportion to what was promised. It's a real shame – we expected much more. I would like to expressly warn other families: Don't be fooled by the nice words on the beach. There are many better restaurants in the area where you can get really good food and a pleasant stay.

23/02/2026: The pizza was excellent, as were the ingredients. A kindness and friendliness you don't often find in restaurants. They took great care to serve the child first. Excellent value for money.

15/12/2025: Our stay at the Grillo was neither pleasant nor up to our expectations. When we entered the room, the carpet was very dirty, full of old and indelible stains; dust was widespread. In the bathroom, despite the architectural barriers, there was a nice bathtub with a plastic curtain. There were no toiletries, slippers, or bathrobes, as expected in a 4-star hotel. The mirror was dirty, as were the window panes. The bed had two thin pillows, no extra ones; inside were two woolen blankets (woolen ones!), layered on top of each other, and grayish sheets. Dissatisfied the next morning, we filed our complaints, but we almost felt reproached for not having reported our concerns immediately.

08/11/2025: I had a great time, the rooms were clean and the staff were very polite and friendly.

16/02/2026: We arrived at 8:00 PM without a reservation and were served in a flash. I found the pizza really tasty! 🍕 The ingredients seemed fresh. The service was adequate, and the staff, all very young, were courteous. The atmosphere was functional, without any particular distinguishing features. 🍽️✨ Let's be clear, it doesn't aspire to be a gourmet steakhouse with uniformed waiters and proper table settings, but the food is excellent, and that's enough to recommend it. I'll definitely be back to try the meat. If the stars had been for the price, it would have gotten another 5.

09/02/2026: I went to eat and the dishes arrived after 20 minutes. The pizza was cold and the dough was expired, it tasted sour and bitter in the mouth, The meat was tough and undercooked and smelled like leftovers from days ago, and the dish remained watery. The place was cold, the waiters were rude, the tablecloths were dirty and stained, and after two hours of leaving with friends, we felt stomach cramps. I hope they'll go and do a thorough check, so they'll definitely close it down.

03/10/2025: Today I popped into this place for a quick water and sandwich break during the pro-PAL event. I just want to say that you have a staff whose kindness is increasingly rare these days. The girl at the counter was special! I'll definitely be back, but I'll take it easy.
