22/11/2025: It's a complete disaster. The hotel is in the middle of the highway, impossible to get anywhere on foot. The window overlooks a multitude of solar panels. You can hear everything outside in the rooms; a vacuum cleaner will wake you up at 6 a.m. We came here for the sauna and jacuzzi, but they charge 20 euros per person per hour, which is a joke. We didn't see any information about it anywhere. The photos of this hotel were probably taken 50 years ago, because this place definitely doesn't look like this. Overall, it's an old, filthy hotel. I don't recommend it.

16/11/2025: This isn't the first time we've attended the Barion Hotel for events. We've always had excellent experiences, from Maurizio's professionalism and courtesy to Elenya's smile and kindness, to Samy's impeccable, high-quality work. Especially regarding the cuisine and catering, I've complimented Granit, and I want to publicly reiterate my compliments, as my entire group noted the superior cuisine at last night's dinner. We weren't aware there had been any changes to the staff, but since everyone was so satisfied, I wanted to find out more, and indeed this new addition seems to be a significant upgrade for the entire hotel. Congratulations, and kudos to everyone I mentioned, for making our guests' experiences special!

28/10/2025: Cafe' do Mar is our favorite place in Sardinia! The food is always fresh and perfectly prepared! The Aperol Spritz tastes better nowhere else in the world! The service is always excellent, and the atmosphere is simply pure vacation! We hope we can enjoy this place many more times! 10 stars!!!

19/05/2025: This morning I made the mistake of choosing this bar to buy a takeaway croissant. Nutella croissant... a tiny, bland croissant, not even good, and not even with Nutella. A shameful €1.50. Never again.

20/09/2025: We stumbled upon this place by chance and decided to stop. The staff were so kind, even though we hadn't booked, they gave us a table with a view... and what a view!!! Excellent food, super fresh fish, what can I say... try it and believe it! 😊

02/09/2025: The hotel's location is strategic. Small and beachfront, with beach service included. The rooms are simple, like everything else. The staff is helpful and friendly. The breakfast is very basic and basic. The beach restaurant serves lunch, and the food is very good at reasonable prices. Overall, I highly recommend this hotel.

CONTRABAR in Bisceglie is a place you must try. In the heart of the old town, amidst historic walls and modern vibes, we're in an unconventional spot that transports you to the coolest and most refined side of Puglia. The mood is a perfect blend of refined old and seductive contemporary: warm lighting and retro-inspired furnishings. Here I met Gianni Dell'Olio and Francesco Di Gioia, two bartenders with an incredible background in mixology and drink engineering; they tell you every cocktail like a story, classics, twists, homemade. Just think, in 2017, these two guys first dreamed up an appetizer drink by creating Bitter Violento, and then went on to create BASTALDO, an authentically Apulian artisanal amaro made from blood orange peel and vanilla, spices, and Moscato di Trani, all perfectly blended. I even discovered that Contrabar is among the best rum bars in Italy, branded Isla de Rum, and is considered one of the top 12 national cocktail bars by Gambero Rosso. In short, it's not just any place; here we are at the apotheosis and everything else is boring.

30/04/2025: Two stars because the environment is very nice. But slow and listless service, aperitif served with a 20 minute wait (I had to ask and there were no people) without anything to tease (at least some chips). The place looked good but it was a disappointment, we definitely won't be back. Not recommended.

15/07/2025: Durante una giornata estiva a Molfetta, ci siamo fermati a pranzo al Bar Il Duomo – Panzarottificio, nel cuore del centro storico, proprio davanti alla splendida cattedrale. Eravamo in tre: io, mia moglie Valentina e la nostra piccola Gemma. Nonostante il nome faccia pensare subito ai panzerotti, il locale offre molto di più. Noi abbiamo scelto una pinsa deliziosa, con capocollo di Martina Franca e pomodorini secchi: fragrante, ben cotta, e davvero saporita. A seguire, due insalate freschissime, una con salmone affumicato e una con tartare di tonno: leggere ma ricche di gusto, perfette per una pausa estiva. Un ringraziamento speciale va a Simona, che ci ha serviti con gentilezza e simpatia, consigliandoci con attenzione e facendoci sentire subito a nostro agio. Il locale ha un’atmosfera rilassata e autentica, con alcuni tavolini all’aperto da cui si gode una vista meravigliosa sul Duomo. Una pausa pranzo semplice ma perfetta, che ci ha lasciato il sorriso. Super consigliato! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

24/06/2025: Aperitivo misero. Cocktail senza ghiaccio e imbevibile. Panzerotto buono ma nulla di che. Personale abbastanza gentile fatta eccezione del ragazzo in cassa. Di una maleducazione, arroganza e ineguatezza per questo lavoro. La vista é l' unica cosa positiva di questo posto ma per il resto c'è sicuramente di meglio. Non tornerò mai piú. Non scendo nel particolare perché potrei essere offensiva ma prima di tutto bisogna non dimenticarsi mai a casa l'educazione, e ricordarsi che se il cliente espone con i modi giusti un problema, non bisogna ridergli in faccia ma sorridere e prendere atto di aver semplicemente sbagliato in maniera costruttiva. Una stella solo per il restauro. Per tutto il resto vale 0.

12/07/2025: La Pizza è buona, fritture non artigianali, prezzi nella media. Le cameriere sono molto scostumate, recandosi al locale in pieno servizio ( ore 21:15) dicono che non ci sono tavoli liberi quando a volte è davanti ai loro occhi oppure che non si libereranno tavoli nell’arco di 30 minuti ( cosa assolutamente non vera), non è la Prima volta che accade.

08/12/2025: Friendly and professional staff, excellent set menu, I recommend this grill restaurant to those who love meat and want an authentic culinary experience.

17/11/2025: Terrible all-you-can-eat menu, only the carpaccio was good... for the rest, all the meat was super fatty, like the porchetta... 4 pieces of ribs, just the bone, and there were 5 of us... when I asked for another portion, I was told it wasn't possible because we had to finish the whole menu first. Never again, spending the whole night with stomach pain due to too much fat.

18/11/2025: We were allowed to park here over lunchtime and visit Castel del Monte via a lovely hiking trail. We ended up staying for lunch, even though it wasn't a requirement. The food was very good, albeit expensive, and the service was friendly thanks to a young man – a wonderful experience.

09/11/2025: I had the pleasure of hosting a family gathering of Italian-French cousins. The dining room staff gave me plenty of space and time to let the entire "cousin" dance. I also enjoyed an excellent menu and am truly satisfied. Thank you guys, I hope to be back soon to bring joy to your place. Lillo Strillo.

25/05/2025: The only positive note was the fairly decent pizza. We sat down as soon as we arrived but waited a good two hours for a pizza, leaving us at the last table. Service was very slow and disorganized. It was also a terrible idea to open the summer location in May when it's still cold in the evenings. Prices were a bit high, but the food quality was quite good. I wouldn't return for a number of reasons.
