05/09/2025: We ate dinner in a magnificent, traffic-free square, and that alone would probably be worth the 5-star rating. But we must add that we ate truly deliciously. Special mention goes to the almond and fig spumone at the end of the meal, as well as the vegetable appetizer. Thanks especially to the ladies at the service: truly kind and cheerful. A true pleasure to dine here (even for our children).

01/06/2025: We're not there at all. I have it under my house, but I haven't gone there since they've shown 4 times that they can't give customers a standard product. If I go to a place, to eat a pizza, to eat a dessert, to have a coffee, I go there because I KNOW in advance what I'm going to eat and pay for. But if you get a Sicilian cannolo with orange peel for 3 euros and the next time you want it, your partner goes to get it for you and comes back with a fried cannolo with ricotta and sugar inside without anything else, no, I don't like it anymore and the price is exaggerated. If you make me pay 1.30 for a croissant and when I go to get it they tell me that with black cherry it costs more and I have to pay the difference... the next time they tell me that everything costs the same... the time after that they tell me that it costs more with berries... you don't even know what price is attributable to what and why. If I sit down with other people to have a coffee and YOU SERVE other tables that arrived later WELL FIRST and my coffee after almost 30 minutes still hasn't arrived, you shouldn't be surprised if we get up and leave. You have the name but certainly not the professionalism, but not by a long shot.

01/06/2025: Excellent croissant and coffee, today I didn't have water with my coffee even though I asked for it, and one thing that bothers me is that they let dogs of any size in, considering that I love animals but in my opinion they should stay outside

20/08/2025: A wonderful experience in this unique place. The bar is splendid. A wonderful welcome. The cuisine is refined. I finished with pistachio ice cream. I highly recommend it.

19/08/2025: A restaurant located not far from Monopoli's historic center, where quality and courtesy are paramount. I went last night and was greeted by a very polite and friendly waiter. The wait was short, and we ordered delicious delicacies. Excellent desserts, the best in the area. Fresh, high-quality ingredients. Elegant and clean place.

20/08/2025: Let me start by saying that it was the only place we found a table at, and I understand why... decent food, very nice location, but terrible staff!!! We were welcomed, and after 15 minutes they hadn't brought us the menu, they came to take our order, I pointed this out and I was again rudely told that he wasn't coming to take our order... we went to pay, after a long wait for a first course, they told us that we had to stay at the table to wait for the bill with two small children!!! The overall service really needs to be reviewed!!!!!

14/09/2025: Very friendly and helpful hosts, accommodating, even though the restaurant was actually fully booked, they even prepared a table for me. I had a very good starter (bacala) and an equally good pasta con cozze. A swirl of Chardonnay Pugliese was also included. Thank you very much, I would love to come back!

11/09/2025: Despite the refined cuisine, the wait is interminable. No dessert offered... too bad! Even to pay, we had to wait for the owner (who favors his friends), with his haughty air, to make us pay...that's a long wait, all that for a plate of pasta...thankfully good! Still a lot of work to be done on the service!! Move on by 😠

20/08/2025: Terrible experience, I'll never go back. Despite the fact that I repeatedly stated on the phone that we were five adults with a 9-month-old baby, they kicked us out because, according to that RUDE lifeguard, we were a "camp." They could have already assigned us two umbrellas instead of one when we booked (not knowing the size of the umbrellas). P.S. Hire good people and put friendliness first.

13/05/2025: This is the second time we have returned to Antica Casina di Caccia and once again it has won us over. We started with a platter of Tuscan cheeses, rich and tasty, and continued with the crispy Cinta Senese pork, an absolute delight. Each course exudes quality and authenticity. To accompany it, we chose a Nobile di Montepulciano di Poliziano, which married wonderfully with the flavors of the lunch. The atmosphere is warm and relaxing, perfect for a leisurely lunch, with barely audible background music. The staff was impeccable: attentive, professional and always smiling and made sure we lacked nothing. We will be back very soon!

15/08/2025: We venture into the center of Carovigno during a festive week, unfortunately surrounded by incredible cacophony. Fortunately, we dine at Caminetto, which offers simple, homemade, yet tasty dishes. The atmosphere is simple yet quiet, with good service. I was able to relax and enjoy the evening away from the chaos. I will definitely be back.

14/08/2025: Osteria Al Caminetto is located at Via Regina Margherita 11, in the heart of Carovigno's historic center, just steps from the Dentice di Frasso castle—a convenient and central location. The restaurant is cozy, intimate, homey, and slightly rustic—perfect for those who appreciate authenticity, but inevitably means limited seating. The cuisine is definitely the heart of the place: homemade, generous dishes, faithful to Apulian tradition: orecchiette with turnip tops, tagliolini with scampi, a house antipasto with over 15 courses, a large fried fish platter, snails, mixed roast meats, and much more. Prices are more than fair, generally between €20 and €30 per person, with appetizers around €14 and seafood/meat main courses between €9 and €11. Numerous reviews praise the excellent value for money: "Sincere cuisine, with local products cooked divinely according to tradition." "The cuisine is excellent, and the value for money is the restaurant's strong point." 30/08/2025: The food is too expensive for what's on offer. I won't add anything else. The service: the waiters are kind and helpful, but it's unpleasant to have to wait several minutes for all the dishes to arrive. It would be nice to be able to start eating together. Unfortunately, it's not worth a second visit.

28/08/2025: Everything was perfect. Excellent dinner in a welcoming and peaceful atmosphere. Kindness and professionalism reign supreme. Excellent value for money. Exceptional food quality, refined yet simple flavors. A truly positive experience. Recommended for everyone.

28/08/2025: I dined alone last night. Despite the crowd, I was served and treated with care (something that's very difficult in other places when you're alone). Friendly and helpful staff. Excellent quality of meat, excellent menu, excellent selection of beers and wines. Prices are average and in line with the quality. I'll be back.

24/08/2025: We went there this evening at our children's suggestion. Beautiful location, excellent food, perfectly warmed sandwiches, top-quality burgers, friendly and attentive staff, all very kind. Fair prices.
