11/10/2024: Came across it by chance after a walk in the center of Alghero and very inspired by the name of the place. Usually my inspiration never disappoints and this time too it couldn't have gone better. A secluded and very characteristic place, a relaxing atmosphere and friendly and extremely helpful staff. We took a mussel menu for 2 people, a risotto for the children, a french fries, 3 desserts, 4 bottles of water, a correct coffee. Spend €95, normal prices. All delicious! Truly congratulations! Keep it up guys, when we're back in the area we'll be back for sure.

13/11/2024: I am giving the food and service a 2 because I’d sent back a pizza that was soupy. I’d ordered the same pizza 4 nights ago and it was amazing. I was told this is normal. The table next to me also agreed it was watery. That is not the issue. They took it back and I’d ordered something else. But, we were totally snubbed by the very hosts that welcomed us the first 2 nights we ate there. For that reason alone, we wont’ go back ever. And why the not so great review. If you treat your customer base as though they offended you, then you must risk a review that will match this attitude. I am not one to offer such reviews but it was almost humiliating to be snubbed. So many amazing places to eat. I’ll spend more money for better treatment. Thank you kindly.

04/01/2025: Pessima esperienza servizio pessimo. 46 minuti di attesa tra gli antipasti e il primo piatto spaghetti vongole bottarga e cannolicchio , senza gusto e pasta scotta , essendo pasta fresca avrebbero dovuto interrompe la cottura prima per poi far saltare e amalgamare tutto assieme. Conto esagerato per la qualità del cibo , mix di numero sei(6) antipasti gourmet è un primo piatto, eccellente solamente il cestino del pane , ottimo gustoso e croccante,

03/01/2025: Dopo anni, sono tornata alla Trattoria Portixedda, e devo dire che l’esperienza ha superato ogni aspettativa. La qualità che ricordavo, eccellente e genuina, è rimasta intatta, ma ciò che mi ha davvero colpito è l’evoluzione del locale. La cucina ha raggiunto un nuovo livello di ricercatezza, proponendo piatti che combinano sapientemente tradizione e innovazione, con sapori autentici e una cura straordinaria per i dettagli. L’ambiente è stato ammodernato, mantenendo però quell’atmosfera accogliente e familiare che l’ha sempre caratterizzata. Il servizio è impeccabile, attento e cordiale, mentre il rapporto qualità-prezzo è semplicemente eccezionale, rendendo la Trattoria Portixedda una tappa imperdibile per chiunque voglia vivere un’esperienza gastronomica di alto livello senza spendere una fortuna. Un ritorno che mi ha fatto riscoprire un piccolo gioiello culinario!

24/12/2024: Pleasant environment, well looked after, particularly captivating in this Christmas period with lots of decorations and lights, music in the background (I underline in the background: absolutely adequate volume, you can talk without shouting). Young, courteous, smiling, fast staff. Good menu, varied, stocked. Excellent meat quality. For family, friends, children of all ages. It's good for everyone. Smiles and kindness included in the evening!

11/12/2024: It's hard to say that the food is delicious... The chef keeps making broth in the kitchen, but I can't say the food is delicious. It's average. Instead, the servers are very friendly and don't discriminate against race.

10/12/2024: This is my first restaurant in Italy and it has been an amazing experience. The hospitality of the hosts is unbelievable. The food is delicious, you have to try the calf cheek. It was raining and they even take us to the hostel. I'd definitely try it as many times as I can.

23/10/2024: The "greeting" was: "there is no pizza, this is a restaurant." Ok, good evening and welcome, we didn't ask for pizza. For us there was a tagliere which was rich and good, but after that it got worse. The fregola wasn't good at all, the sauce was sour, we didn't eat it. The Tagliata di Manzo was nothing special, at best bland and the meat was inferior. There was a lump of undissolved powder in my crema catalana, embarrassing. But the coffee was good again. It was the first evening in Sardinia, I hope it gets better.

14/12/2024: I highly recommend it to all people who want to eat a proper fainè, very good, the girl who answered the phone, very kind, very punctual delivery... if I could give 100 stars I would... see you next time we'll also try the pizzas...

Grande gentilezza del personale , buono il cibo ; abbiamo mangiato antipasti di prosciutto e formaggio , due primi : ravioli di formaggio e caserecce allo zafferano , la carne cotta alla brace e vitello brasato , varietà di dolci . Tutto buono

14/10/2024: Se volete stare in mezzo alla natura tra vigneti, ottimo cibo locale e buon vino di produzione propria, vi trovate nel posto giusto! Cordialita' e ospitalita' vi accompagneranno in questo percorso culinario..complimenti ai proprietari e a tutto lo staff! Ci siamo sentiti a casa :)

24/11/2024: Locale molto carino ed elegante; personale gentile e cibo a dir poco favoloso. I prezzi non son sicuramente bassissimi ma la qualità si paga. Locale davvero delizioso in tutto e per tutto

24/11/2024: La cena qui è stata un vera coccola. Abbiamo preso una bottiglia di chardonnay francese, un antipasto di calamari fritti e chips di patate (abbondante) due piatti di rana pescatrice con patate e olive (eccellente), dolci indimenticabili (tortino dí pecorino e bottarga e bavarese accompagnati da due calici di muffato della sala). Tra antipasto e secondo ci è stata offerta un’ottima polpetta di verdure; persino il pane e’ una delizia. Il servizio è eccellente: attento competente e discreto. Il conto è stato più che onesto (108 euro) torneremo!
