16/11/2025: Aside from the usual cold cuts appetizers that all taste the same, overcooked gnocchi, two cold, rubbery pieces of suckling pig, and the undrinkable house wine, everything else was excellent.
05/11/2025: We had lunch at Sa Contonera two weeks ago with a group of hikers from Ogliastra, and we all had a wonderful time. Excellent food, friendly and helpful staff, more than fair prices, and generous portions. Highly recommended!

11/06/2025: Terrible, tough meat.... I asked for the meat well done and they brought it rare, I sent it back to cook it more and they brought it back almost the same. And yet the place had been well recommended to me by friends.

22/11/2025: I ordered three pizzas for delivery, told they'd arrive at 9:15-30 PM (maybe even earlier). I called back at 9:45 PM and they told me they were on their way out. I called back at 10:20 PM and they told me again that they were actually coming out now.... And at 11:00 PM they still hadn't arrived, leaving us without anything to eat!!!
(P.S. Last time, they were 1:20 hours late, always saying the same things to the reminder calls.)

Even for lunch, it's a heartwarming choice: carefully crafted dishes, excellent flavors, and delicious sandwiches make the menu rich and inviting. A little corner of everyday pleasure that's definitely worth discovering.
03/10/2025: Today I popped into this place for a quick water and sandwich break during the pro-PAL event. I just want to say that you have a staff whose kindness is increasingly rare these days. The girl at the counter was special!
I'll definitely be back, but I'll take it easy.

A bit gloomy and not very pleasant...
The room was old and smelled musty, the mattress was as hard as rock.
The price/quality ratio wasn't great... too expensive for that.

16/10/2025: The location is scenic, practically on the water, the place is old, the food quality isn't great, the service is average, and the prices are quite high considering what's on offer.
The pizza isn't great, the food is nothing special.
The place has been around for over 50 years, is very well-known, and often very crowded.

28/09/2025: I was shocked. When I entered, I greeted him with a good morning, and in response, the older gentleman, looking at me with a very superior air, dismissed me by telling me it was late (2 pm) and closed. If you want to feel at home, I recommend it. NEVER AGAIN 🤬🤬

They offer a daily menu, with a fixed price of €12, but there are also plenty of other options at slightly higher prices. The staff is friendly and the atmosphere is spotless. Service could be a little quicker, and ordering methods should be made clearer.
The food on the fixed menu could be heated up a bit more, or at least covered with lids.
Otherwise, nothing to complain about. Truly excellent and highly recommended. Prices are fairly reasonable for a place in the center of Sassari.

08/10/2025: There were 9 of us: 4 adults, 5 teenagers/children.
The food was okay (depending on what you ordered, it was also good), and the atmosphere in the restaurant was okay.
The service - well...
One child only wanted to order a side salad or a portion of fries (which is available on the menu).
The staff then got rude and demanded that we order a set menu.
This was despite the fact that we hadn't "just" ordered pizza, but entire menus with appetizers and expensive wine.
The restaurant should be more accommodating...
With a "Servizio & Coperto" charge of €2.50 per cover, you're already paying for the service.
