21/05/2025: La mia esperienza presso questa struttura è stata molto positiva..dolci di buona qualità, vaietá infinita per tutti i gusti. Personale con il sorriso...e disponibile (non sempre scontato in locali con una alta mole il lavoro) ,prezzi non più alti di tante località turistiche...

13/05/2025: Premetto che in qst gelateria ci andavamo spesso e l'ultima volta era stata la domenica prima del 1 maggio. Mente facevo la fila x i gelati, mio marito e mio figlio di 3 anni erano seduti al tavolino e una cameriera è stata urtata da una imbecille (che poi se la rideva) e ha rovesciato un'intera coppa di gelato sulla schiena di mio figlio e sul passeggino. Un disastro, ma ci siamo seduti a mangiare il gelato...poco dopo un'altra cameriera ci ha detto che i tavoli erano solo per la consumazione (come se i gelati non li avessi pagati!). Le ho detto che non soltanto ci avevano gettato il gelato addosso, ma che ci stavano pure cacciando. Ci siamo alzati, mio figlio con il gelato ancora da finire, passeggino sporchissimo. Ovviamente racconterò a tutti l'accaduto e non torneremo mai più lì. Qll in foto è la giacca di mio figlio, lavata 2 volte, che dovrò portare in lavanderia e pagare di tasca mia

29/07/2025: Siamo venuti dal nord in vacanza e siamo andati a mangiare con amici nella serata della pizzica. Cibo misero e con obbligo di menù fisso nella serata organizzata . Poca chiarezza sul menù e sulla scelta delle pizze limitata ad un tot di pizze ogni due persone . Ci è stato detto di essere puntuali alla prenotazione ( ore 21:00) e il primo cameriere si è avvicinato al tavolo un ora e mezzo dopo solo chiamati da noi . Camerieri non tutti molto disponibili e un po’ scocciati nel servirti . Peccato per il locale che posso dire essere l’unica nota positiva di questo locale molto caratteristico.

26/07/2025: Cena con degli amici, menù da 25 euro, arriviamo e ci viene detto che ci tocca una pizza ogni 2 persone quando nel menù c'era scritto in linea generica pizze al centro. Povera di antipasti. Signore alla cassa completamente scortese, non ritornerò mai piu.

21/04/2025: Leckeres preiswertes Essen ,sehr freundlicher Service in einem kleinen Örtchen in der Nähe von Lecce. Wir haben uns rundum wohl gefühlt.

21/11/2025: On a Sunday in November, passing through Peschici, we stopped at this restaurant for lunch. The location has a touch of '80s flair, with a beautiful little balcony overlooking the entire village. We ordered a first course, which was good but a bit too oily, and a well-prepared sea bass. The bill was fair and the service was prompt.

10/09/2025: The service was a bit arrogant and ambiguous, from the waiter's rude irony when asked for directions to the stairs: "They're right there, it seems pretty obvious..." (... never mind, we were happy to joke about it, but in any case, you never know how the person in front of you will take it, and this therefore denotes unprofessional service), to the advice of the waitress who recommended the orecchiette instead of the spaghetti with clams on the menu, calling it "a garlic and oil pasta with clams and nothing more"... (very strange to speak badly of a dish on the menu that you yourself propose... Perhaps the real purpose was to guide us towards choices that would be more convenient for the kitchen staff at that moment? Moral of the story: I feel like I'm being mocked.) For the rest, aside from the high amount of oil in the troccoli allo scoglio, the food was good and the pasta was homemade to perfection. The location is exceptional, of course, which perhaps inflates the prices a bit, although they are in line with other restaurants in the area. Unfortunately, however, for the reasons listed above, it is not a place I would recommend or return to.

02/09/2025: Classic pizzas, not bad flavor. Dated location, slow and inattentive service. Outside restrooms, accessible via a path lined with unkempt plants. Prices are average, but overall, it's good enough to return.

31/08/2025: Terrible, the wait was just over two hours for pizzas, and the place wasn't even full. The service was disorganized, I saw people falling asleep on the tables waiting... totally disgusting, don't go there and you'll save your evening.

27/10/2025: Cala Marin Bar was a huge disappointment. It's the bar attached to the lido, so you'd expect slightly higher prices than average, but what's truly disappointing is the poor quality of the food served. The food offering is very limited, and what little there is is sloppily prepared and poorly executed. We tried a few items on the menu, and unfortunately, almost everything was inedible. Dry sandwiches, less-than-fresh ingredients, and no attention to presentation or flavor. Everything seemed prepackaged and hastily reheated, with no regard for the final quality. The price-to-service ratio was simply unacceptable. The only positive exception was the rustico leccese, which at €3 was at least decent compared to the rest. However, one decent item isn't enough to save the overall experience. The service is slow and inattentive, with long waits even when there are no customers. Cala Marin Bar seems to thrive solely on its location, but it's completely lacking in attention and professionalism. I don't recommend it, and I don't think we'll return. There are much better options in the area.

21/09/2025: We visited a beachside bar in Italy as a group of six gay friends, and unfortunately, we had a very unpleasant experience. When we ordered tequila with salt and lime, the waiter realized we were gay and made a rather offensive remark, saying that “salt and lime is a lady’s thing, not for men.” He then refused to bring the accompaniments we asked for. This kind of attitude is unacceptable and shows a level of prejudice we did not expect to encounter. So here’s a heads-up to other LGBTQIA+ customers looking for a welcoming environment: sadly, this place did not treat us with the respect everyone deserves.

25/09/2025: The first stop upon arrival at the Tremiti Islands... Prices are reasonable for a tourist spot...

18/09/2025: The food was acceptable for the price, the tomatoes on the focaccia were still cold. They seemed like they weren't expecting guests. I liked the seagull that was living close by.

30/03/2025: I walked in at 9:00 PM with enthusiasm...but it faded after 40 minutes waiting for my order. First of all, the place wasn't busy. They'd do well to call "nightmare kitchens" to fix the situation. It's a shame; in the '90s it was a hotbed of entertainment, now it's a nursing home. At 11:45 PM, my ordered sandwich hadn't arrived.

17/09/2025: We have family on the island and know the food and service, which is standard here. Here in this restaurant you get some of the worst and unfriendly service, coupled with bad food and completely exorbitant prices! The waiters are grumpy and the head waiter has better things to do than look after the guests. He prefers to lean in front of the entrance with his smartphone and watch videos. When we didn't want a starter because our little daughter was simply overtired and hungry, Mannins pointed out that we would have to wait because the pasta took the longest for her. After about 45 minutes we were finally served our food; at that time the restaurant only had three tables occupied. The absolute worst were the restrooms. Filthy, smelly and completely unhygienic. If there were 0 stars they would be more appropriate. A clear flop, even if guests are lured into the restaurant in English beforehand. Stay away if you don't want to feel sick to your stomach afterwards.

03/08/2025: Invited to enter by the bouncer after asking if it was possible to order a pasta dish off the menu, he made us sit down, assuring us that there would be no problems. Immediately after sitting down, we ordered the dish off the menu from the waitress, which was a simple pasta with garlic, oil and chili pepper. She told us that she wasn't sure they could prepare it and asked us to wait a moment while she would go and ask in the kitchen. After waiting more than 20 minutes and notifying another waiter of the problem, we received no response, so I decided to approach the person who seemed to be the owner and ask for an explanation. In addition to being rude, he personally came to take the order, treating us as if we were idiots and insisting on ordering unwanted appetizers and unwanted drinks in an impolite manner. Although the portions are relatively generous, the prices are absurd, especially for cover charge and water. I would never recommend this terrible experience to anyone.
