We had dinner on a Thursday night. There was a wide selection of bombette, for sure... and the rest was like so many others. They didn't have baked potatoes or fries as a side, so we only had meat for dinner. Slow service (but not the waiters' fault). A bit disorganized. The bombette were very good. The place was still very busy with people for dinner.

Whenever I come to Taranto (my home), I have to stop by. The quality of the meat is consistently excellent. I'd also add the lovely atmosphere and friendly, fast staff. I'll definitely be back.

Excellent variety of meats. I dined at the restaurant in the center of Taranto. The ingredients are rich and varied. Highlights: The Bombette and livers are top-notch: these great Apulian classics are flavorful and cooked to perfection. Tasty breading: both the breaded chicken and the breaded Angus beef were tender and crispy. Side dishes: both the baked potatoes and the French fries were hot, flavorful, and not greasy.

30/04/2026: The meal was excellent. We weren't expecting such refined cuisine, especially since we stumbled upon it by chance during an unplanned evening in Grado. From the appetizers onward, we realized that even the great classics are prepared with special attention to flavors and textures. The boreto (veal stew) is highly recommended, truly exceptional, and the gnocchi with asparagus and shrimp are highly recommended: crispy asparagus, perfectly cooked, and a truly special flavor. A remarkable restaurant, authentic and not at all touristy.
28/04/2026: An elegant and discreet restaurant on Grado's pedestrian street. I dined at the outdoor tables: I ordered the monkfish at the waiter's recommendation, which was truly delicious. The grilled octopus appetizer with potatoes was also delicious. I would have liked to try the gnocchi with asparagus and scallops, or the fish soup, and the chocolate cake, but unfortunately they weren't available in a gluten-free version. Packaged gluten-free bread and breadsticks are available. Professional and knowledgeable staff.
