15/10/2025: An absolute insider tip, the waitress's recommendation won us over. The calimari fritti were perfectly seasoned 👌 The starter is enough for two people, as the pizzas were rather large. The service was very friendly and attentive. My only complaint to the restaurant owner: please get a pepper mill. This would make it look more authentic 🤌

13/10/2025: I ate the pizza, and as always, I'm happy. For me, pizza in Pula is synonymous with Sa Macinera.

01/03/2026: A lovely seafront location near a charming tower near Torre degli Ulivi. I've been several times, tried both the restaurant and the pizzas, and found everything delicious, even the dessert. Excellent service, distinguished by the waiters' professionalism and kindness.

06/12/2025: A bright, airy, and welcoming place... The highly responsible and friendly staff are always ready to chat. The products are excellent and made with seasonal fruit and fresh ingredients. The menu often features brand new and tasty items. Outdoor seating is available to enjoy the summer sun and cool breeze. Wheelchair accessible. They also offer home delivery.

10/12/2025: When there are parties nearby, it's almost a mandatory stop, and the crowds unfortunately make it difficult to consume food and even go to the bathroom. Too crowded!

17/03/2026: Unnecessarily expensive. The dough is delicious, but the available flavors aren't anything original or special enough to justify €20 for a pizza. Service is very fast, but so fast that they snatch your plate from under your nose as soon as you've taken the last bite, because they had to clear the table for the second sitting. The dining room is small, and you had to shout to speak (in my case, there was a huge table with children, which was inappropriate in a place like this given its small size).

13/03/2026: Exceptional pizza, probably the best I've ever had. Even though we travel a lot and have tried many, Sa Madrighe amazed us with the quality of the ingredients and the incredibly light and digestible dough. The flavor combinations are spot-on and sophisticated. The place is very pleasant, quiet, and not at all chaotic. A must-try in Sassari for those who love real, quality pizza. It's best to book in advance.

20/10/2025: Restaurant in an alley where the welcome is decent but it's a real tourist trap. It's good but very expensive and a bit limited in the plate. 15€ for a pork chop and 7€ for a plate of grilled vegetables consisting of 2 eggplant slices and 5 zucchini slices. It's a steal. 16€ for a plate of spaghetti bolognese is expensive. 3€ for a 75cl bottle of water when the day before in another restaurant it was 3€50 for 1.5l. So if you can go elsewhere, don't hesitate. Oh yes and 2€50 for service per person so 10 balls for 4. Free in other restaurants like the one from the day before in Isola Rossa.

19/10/2025: Tourist trap! Avoid! When ordering, I explained to the waiter that I actually preferred grilled fish to fried octopus... and he finally brought me both! I protested! But nothing worked! The grilled fish was raw inside... I had to send it back to the kitchen! My son's hamburger came as a simple hamburger with fries... the lasagna wasn't homemade... etc.... and the bill was very steep for a bad meal! When the food is so good in Sardinia!

12/03/2026: I went for lunch today, March 12, 2026, with a friend. We had a seafood appetizer, a seafood first course, and a mixed fried fish dish. Everything was fresh, high-quality, and cooked to perfection. Highly recommended.

19/12/2025: Don't expect a fancy restaurant; it's small and dignified, and the food quality is remarkable, with a special mention for the tender, not rubbery, and delicious fried calamari. All in all, a pleasant interlude with a different menu.

22/03/2026: Although it's not the first time I've come to this place (where I've always had a good experience), Today I arrived at 5:50 PM and left at 6:20 PM without any of the waiters (I counted 4/5) asking me if I needed anything. It seems excessive to wait more than half an hour to ask for a table for an aperitif. They should be a little more attentive to their customers. In short, the staff isn't suited to the location.

17/03/2026: Over the course of three years, Bar Mai Tai has changed significantly. The indoor dining room is no longer there, but a separate outdoor area has been opened that easily rivals the old one, both in terms of capacity and air conditioning. The old dining room now houses outdoor tables, which are truly comfortable, especially in the summer. What has remained the same is the high quality of the products, the courtesy of the staff, and the professionalism of the management.

06/11/2025: I'm forced to post another review because I can't respond to the establishment's response. 1. The towel provided was exactly what I described. 2. Not only was my pants soaked (as pictured), but my back was soaked, too, with water that was definitely not clean, given its source. The fact that you downplayed it again in the comments makes it all the more embarrassing, because it would have been enough to simply show your apology and not downplay the inconvenience you caused (because yes, you know your establishment, and you should have anticipated it, given that the waitress herself said you had also emptied the gazebo cover several times). I would have expected more seriousness and empathy. She certainly can't determine what's causing my congestion, as she doesn't know my condition or have been concerned about it. A breath of wind is enough to cause it! Regardless, having someone soaked in dirty water from your gazebo wander through the crowded streets isn't nice. Please have the intellectual honesty to admit that you weren't up to the task of dealing with a potentially simple situation, because laughing in my face at the cash register certainly doesn't make me want to lighten the situation. Madam, people respond to you when they notice your response, not because you have any relevance in the world, but I'm very happy it happened, because by continuing to harp on about the downpour and the inappropriate manners, and by responding in this tone to all the negative reviews, you prove to those who read who's right. I bid you farewell, one last time, because if the finger points to the sky, the fool looks at the finger. I won't bore you any further.

04/03/2026: Too bad it was still closed at 12.20, because the opening time was 12.30. It didn't even give the impression of a restaurant that should have opened for service, we had to leave 🤷🏼‍♀️

19/02/2026: I'd like to clarify that I didn't eat at this restaurant. I called to make a reservation and spoke to a very rude and unhelpful person. This made a terrible impression on me, and I've decided to book elsewhere.
