06/07/2025: Superb spaghetti with seafood, lots of seafood and shrimp. Quantity and quality are worth the price. Excellent pizza, just the right height and very tasty. Really good grilled vegetables, seasoned excellently. Quick service and friendly and welcoming staff. Very positive experience.

26/04/2025: Posto molto bello e personale preparato e cortese. Pesce crudo e cotto come antipasto fantastico e profumato. Tonno alla brace buonissimo, mentre i primi erano soltanto "buoni". Il pesce è davvero buono ma, come ogni cosa, la qualità costa.

17/08/2025: The first night there was no table available, so we returned for lunch the next day. The food was tasty, but not outstanding. The portions are extremely small, so it's worth ordering more than one dish if you don't want to go hungry.

16/08/2025: The overall experience was positive: the food was good, and there was a sense of harmony between the kitchen and the dining room. However, the ambiance, while elegant, was rather bland and struggled to convey the authentic spirit of Apulian tradition. The service was prompt, but not as attentive to the needs of the diner. The episode with the assassin was a prime example: when we asked to reduce the spiciness, we were told that the dish should be enjoyed solely as is, with no option for customization. The presentation of the dishes was excellent, but the portions seemed small. Six of us each ordered three appetizers and an assassina: the gastronomic satisfaction was greater than the quantity. The staff contributed to the detached atmosphere, but did not fully contribute to the restaurant's local identity. Finally, the bill was higher than expected, burdened by wine with no clear price indication. A good place for those who want a good taste of Apulian cuisine, but not for those looking to immerse themselves in its true essence.

24/08/2025: I had dinner with some colleagues. The place was nice and well-maintained. The food was quite good, even if the portions were quite small. The service was good, although they gave me a dirty look when I asked for seconds. Overall, the quality/price ratio isn't bad, but there are some things that could be improved.

15/08/2025: I feel compelled to review this restaurant even though I didn't eat there because I think that, beyond the quality of the food, we should also consider the hospitality and service. We arrived at this restaurant today, August 15th, intending to have dinner. The owner greeted us by telling us he wasn't available at the moment but to come back in an hour (or less) and have us eat. So I asked if we needed to leave our names for priority, but he replied that it wasn't necessary. So we stopped looking and waited an hour (or less) before returning, convinced we'd eat. But upon our arrival, we immediately noticed a line that stretched all the way outside the restaurant! We entered, and the same person who had assured us he'd let us have dinner seated everyone except us, completely ignoring us! So we packed up and left! What can I say... Congratulations, kudos to the hospitality!

15/07/2025: Unfortunately, my experience at this restaurant was disappointing. From the very beginning, I sensed an unwelcoming attitude from the staff: cold service, with manners that bordered on arrogance rather than courtesy. Even when it came to the food, expectations were not met. The cheese platter arrived with truly minimal portions, some pieces so thin they resembled wafers rather than actual cheese. The tomato bruschetta was simply minimalist: a slice of bread with two small pieces of tomato on top, almost as if every ingredient needed to be rationed to the max. The eggplant parmigiana was the only passable dish, but lacked any real flair. The bread served was clearly stale, probably at least two days old. Finally, seeing the house wine poured from a plastic container didn't leave a good impression, especially for those who expect even a modicum of attention to detail.

10/07/2025: My rating is not for the place or the food, which was good, but it must be said that if you sit down at 2:15 in the afternoon, they serve you everything at once and suddenly remove everything from the table at 3:00... the salad is finished, they check if you have finished the bottle of wine and there is no option for dessert or the coffee, quite unpleasant to close before 3:15, so if you do not want to enjoy the food, do not come.

11/08/2025: This evening I visited this wonderful bar for the first time in the main square of the charming village of Martina Franca. Despite the large crowd, Carmelo, Roberta, and Serena welcomed us with a big smile and great kindness. They served us impeccably despite their busy schedule. What can I say? An experience worth repeating. I highly recommend stopping by this bar and finding them on duty.

02/09/2025: Table for two. A pizza and a first course. They came out within 8 minutes of each other. Practically a dinner all by itself. The dishes were good overall, nothing to complain about. I would reconsider the timing, especially considering the small number of people sitting there.

19/05/2025: This morning I made the mistake of choosing this bar to buy a takeaway croissant. Nutella croissant... a tiny and insipid croissant that wasn't even good and didn't even have Nutella. 1.50 euros of shame. Never again

17/08/2025: I went on August 15th. Besides the terrible service, the food was horrendous—the first courses were inedible, the tagliatelle were tasteless, the risotto was basically overcooked boiled rice with only one scampi in it. Not to mention the fried food was rubbery and dark in color, so the oil was completely used up. The wait was an average of an hour per course. The owner should do some soul searching, especially considering the €50 we paid. Wouldn't recommend even to my worst enemy.

04/08/2025: An evening with 17 guests, the helpfulness of the waiters was appreciated, and I think the owner, too. Everything else was almost forgettable. Various appetizers served: - potatoes, rice, mussels, and kcozz = a distant, bland relative of the dish - sea bream carpaccio (I think) = cod flavor, despite the marinade - beans, mussels, and potatoes = good - tagliatelle al Barolo, tough and drowned in cream, despite that, you could taste the acidic aftertaste of the sauce and the frozen porcini mushrooms (the version without cream didn't fare any better) - seafood risotto, tough, drowned in garlic, 90% creamed with the ready-made broth, and the quality of the seafood... inedible. - mussels with pepper, at least they were cooked, but before doing so, they should be cleaned properly and the byssus should be removed. - fried seafood, a little too dark in color, rings difficult to cut even with a knife. Needless to say, most of the dishes were left untasted and unfinished... See you never again, thanks

06/08/2025: We visited Masseria San Pietro for lunch and had a truly delightful experience. The location is enchanting, immersed in the quiet Salento countryside, meticulously maintained and very welcoming. The service was impeccable: the staff were friendly, discreet, and attentive. The menu offers traditional dishes with a tasteful twist, prepared with quality ingredients. Everything we tried was delicious and beautifully presented. A perfect place for those who want to enjoy a relaxing lunch in an elegant yet authentic setting. We'll be happy to return!

03/08/2025: We had dinner here thanks to a spa package. The atmosphere was comfortable and very simple. Very attentive service, but the menu wasn't very convincing. Worth trying again.

22/04/2025: La camarera era muy amable y la comida era sabrosa (un poco fría) sin embargo: Sirvieron un plato antes que todos los demás, luego sirvieron a otras tres personas y se olvidaron de un plato más. A la hora de pagar (les he pedido que cancelen el plato restante) , me pidieron que fuera al mostrador y esperara allí unos minutos antes de que alguien se fijara en mí. Y por supuesto que me cobraron 6 € por el servicio.

20/04/2025: Abbiamo deciso di fare un aperitivo classico da dividere in due perché non avevamo molta fame. Veramente terribile il servizio perché abbiamo aspettato 20 minuti per niente. Questo perché non avevamo fame e il cameriere ci ha detto che non potevamo prendere solo un aperitivo e una bottiglia di acqua.

06/03/2025: Terrible service to give a phone or postepay top-up they take forever they only serve their acquaintances or those who have to eat first...once they even denied me the use of the toilet! And I was in an emergency health situation complete with medical records from the emergency room...luckily the owner's son, after my complaints to a gruff gentleman with glasses, luckily let me use the bathroom.... But unfortunately that guy continues to stay there forever and never laughs for a two-hour wait for a recharge! Today he didn't even come to the terminal and I left! Keep up the good work 😒

29/08/2025: We stopped by chance at this cozy little place, unpretentious, and sat down immediately, greeted by Mr. Antonio. We ordered three appetizers, four main courses, two side dishes, wine, and a dessert. We weren't expecting such portions, and especially the quality of each dish. My compliments to the chef :) Our first evening in Monopoli ended divinely.
