03/04/2025: Disappointed, having looked forward to what reviews showed as outstanding food and service. We arrived (very definitely in the off season on a cold day) at the restaurant at 1400 , for a posted 1500 lunchtime closing. The restaurant only had 4 other guests and yet we were told that they were closed. Moral being I suppose that you need to book, otherwise risk being turned away even if they are not busy and showing to be open for another hour.

05/01/2025: The place is really nice, friendly staff, helpful and ready to satisfy all customer requests, excellent and varied cuisine that mixes tradition with innovation. I recommend stopping by because it's worth it.

Le recensioni di questo locale hanno attirato la nostra attenzione. Il locale è piccolo, essenziale e accogliente, con annessa macelleria. È il posto giusto per noi, che ricerchiamo sostanza e cortesia più che la forma. Nei periodi "caldi" penso sia fondamentale prenotare. Il servizio è eccellente, garantito da 2 ragazzi professionali ed educati. Una menzione speciale per Francesca. Anche il titolare, molto gentile, si assicura che il tutto sia di gradimento. Salumi di produzione propria e carne eccezionale. Noi non abbiamo preso i menù ma una serie di assaggi (principalmente bombette, tagliata e patate alla brace). Sono attenti alle intolleranze alimentari come la celiachia. Vino della casa buono. Rapporto qualità/prezzo eccezionale. Coccola finale inaspettata e molto gradita. Consigliatissimo!

20/03/2025: We found ourselves by chance in this take-away restaurant and not only for lunch. My husband and I chose the cavatelli with seafood and he also chose the Sicilian scallops. All delicious and generous portions! To finish, a truly exquisite tiramisu and all at an honest price. The boy behind the counter is very friendly: he brought the dishes to the table. We will definitely return when we come to Martina Franca. Highly recommended

14/03/2025: Accolti il maniera perfetta. La signora che ci ha servito è la gentilezza fatta persona. Raccolta e vinta la mia sfida personale con lo chef sullo spaghetto all'assassina.... davvero un buon piatto, come del resto anche gli antipasti ed i secondi. A presto !

13/02/2025: Una vera scoperta! Il Pozzo della Fortuna è un ristorante eccellente, dove qualità e ospitalità si fondono perfettamente. I piatti sono curati nei minimi dettagli, con ingredienti freschi e sapientemente lavorati. Ogni portata è un'esperienza di gusto che conquista dal primo assaggio. Perfetto anche per una sosta pranzo durante la giornata lavorativa: il servizio è rapido ed efficiente, senza mai rinunciare alla qualità. Pierpaolo e Simona sono estremamente gentili e cortesi, rendendo il pranzo ancor più piacevole. L’atmosfera è accogliente, ideale sia per una pausa di lavoro che per una cena più rilassata. Autenticità, qualità e professionalità sono garantite. Torneremo sicuramente!

08/09/2024: Great discovery, you order the meat you want at the display case, everything is fresh there, once you have ordered you go to your table, here you order the side dishes and your drinks. Everything was served nicely and the food was delicious, we will definitely come back here again.

25/02/2025: Historic venue passed to new management. The pizzas I have gotten (takeaway) are always good. The novelty of the goulash panzerotto is interesting and I haven't had the opportunity to taste it yet. The arancini are excellent. It's often full so I prefer to do takeaway. I would like to try desserts one day too.

11/01/2025: Historic place in Taranto, with friendly and helpful staff. I go there often, but in my opinion, unfortunately, it has lost a lot, the prices have increased and the quality of the pizza is no longer as excellent as it was years ago, despite the wood-fired oven, then I noticed that years ago the counter offered more quantity of dishes, but now you often have to wait, because unfortunately, there is only one person behind the counter to serve. Unfortunately, I will not go back with pleasure, there are competing pizzerias with a better quality product.
