16/06/2025: Costi spropositati in relazione a qualità del cibo e servizio offerto. Calici e bicchieri di odore cattivo ad inizio cena, segno di scarsa igiene, crudo di pesce totalmente da evitare. Recatevi altrove, Bari è meravigliosa validissime alternative anche più centrali e a prezzi onesti.

08/07/2025: We stayed at this property for work. The owner was very kind and helpful, welcoming us courteously and making us feel at ease. The rooms are large and comfortable enough, but overall the property could use a little more attention. It's not the best, but it's not bad either: for a short stay, it's more than adequate.

24/10/2025: Great Italian restaurant. Service was outstanding. We actually wanted to order pizza. The waiter said he'd bring us something better. And several plates with different dishes arrived. It was a feast and incredibly tasty.
A very nice surprise from the staff.
We'd be happy to come back anytime.
06/10/2025: The pizza is okay...nothing remarkable, but you'll find much better in town...just look for reviews on Google and you'll be better served elsewhere...because here it's a barracks! You arrive, they might serve you what you ordered if they want, they yell at you or look at you badly as soon as you make a comment, you eat if you want otherwise it's the same, then you pay and get out! What a totally disrespectful attitude towards customers! Goodbye!

19/08/2025: A place with stellar potential, but poorly managed. No table service, average €4 packaged ice cream, unappealing sandwiches, and a lack of everything at the tables (no napkins or sugar for coffee).

11/10/2024: Needed a quick stop for a sandwich and a salad, and found this place brought along the waterfront. Everything was fine. The food was good. The beer was cold. The only problem I know that they cannot control all the stinking flies.
09/10/2024: Great location, terrible food. We had two chicken salads - and even that simplest of dish was off. Chicken tasted dry and double fried, watery salad felt straight out a supermarket bag. One of those places that seemingly don’t put any effort on what they serve you.

11/10/2025: At 11:05 we had four coffees and a croissant for a total of €20.00. SHAMEFUL!!!!!!! Terrible service. There were five of us, we paid €2 each for a coffee and a croissant from Algida. 1. The terrace area didn't say it was a restaurant. 2. We didn't use the bathroom. 3. We didn't see any menu.

24/07/2025: Sono stato portato in questo ristorante da amici del posto, non essendo di Taranto, con l’idea di assaggiare un piatto tipico della zona e vivere un’esperienza autentica. Purtroppo, è stata una grande delusione.
Nonostante ci fossero pochi tavoli occupati, il servizio è stato inspiegabilmente lento: abbiamo aspettato a lungo per ricevere i piatti. Nessuno si è premurato di darci spiegazioni o attenzioni particolari, il personale sembrava anche “scocciato”..
Il cibo era buono, ma le porzioni erano davvero misere, specialmente la frittura, che è arrivata scarsa e poco soddisfacente.
Un vero peccato, perché il locale ha potenziale e una buona posizione, ma l’organizzazione e la gestione del servizio vanno sicuramente migliorate.
11/07/2025: Ottimo ristorante di pesce nel cuore pulsante di Taranto vecchia; mangiato spaghettoni con vongole , risotto pesce e patate e pacchetti pescatora ecc eccellenti. Poco come punteggio debbo dire quando invece sono eccellenti e anche molto servizievoli. 5 pallini per me. Fermatevi ci sono anche i menu

23/08/2025: I had dinner here and ordered a grilled vegetable sandwich for €7.50. However, I noticed that the weight of the ingredients wasn't specified on the menu. The sandwich was good, but too small for the price. Unfortunately, after eating it, I was even hungrier than before! It would be helpful if the weight of the ingredients were listed on the menu to give a better idea of the quality-price ratio. Overall, the service was good, but I hope they can improve the product descriptions on the menu.
I paid too much for what I ate.

09/10/2025: The place is small and there's only one bathroom for both men and women. The menu was very disappointing; the first courses were bland, and the second courses were minimal (there was a small sausage, a tiny piece of meat, and a tiny piece of lamb).
25/09/2025: We stopped to eat the tourist menu for 20 euros, terrible quality of products, inedible first courses and poor quality roast...absolutely avoid...years ago it was decent...now it's awful

The location is very nice and very quiet. Fresh food and excellent service. We went late last night, and despite everything, they seated us and served us. The staff were incredibly kind and polite.
Highly recommended for anyone looking for a quiet evening.

The Angus ribeye was watery, small, and tasteless. It was just thrown onto the plate with a bit of cheap bagged salad (not even dressed). The pizza wasn't cooked properly. And we were served at different times: the meat first, and the children, who had ordered pizzas, much later. So, we faced a dilemma: do we eat it hot and alone, or cold together? That said, we had to wait five minutes for the meat to cool down before we could get salt and olive oil. Unfortunately, we didn't read the reviews beforehand, otherwise we wouldn't have gone. We were fooled by the facade and the decor. So, avoid this place!
