05/03/2026: Overall, I recommend trying the gratinated shrimp and the mixed fried fish. Unfortunately, over time, the quality/price ratio has become a bit unbalanced, as is the case with many other places in this area, to the detriment of both locals and the many tourists. The service could be improved a bit, but it remains one of the best options in the area.

25/02/2026: Really interesting pizzas, new and with a wide variety of options (suitable for all palates). The outside location is a bit cold (even though they had "mushrooms" and "couvertures"). The service is a bit slow; we waited over an hour just for appetizers. Overall, though, it's a place we'll return to.

06/01/2026: I've been frequenting Locanda dei Duchi for years and have known it practically forever. My father has known the owner for a very long time, and this has made the inn a familiar place for me since I was little: I've even been there to celebrate New Year's Eve several times. Over the past ten years, however, I've returned especially in the summer, drawn by the outdoor tables that offer a spectacular view, all the way to Castel del Monte. The restaurant is immersed in nature, quiet and rustic, perfectly integrated into the Alta Murgia National Park. You immediately feel the tranquility of the Apulian countryside, and the atmosphere is authentic and welcoming. The staff is friendly, attentive, and helpful, ready to make every visit a pleasant one. The true strength of Locanda dei Duchi is the cuisine: rustic, authentic, and flavorful. From the appetizers, including focaccia and typical dishes, to the pizzas, always excellent and accompanied by the house wine, every dish reflects the authentic flavors of Apulian tradition. I return every year and will continue to return, because it's a place that combines tradition, nature, and authentic flavors, with a familiar and welcoming atmosphere that stays in your heart. Highly recommended. 🌿🍷🍕

19/12/2025: We arrived at lunch time, the place was closed at this time of the year (open on weekends only), but Joseppe was so kind and welcomed us in, he prepared for us his amazing focccia and more delicious food!!! And the wine was fantastic…Don’t miss this authentic Italian restaurant if you are in the area❤️

20/10/2025: I'd say the food is more than good, but the girl serving seems truly unwelcoming. It's clear she knows her stuff professionally, and perhaps experience or personal events have toughened her character; but it's still a public service job, and courtesy remains a strong point of a successful company.

19/09/2025: The worst experience ever... Our server looked miserable the entire time. It was too obvious he did Not want to be there 🤦🏻. We literally had to flag him down every time we needed anything (ie. Order olives, bread, a drink, etc.) For dinner we ordered the Lobster. Take a look at my shell... Yes, almost empty, and so was my wife's... As if they kept half of the tail meat for something else 🤦🏻. The pasta was waaaay undercooked, and the whole thing looked like a Pomodoro Soup 🤦🏻... Never again...
