Among the countless bars and restaurants in the square, I suddenly felt that my path led me to a very specific place – a moment that felt as if the universe itself had decided. The moment I stepped inside, I was enveloped by the special magic of this place. A warm, vibrant energy filled the air, a young, cheerful crowd filled the room, and I, probably the oldest guest, still felt completely welcome. But what truly made this place special was its heart and soul: the team. Every move was perfectly executed, every action akin to a dance, every guest greeted with a genuine smile. Passion and joy weren't just palpable here – they were tangible. I started the evening with a beer 🍻, but soon discovered an Amuerte Gin black on the extensive menu. Two gin and tonics followed, masterfully prepared, each a small work of art crafted with flavor and dedication. And then the team invited me for a small whisky – we toasted, laughed, and for a moment, time seemed to stand still. Here, they don't just work; they create magic for their guests. Moved by so much positive energy, I decided to make a generous gesture to the head of the crew – a hat for the whole team. At first, he was reluctant, but when I said, "What goes around comes around," he accepted the tip with a smile and deep gratitude. Shortly before closing time, I stepped out into the still night. Every step home was light and buoyant, carried by the energy of an evening that was not only successful but simply unforgettable. 16/02/2026: We arrived at 8:00 PM without a reservation and were served in a flash. I found the pizza really tasty! 🍕 The ingredients seemed fresh. The service was adequate, and the staff, all very young, were courteous. The atmosphere was functional, without any particular distinguishing features. 🍽️✨ Let's be clear, it doesn't aspire to be a gourmet steakhouse with uniformed waiters and proper table settings, but the food is excellent, and that's enough to recommend it. I'll definitely be back to try the meat. If the stars had been for the price, it would have gotten another 5.

09/02/2026: I went to eat and the dishes arrived after 20 minutes. The pizza was cold and the dough was expired, it tasted sour and bitter in the mouth, The meat was tough and undercooked and smelled like leftovers from days ago, and the dish remained watery. The place was cold, the waiters were rude, the tablecloths were dirty and stained, and after two hours of leaving with friends, we felt stomach cramps. I hope they'll go and do a thorough check, so they'll definitely close it down.

26/09/2025: We were just there at 4:30 pm and unfortunately it was closed. I don't know if it's already closed.... but we couldn't test it.

23/09/2025: Perhaps the ambiance puts many people off. It's not a typical restaurant. But the food is delicious. Cooked with love. The pizza is very tasty. We've had spaghetti with mussels, carbonara, and also the eggplant. It was always delicious. And the service was friendly.

26/10/2025: We ate badly. On Sunday lunch, we were offered a choice between a platter of mixed red meats and a sliced ​​veal steak with potatoes. We chose the veal. I explained that one of us wanted it rare and the other well done. We were served a steak with arugula and parmesan; the arugula was somewhere between yellow and rotten, and the sliced ​​steak was actually an uncut steak, dry and decidedly overcooked for both of us, topped with a few squares of parmesan cheese from the supermarket, nothing else. The potatoes were gone. All for €42 in a small-town bar-trattoria with Formica tables. The two stars go to the friendly staff and the fact that at least there were cloth tablecloths and napkins.

20/08/2025: We had dinner with my boyfriend and friends last night, and I can sum up our experience like this: good food, slightly less service and price. I'll start by saying we booked last minute, but if you can't serve us in a timely manner, say no; don't make us wait an hour for our food after ordering. We also had to ask three times if they could please bring us water. The food makes up for it; I had pizza, and it was very good, and the other people who had starters and main courses were also satisfied. The surprise came at the cashier when, in our opinion, the price was decidedly disproportionate. I'm not saying I won't return, but I can say that the service could definitely be improved.

06/04/2026: The reception staff were friendly and helpful, something I didn't find in the breakfast room. The room was large and clean, although the bathroom (shower over tub with a plastic curtain) and the furnishings could use a makeover. The location is central, and the parking is ample and free.

15/12/2025: Our stay at the Grillo was neither pleasant nor up to our expectations. When we entered the room, the carpet was very dirty, full of old and indelible stains; dust was widespread. In the bathroom, despite the architectural barriers, there was a nice bathtub with a plastic curtain. There were no toiletries, slippers, or bathrobes, as expected in a 4-star hotel. The mirror was dirty, as were the window panes. The bed had two thin pillows, no extra ones; inside were two woolen blankets (woolen ones!), layered on top of each other, and grayish sheets. Dissatisfied the next morning, we filed our complaints, but we almost felt reproached for not having reported our concerns immediately.

07/12/2025: For the delicious polenta alone, aside from everything else, it deserves 5 stars. A warm greeting to all the staff for their friendliness, professionalism, and customer service, which isn't always a given. I hope to return because it's worth it. If you're infatuated with your scent, even if you're following your nose, your nose will also be infatuated with your polenta. Your polenta is all one flavor. Juanne Villa
