05/08/2025: Se ami i sapori autentici della tradizione devi fare un giro in questo locale. Ci sono stato a pranzo domenica scorsa. Sono stato accolto dal titolare persona solare e gentile. Mi ha mostrato la bellezza del locale e raccontato la sua storia e idea di cucina; per un curioso come me un'accoglienza top. Ambiente pulito, elegante e tranquillo. Nelle foto vi mostro alcune delle cose che ho mangiato. La novità per me sono stati i fichi in agrodolce, un esperienza di gusto molto simpatica. Tra i pani vi consiglio di provare la cucuzzata, in salento ne ho mangiate diverse ma questa mi ha stupito sia per la qualita degli ingredienti che per l'aggiunta di cima di rapa( unica cosa attenti alle olive piccole con i noccioli). Le polpettine fritte mi ricordavano quelle che preparava mia nonna. Il primo degli spaghettoni con occhipinti e cacioricotta, vi posso dire che oltre alla bellezza visiva la salivazione vi aumenterà per il buon profumo e per il sapore dato da quel pomodoro e basilico fresco. Per secondo la tagliata tenera che si scioglie in bocca anche se io l'ho fatta cuocere parecchio sulla pietra lavica perché mi piace stracotta. Mi son fermato al secondo perché era strapieno ma avrei provato anche altro del ricco menù. Per me un esperienza da rifare, vista anche la genuinità è freschezza dei prodotti. Continuate così ! 09/07/2025: Tradition, authenticity, and spontaneity! Trattoria Iolanda is the pinnacle of home-style Salento cuisine. The restaurant is authentic, rustic, and family-friendly, the staff is friendly and genuine, and the menu embodies traditional, high-quality cuisine. The fried pasta appetizer is highly recommended, as is the fresh homemade pasta with sauce and horse meat (and coming from a Catania native who grew up eating horse meat, you can trust me), as are the meat-based main courses and the excellent pasticciotto cake. The price is truly superb! (Just over €35 per person for an appetizer, a first course, a meat-based main course, a side dish, dessert, wine, and water. Where can you find such low prices for such high quality these days?) In short: wonderful atmosphere, excellent menu, super prices... What more can I say? Well, the poem posted in the room speaks the truth: "When you get up because you have to leave, I swear, you do it with great longing!" Highly recommended!

10/08/2025: A location with a spectacular view, it offers indoor seating with windows and a covered terrace. The restaurant is perfect for a romantic dinner, with a very peaceful atmosphere. The dishes are delicious and beautifully presented.

25/05/2025: I was at Voglia yesterday, in Piazza Cappuccini in Tricase, and I can say with certainty that it is a must-see for those who love well-made desserts. It is a place specialized in bomboloni, Krapfen and lobster tails filled with special and super delicious creams: Rocher cream, white cream, pistachio cream, hazelnut cream, chocolate cream, Kinder Bueno cream... and the list goes on! Every bite is a bomb of flavor. The desserts are always very fresh, filled on the spot and with quality ingredients. An explosion of flavors that makes you want to try them all. Personally, I tried the lobster tail with Rocher cream: simply spectacular. Plus, while I was there, I was lucky enough to hear celebrations in perfect Neapolitan style, a warm and cheerful atmosphere, which made the experience even more special. Even though we were in the heart of Salento, for a moment it seemed like we were in Naples, but without excess or confusion. There are two small flaws, however: 1. You can only eat outside, so you have to keep an eye on the weather. 2. Parking is complicated: I found a place about 5 minutes away on foot, but I assure you it was worth it. In conclusion: Voglia is a corner of irresistible sweetness in Tricase. If you are in the area, don't miss it. Once you try it, it becomes difficult not to come back. I tried the bombolone al Kinder Bueno at Che Voglia in Tricase: a real bomb of taste! Soft, creamy filling and sweet at the right point, with that delicious touch of Kinder Bueno that makes it irresistible. Highly recommended for a super enjoyable break!

11/07/2025: Everything was excellent. The only flaw, now common throughout Salento, is the price. Restaurants are incredibly expensive. The €80 per person price tag has become accepted. A plate of mussels, good, was €20. Exorbitant prices. I'm Italian, though, so I'm a bit of a complainer. But there were six English people sitting next to me. The poor father must have shelled out around €450 by the end of the evening; he was staring blankly. He spoke little. He was already imagining the rest. We'll be moving next year. We need to show some dissatisfaction. Quality can be maintained even at a reasonable price.

06/07/2025: Bar Lemì - Cozze e Gin is what happens when someone takes a classic seafood trattoria, gives it a gentle modern polish, and adds just the right amount of gin. The new location is beautifully redone - the kind of place where you’re not sure if you’re supposed to eat or just nod appreciatively at the lighting fixtures. Very contemporary, very clean, very “let’s open a bottle and order everything with tentacles.” 🐙 The menu is fish-focused (big surprise, given the name) but doesn’t just play the hits, there’s a nice mix of local and creative without getting too fancy. You won’t need a translator, a sommelier, or a second mortgage. The staff? Genuinely lovely. The kind of people who smile like they actually mean it - rare and deeply appreciated. And yes, the gin flows. Pair your cozze with a cocktail and pretend you’re making healthy life choices. Highly recommend if you like seafood, don’t mind a little modern flair, and appreciate being treated like a human instead of a table number. 🐟🍸

20/01/2025: Whenever I feel like eating a pizza I come here with my partner. The owner is always very kind, as are the waiters. What can I say...Really good pizza dough and large quantities of ingredients to fill you up, not like some pizzerias that give you paltry slices of ingredients. All adequate at the right price. I highly recommend.

14/08/2025: Beautiful location and refined food. Here, the pursuit of tradition comes from the expert use of raw materials, transforming them into something new, modern, and unconventional, without forgetting where you belong. The historic residence is truly stunning, and being in the little square, with its lights, surrounded by old buildings, and caressed by the light summer evening breeze, is wonderful. The head waiter was very knowledgeable and welcoming; I really appreciated his advice, even though we ultimately decided to choose the specials of the day and not the fish, but from a distance, the dishes looked excellent. A beautiful, peaceful evening.

13/08/2025: Nice place and friendly staff. However, the food is not good value for money. Overcooked pasta, which is surprising in Italy. The fish was very bland. Expensive for the quality you get.

28/07/2025: Un luogo rispettoso dell'identità e della cultura salentina, silenzioso, semplicemente elegante, senza fronzoli ed orpelli inutili. Cibo genuino e sincero, a km zero, vino a mescita molto gradevole, personale gentile, proprietari accoglienti. L'unico piccolo neo le porzioni di alcuni piatti un poco scarse (vedi mostarda e marmellate che accompagnano delle sottilissime fettine i formaggio, quasi invisibili) che, se si considera che si tratta di cibo povero, rendono il prezzo un poco alto. Ma nel complesso ci si ritorna volentieri.
