19/06/2025: Just like at home! A customer here for over 30 years. The bruschetta and house appetizer are a must, then you are torn between choosing between an excellent mixed roast or a homemade cordon bleu! Tried the fried food and what can I say? Excellent Domenico and the lady assisted by their son are a guarantee of friendliness and professionalism! The chefs in the kitchen deserve praise!

My only suggestion (I hope it's implemented) would be to see the wording "Wood-fired oven" written on both the sign and the product labels, but Mr. Piero is absorbed in his work and less in communication. Perhaps he takes this type of baking for granted, which is a tradition here, but requires a great deal of dedication and dedication from those who make it and shouldn't be underestimated. However, I think it's worth highlighting. Everyone in the area knows about it, but there are also tourists, and for them, it could help them better understand and appreciate the effort that goes into the baked goods.

08/09/2025: Anyone visiting Barletta can't miss lunch or dinner at Maadhoo. My heartfelt thanks to Chef Antonio, who delivered the best of himself with the dishes I ordered: trofie with creamed zucchini, mushrooms, sun-dried tomatoes, and grated lemon—exceptional. The sliced ​​beef entrecote with salad, cherry tomatoes, arugula, and parmesan was superb!

08/09/2025: We were at this restaurant just this evening and had a truly wonderful time. From the very courteous and attentive wait staff, to the youthful and well-kept atmosphere, to the truly exquisite food. Very fair prices. Highly recommended!

20/07/2025: Visited with my partner and had a great evening! The food was so tasty - amazing pasta dishes!! We also found the service to be very good. The staff were super friendly, very attentive and we were supplied with plenty of limoncello to finish off a good evening! Would definitely recommend to those visiting Lecce. We had a fabulous time.

15/06/2025: Nel cuore del centro storico di Grottaglie un'ottima realtà culinaria.Bella atmosfera, piatti della tradizione rivisitati senza stravolgimenti utilizzando prodotti di prima qualità, il tutto sostenuto da una apprezzata e dettagliata presentazione dei piatti da parte dello staff e dello chef....e non poteva finire che con il piatto "all'assassina " con esaltazione della qualità e dei sapori...grazie! Da ritornarci!

22/02/2025: Barletta, February 21, 2025 – Last Friday, former students of Section B of the Barletta State Industrial Technical Institute, who attended the school between 1976 and 1981, gathered for a reunion. This brought together 17 former classmates, now adults, with diverse backgrounds and life paths, yet united by a common thread: youthful memories and shared experiences at school. The event, organized with great enthusiasm by a group of former students, took place at the restaurant "Il fornaio dei mulini vecchi," a place where the dinner was wonderful, and I extend my heartfelt thanks for their hospitality and splendid organization. Everyone who attended was delighted and visibly appreciative. This contributed to creating a magical atmosphere, already charged with emotion, with warm hugs and smiles lighting up the faces of those who hadn't seen each other for decades.

03/09/2025: We were there last night, a beautiful and quiet place, very friendly and knowledgeable staff, the surprise of the house was wonderful to find the owner's dog who played with us keeping us company. I recommend it to all people who love good food and especially animals.

14/08/2025: Terrible service. We ordered pizzas at 9:00 PM and they arrived at 10:30 PM. The fries still haven't arrived at 11:00 PM, when I'm writing this review. The pizza, by the way, wasn't even worth the wait. Other diners ordered various fish dishes, and some of them even complained that the fish wasn't clean and wasn't of the best quality. The only positive thing was the location. I have nothing to complain about that, but otherwise, I was completely disappointed.

04/08/2025: I celebrated my 50th birthday and was not at all satisfied! From the lousy seafood appetizer to the poor service! Seven waiters to serve 30 people! The tables were dirty from start to finish; we asked three waiters for water, and it arrived 30 minutes later. By the time the cake was served, the table was covered in dirty napkins, empty bottles, and sauce packets everywhere. When we asked for an explanation, we were told they were tired and that it can happen... 7 waiters and 50 people in the dining room, including a manager who didn't show up once to ask how the dinner was going. Terrible experience.

15/08/2025: Disappointed not by the food but by our reservation, I requested a table on the seafront. I was told when I made the reservation that it was based on arrivals... When I arrived, there was room on the seafront, and we were seated at the cash register 😡 Luckily, the service was great! We asked for à la carte, and they offered us several menus, even though when I asked at the reservation, they had told us it was à la carte anyway, don't worry! They didn't respect everything they had originally stated when we made the reservation. In short, they saw us coming... There were 6 of us, the quantities were enormous!!! They know tourists well, be careful! We weren't given prices for the menus... That's not cool of them! I won't go back there anymore, not because it was bad—quite the opposite, in fact—but because of the lack of respect for my table and the lack of respect for not keeping their word about the price! And their menu! That's not fair of them! In any case, the servers are great!
