07/01/2025: Small but clean and welcoming environment, with a lot of family atmosphere. Excellent food, cooked with the care of times gone by. We had dinner the evening before the day of the Epiphany. Short wait and finally a nice surprise with lots of culinary pampering. We must return to taste all the other things the house offers. 21/02/2025: This was recommended by a Slow Food guide, and I was thrilled that it was open in January when so many other places were closed. The meal felt special. First, the bread was good, not just obligatory filler. We ordered the house antipasti to share between the two of us and were astonished at how much food kept coming. I was especially fond of a crispy stacked zucchini assembly that I don’t know the name of and also the marinated aubergine slices. Our main courses were also delicious. I would also like to mention the kindness of the team that fed us, both front-of-house and kitchen. I felt in the presence of goodness.

19/02/2025: We wished we spoke better Italian to properly thank the chef! Experiencing Puglia in winter where there is not a soul and somehow we found the perfect place to have a comforting meal. Service and food impeccable, we felt welcomed and the food was delicious! 100% recommend.

12/01/2025: This was a wonderful experience, we didn't really understand the process, you choose your meat first, they then take in and cook in the wood oven, while you walk though to restaurant. Food was great, meat cooked to perfect, crispy, charred but still juicy. We had bombette, sausage and veal strip + potatoes, (baked and covered in olive oil and salt came close to stealing the show) and well as grill eggplant and zucchini. The meal is simple but perfect. The setting is atmospheric. One of my fave dining experiences in Pulgia.

20/12/2024: Sono stata al Chirico con amici e ci siamo sentiti subito a nostro agio. Siamo stati accolti prontamente dal personale di sala. Piatti cucinati alla perfezione, curati nei minimi dettagli. Nonostante nel locale ci fossero due tavolate, sono stati veloci nel servizio. Prezzi onestissimi. Ci ritorneremo sicuramente❤️

27/01/2025: Tanto decantato e poi? Il Primo: Risotto con caviale di melanzane, scampi e stracciatella alquanto insulso. Se avessi preparato riso e formaggino....sarebbe stato piu' saporito.. Ovviamente il piatto e' rimasto li! Senza mangiarlo! Il secondo:Filetto di maialino in sfoglia con pancetta affumicata, spinaci e polvere di noci, con il filetto durissimo e non scaldato al punto giusto. Il filetto di maiale dovrebbe sbriciolarsi con un grissino. Invece? Neanche con coltello e forchetta. Conclusione? 3 mini calici di Amarone......3x10= 30 eur??? Ma ci rendiamo conto ? Il primo piatto non mangiato? PAGATO! Comunque mai piu'. Veramente deluso!

15/12/2024: I'm not happy about writing bad reviews, however in this case I reluctantly have to say that if the starter and first course were excellent, the meat-based main course was inedible. I don't drink but my friends had to exchange the first bottle of red wine for a second one. In the end the bill was rather "salty".

24/02/2025: Carne saporita e ben cotta, servizio cortese, prezzo onestissimo. Trovato per caso passeggiando per il centro storico, senza prenotazione, ci hanno fatto accomodare senza attese.

07/11/2024: Great little small bat perfect for a quick lunch. Very kind and friendly staff serving the table. The tripe soups and pasta as well as the meat stew are all very very good. Price very reasonable as well ! Definitely worth going.

30/09/2024: Bar fermé alors que les horaires disent que c’est ouvert. De plus, ce bar est référencé sur Google comme ce situant sur la place en plein milieu du centre historique alors que ce n’est pas le cas.

10/12/2024: On Saturday evening I had dinner with friends at La Braceria Soleti. Unfortunately, it was a decidedly negative experience. The day after eating the meat served by them, both I and the other diners had serious health problems: vomiting, stomach ache and digestive difficulties that lasted for three days. Although the atmosphere was welcoming, the quality of the food turned out to be unacceptable, with obvious consequences on our health. I absolutely do not recommend this place and I invite the managers to review their procedures to guarantee greater food safety for customers.
