17/08/2024: The sea is beautiful but the beach is below expectations. The place is evidently neglected, with dirt near the umbrellas, such as old cigarette butts. Prices not proportionate to the quality of the service and accessible for free. I highly recommend positioning yourself on the very large rocky part located next to the lido area. Cost for 2 sunbeds and 1 umbrella for a day is 40 euros

27/08/2024: La particolarità di questo locale, per quanto attiene al servizio a pranzo, è sicuramente la posizione logistica. Si trova limitrofo a un lido e quindi siamo su una delle spiagge presenti a Monopoli. Premetto che sono un assiduo frequentatore di questo locale, che nell'ultimo decennio di attività, ahimè ha sicuramente affrontato un percorso non proprio sereno e propizio per una continuità di prestazioni a favore della clientela. Il suo nome era sicuramente adeguato alla bontà estrema che il primo principe offerto e cioè spaghetti con le cozze, era riuscito a raggiungere. Come anche la assoluta linearità nell'offerta, che appunto oltre allo spaghetto con le cozze, offriva alla clientela, altri due primi di notevole fattura e qualità. Bene ho assaggiato nuovamente non lo spaghetto ma il tagliolino allo scoglio e qui forse per mantenere un adeguato prezzo sotto il profilo economico, si è persa qualcosina per quanto attiene la qualità. Gli antipasti sono tipici di una trattoria sul mare e forse andrebbero completati e aggiornati come offerta. I secondi sono quasi esclusivamente di pesce, ma anche qualche proposta di carne, è presente. La parte finale dessert e/o frutta è più che allineata alle aspettative. In conclusione il locale dovrebbe essere di nuovo coinvolto in una fase di crescita e di entusiasmo, anche in considerazione dell'altisonante nome che lo contraddistingue e che ribadisco tempo addietro rendeva chiara giustizia a chi dirigeva, e ahimè, non è più l'anima, la mente e le braccia di questo ristorante, a seguito di un triste evento. Dai ragazzi maggiore entusiasmo e il bello deve ancora arrivare, magari è proprio qui dietro l'angolo.

27/08/2024: Tagliolini allo scoglio stupefacenti, sugosi e molto abbondanti. Poi abbiamo ordinato una frittura mista davvero buona. Piatti estremamente buoni. Servizio gentile e amichevole, abbiamo aspettato il pranzo in entro 5 minuti perché abbiamo prenotato. Location semplice e curata. Consigliatissimo

At the end of our dinner, we asked for the bill, nothing happened for 15 minutes, then another waiter came up to us indignantly asking us to ask for something or to leave and we told him that we had already asked for the bill 15 minutes ago, without giving any answer he turned around and brought it out. 19/05/2024: There is a huge amount of pizzas and panini to choose from, and with a very good price. Ordered pizzas were done by the chef very fast, and he was also very kind and friendly. I had a huge amount of ingredients on my pizza so it was not plain at all.

25/08/2024: My daughter and I went there twice and we really appreciated the atmosphere, the location is very minimal, but the view of the sea and part of the old city is worth it. The food was fresh and delicious, they brought us a dessert created that day by the chef. We were very happy with it. We recommend it to everyone. 🍷🍷

20/08/2024: Il Ristorante ha mantenuto il livello alto come l'ultima volta che ci sono stato. Offre un’autentica cucina italiana anche a base di pesce, con un'atmosfera semplice e accogliente, la vista mare è unica, ideale anche per una cena in famiglia. I piatti sono deliziosi. In particolare ho assaporato le Mezzelune crostacei e burrata, un piatto perfetto per chi ama i sapori delicati dei crostacei. Non ho dubbi: tornerò presto. Grazie a chi dietro le quinte si impegna per realizzare tanta bontà.

01/09/2024: Let's start with the fact that skyrocketing prices for a tray of chips cost 7.00 euros, are we kidding? Food pessimism not to mention the cutting board with the cured meats that leaked detergent with the tail still nearby! Very salty pizzas! Reheated French fries!

01/09/2024: Classic place for tourists with high prices. We got some pizzas which, although light based, were not very dissimilar to a frozen pizza. There are no tablecloths at the table but only paper placemats. They also charged our daughter a cover charge (€3) because we asked for an empty plate for her.
