18/10/2025: Our pizzas were delicious and very juicy. Perfect mix of to tomato and cheese. Price was super fair around or even less than 10€ per pizza.

14/09/2025: A wonderful place to enjoy local meats, the famous Apulian bombette, and Martina Franca capocollo. Excellent value for money. Warm welcome. Recommended if you're in Martina Franca.

25/09/2025: We stopped for a lunch snack. The restaurant is in a small square overlooking the entrance to the old town, not crowded with tourists, allowing for a quiet outdoor seating. We ate delicious pucce and frise, neither excellent nor infamous. Service was quick. The price was reasonable; there were three of us. We had pucce, frise, water, and coffee, and spent €17 in total.

10/09/2025: We had breakfast and coffee there almost every day. The service was excellent, and the dishes were very good. I don’t understand the negative reviews. They also speak English without any problem. For me, it was definitely worth visiting.

11/08/2025: Tonight I enjoyed the service and friendliness of the young people who work at the Bar del Centro. With their lighthearted approach, they transformed a simple drink into a moment of pure fun. I'll definitely be happy to return to repeat the wonderful experience, happy to have met the two girls and the boy. P.S. The crepes are delicious and light.

Pranzo ottimo : carrellata di antipasti di mare molto varia e ricca, crudo di ottima qualità, i primi degni della fama dello chef, Maurizio Felice si conferma il numero uno in cucina, dovunque lui vada innovazione e gusto li ritrovi in ogni piatto suggerito. Complimenti allo chef Maurizio e a tutto il suo staff. Angolo Blu consigliatissimo.

22/10/2025: We were in this very welcoming location last Saturday, retro style, nice atmosphere, we ate very well... the food was quality despite it being a fixed menu... the price was right... we will definitely be back.

06/09/2025: The tranquil and relaxing atmosphere so characteristic of this place is actually a decoy. On Friday evening, September 5th, we dined here. There were three of us, and my mother, my sister, and I wanted to spend a quiet evening catching up and chatting. We had dined here a few times before, and the atmosphere was always extremely peaceful, with incredibly courteous and helpful staff, all accompanied by very high-quality food, much higher in quality than other places. However, on September 6th, something completely inconceivable happened, which made us decide to never set foot in Guagliò again. The place didn't have any windows that day; the interior and exterior were practically interconnected, and you could enter and exit from any point. You can imagine the structure as a sort of gazebo, where the indoor area (which is closed during the winter) would be the area under the gazebo, and the outdoor area would be a sort of garden with tables in the center. We were dining in the hypothetical outdoor area (the garden) in a completely tranquil atmosphere, when suddenly we heard a terrible din... children (there must have been about five) emerge from the hedges of the garden, screaming at the top of their lungs and running wildly between the tables. After being practically startled by the sudden screams of two of the five children, we watched them cross the entire restaurant from outside to inside, virtually undisturbed. We then saw these children linger near the restaurant, continuing to run through it, laughing blissfully for about ten minutes. I don't believe these children were the children of any of Guagliò's customers, as they didn't actually interact with any of the other customers. At a certain point, they moved so far away that they seemed to have disappeared... so we realized they were most likely coming from outside the premises. However, after having disappeared for about 20 minutes, they reappeared from the same hedge and repeated those sudden, ear-splitting shrieks, running back across the entire premises as if it were their playground. All this occurred with the total and utter indifference of the owner and his staff, who in fact seemed to act as if they hadn't even noticed them and that it was clearly perfectly legal and completely normal. In practice, people outside, perhaps even unknown to Guagliò (in this case, five children), can enter the premises undisturbed, where they can run and scream to their heart's content as if it were their playground. Given the more refined appearance of this place, its seemingly tranquil atmosphere, and its above-average standards, we never expected to witness something like this. We certainly don't go to places like this to find an uncomfortable environment with screaming children running wild among the tables. Ultimately, we may have been unlucky that night, but the staff's total indifference to such an event is inconceivable to us. That said, if anyone reading this is looking for a quiet place to spend the evening, we would advise against this place. Its apparent tranquil and relaxing atmosphere is actually just a decoy. We certainly won't be returning. Have a nice day!

22/06/2025: Review made after three visits, two of which were 6 years apart. Excellent trattoria in the historic center of Nardò. I tried many of the dishes offered on the menu and found each one exquisite. I recommend the octopus meatballs and the cavatelli mussels and beans. The atmosphere is rustic but well-kept. If you sit on the terrace there is a high probability that a local kitten will stop by to visit you; there is a colony that seems to particularly love this place. The service is reasonably fast and the staff is extremely welcoming. A ritual stop for every time I am lucky enough to visit Salento.

18/06/2025: We were there six years ago and we returned this year for two more times! Always everything delicious, high quality cuisine and ingredients. For those in the Nardò/Porto Cesareo area it is an absolutely recommended stop for a good first course that is meat or fish. We also really appreciated the second courses and appetizers (not to mention the wine!). We will definitely return as soon as we have the chance!

21/08/2025: A pleasant discovery, unfortunately, at the end of our holiday. Generous and tasty dishes with excellent value. A panoramic location with a romantic and refined atmosphere, ideal for both couples and evenings with friends. One tip: make the most of the terrace.

14/09/2025: Paying 35 euros a day for two plates of pasta with olive oil sauce, a beer, and a Coke seems excessive to me, especially after discovering that the set menu, which was never offered to us, costs 40 euros, drinks included.

09/09/2025: A small restaurant with an outdoor veranda seating about 20-25 people, overlooking the Mola di Bari seafront. Excellent welcome: the owner welcomed us even after closing time. The food was also excellent: very fresh fish, beautifully cooked. Quick and informal service, easy-going; there are no waiters in uniform (at least not when I went, which was after closing time). Disposable cutlery, plates, and tablecloths, but I don't consider this a bad thing, quite the opposite. When I'm back in Mola di Bari, I'll definitely be back. Recommended

26/07/2025: For clarity, I'm only reviewing the atmosphere and service, as I only went for a drink. The Spritzes were good, and the service was excellent. The atmosphere is really nice for a bar, but perhaps not the best for a group of friends who also want to dine (but that's just my opinion). Recommended for a post-evening outing with friends.
