01/10/2025: A very welcoming location, extremely professional staff, so much so that the preparation and individual ingredients were explained for each dish. From the appetizers onward, it was a crescendo of quality and the discovery of unique flavors. Dishes were carefully prepared, beautifully choreographed (like the caravella di salumi), and undoubtedly with passion. From the creamy ricotta to the excellent warm seafood salad, and then on to the first courses, the "maritati" pasta with sausage and mushrooms and the spaghetti all'assassina. And... last but not least, the dessert... unforgettable. Typical local dishes but with distinctive flavors not easily found in other restaurants.
We discovered that the owner, a former butcher, is a culinary perfectionist with great passion, a combination that allows him to create dishes with unique flavors.

The owner kindly welcomed us, didn't give us the menu, and said he would take care of us.
We were able to sample many delicious local dishes at a very reasonable price. Thank you for your hospitality.

07/09/2025: A pleasant and relaxing evening with the family. I chose the restaurant on the recommendation of friends and based on old childhood memories. The atmosphere was pleasant...good menu selection...and reasonable prices. Delicious first courses...and a good selection of wines. The only downside was the grilled meat. Very little and overcooked. I would recommend...being from Gioia and familiar with the quality of the meat...improving the quantity and cooking. It would add a touch of quality to the whole thing. Overall, good. Recommended.

09/10/2025: Delicious meat at truly reasonable prices. The meatballs in sauce are fabulous, and you can really taste the meat. Olives and tarallini are also delicious, and are complimentary on the house. The staff is also very friendly.
22/09/2025: The meat is excellent, from carpaccio to bombette, panzerotto, grilled meat, and meat in sauce—in short, everything is delicious. We've been coming back several times a year for many years now. A warm welcome from Mr. Diego and his wife. Highly recommended.

18/10/2025: I'm not commenting, I'm just saying that the owner should be hit on the head with chairs and tables for the way he behaved, there is!!! In a pizza topping that you didn't get, he makes you pay for it anyway!! We're kidding!! Then you ask him if it's fair and he looks like an idiot and replies "yes" while laughing!! One star is even too much!!! 🔥

14/10/2025: We had dinner on Saturday evening, making a reservation for 8:45 PM (specifying a table inside) via the dedicated app.
Unfortunately, despite this being our third dinner at this pizzeria, I can't give it more than 4 stars because, upon arrival, we waited until 9:20 PM for the table outside, in a gazebo covered with plastic sheets. It was freezing cold, and the stove was broken! The pizza and sandwich arrived at 10:22 PM.
We nibbled a bit and left because we were two popsicles!
No complaints about the quality of the pizza—excellent ingredients and a very light and tasty dough—but the wait, and especially the cold, ruined the evening! We didn't get to enjoy our dinner; in fact, we ate half a portion and took the rest away in a takeout box! Unfortunately, you can't sit in the cold for over an hour. I hope next time, if there is one, they'll pay more attention to their customers!
12/10/2025: While on vacation in Puglia near Gioia del Colle, we found this pizzeria truly interesting. Numerous pizzas with a choice of dough, high-quality ingredients, starting with mozzarella or burrata, sourced directly from local dairies. Simple but attentive service. We enjoyed the platter filled with local specialties and pizzas. Very good value for money. I highly recommend it, especially for the wood-fired oven.

09/10/2025: We went to this place last night for the first time. Everything was perfect, from the service to the atmosphere. Not to mention the quality of the food served.
21/09/2025: Decent food. Service needs work:
A bit grumpy, sometimes annoyed, they use bad humor toward the customers at the table, and the waits are truly endless.
You can wait up to two hours
for your entree. At the cash register, the owner harasses those paying with American Express in a not-so-subtle manner, irritably taking his disappointment out on the customer. Very bad; real commerce is something else entirely.

26/07/2025: We were there last night. The smell was terrible, perhaps from broken sewage treatment plants in nearby businesses. The service was slow, with difficulty calling the waiters. The pizzas arrived very late and with errors. And to top it off, a band that didn't explain anything to us. It was a shame we had a family reunion. It was a really bad night. I asked for the bill, and it arrived after half an hour because I went to pick it up and it was ready there.
