06/08/2026: For all celiacs and others. I'm from Rome and I come on vacation to Salento, and I've always come to Cistaredda because the pizza is exceptional. This year, with my son, who is celiac, we ordered two different gluten-free pizzas. What I can say is that we've never had pizzas like this! In fact, I've never had pizzas like this. Try them and write a review like this. By the way, even the fruit is gluten-free.
06/08/2026: This is our second time here, and it's the second time we've been completely satisfied. There were four of us, and we ordered two pizzas to split and four first courses. The pizzas were delicious, made with quality ingredients, and the first courses were plentiful and excellent. Thanks to chef Donata and the entire staff. And a special thanks to Andrea, who recommended the lemon tagliolini with mussels, which were delicious.

16/08/2026: A small restaurant in Tricase Harbor, specializing in seafood. All the ingredients are fresh daily. The bread is fresh and made in-house. There are three dining areas: a sea-view terrace, a ground floor with a refined dining room, and a terrace overlooking the sea in the small seaside town that hosts it. The seafood platter and desserts are highly recommended.
13/08/2026: Been here a few times now and looking forward to it every time. Food, service and atmosphere are all great. A must go spot, and in my opinion a gem to preserve.

28/05/2026: A beautiful little place surrounded by nature, a simple rural structure but meticulously cared for in every detail. The poultry and the friendly, sweet donkeys enrich the atmosphere of times gone by. We kneaded bread and baked it in the wood-fired oven, a wonderful experience of returning to authentic life.

16/07/2026: This small, family-run restaurant in Caprarica di Tricase has a somewhat long wait, as is often the case on Saturday nights. An extra waiter would be helpful, although the one female waiter does a good job. The pizza is good and well-seasoned. The beer selection is also decent. Prices are more than fair. In the summer, access to a small courtyard is through the kitchens.

Light, well-leavened dough with a soft, fragrant crust. The ingredients are high-quality, and you can immediately sense the attention to detail in their preparation. The pizza is always rich, well-topped, and cooked to perfection. Even the fries on top were crispy and tasty, without overpowering the flavor of the other ingredients.
Quick service and excellent value. For me, Pizzeria Lu Salentu remains one of the best pizzerias ever.

30/05/2026: During our stay in Tricase, enticed by the good reviews, we went to dinner at this pizzeria. We had both excellent pizza and delicious arancini, which, as Sicilians, we particularly appreciated because they weren't greasy and the ingredients were very fresh. Mrs. Sonia and her staff are very professional and kind. Thank you for everything.
07/04/2026: We dined here on Easter Monday. We only realized afterwards that many families would be eating in the restaurant on Easter Monday, rather than in the evening. We had reserved in advance for the evening. Despite the fact that Antonio and his team had been busy all afternoon, they still took the trouble to welcome us. We were the only guests and were spoiled culinarily with homemade bread, focaccia, and a delicious amuse-bouche featuring very tasty aubergine with a lovely, firm texture. The spaghetti al noci was top-notch, as were the osso buco and the lamb shanks, all enjoyed with a glass of red wine from Manduria. We declined dessert. 15/08/2026: We were a large group, and we understand that managing so many people can be complicated. We ordered mixed seafood appetizers and were advised to order one portion for every two people. In the end, they served us fewer, a questionable amount, but we didn't say anything.
We then ordered the catch of the day and, among the three of us, clearly repeated our order. When it was time to serve it, a completely different dish was presented, and when we commented on it, we were met with a rather annoyed response: "I repeated it before placing the order, maybe you didn't understand."
Even if there was a misunderstanding, that's certainly not the way to address someone.
The quality of the food, it must be said, is good, but quality isn't enough when there's a lack of attention and, above all, respect for the customer.
09/08/2026: You're in a place where unnecessary dishes are banished, focusing on the essence of flavor thanks to the quality of the product.
It's very rare in Salento to leave a restaurant and promise yourself a return visit.
