07/11/2025: We stopped in somewhat by chance for a family lunch, completely out of season. We were the only guests, treated like at home, and everything was excellent, even though we didn't choose any fancy dishes. Thank you so much, it was a real pleasure!

23/10/2025: The food is poor and not cooked well at all. The prices are very high.

15/01/2026: Fried polenta with the right crispiness BUT completely unsalted. The service was quite rude. I gave it 5 stars because it's on a street in Bari.

11/01/2026: I've been there several times and have never been disappointed: a true must-try for Bari street food! The sgagliozze are crispy on the outside, soft on the inside, warm and fragrant, with that irresistible aroma that greets you as soon as you enter the alley. The place is small, with no seating, so it's perfect for grabbing a bite and enjoying it right away, keeping a safe distance from the boiling oil. Despite its simplicity, the atmosphere is typical of Bari Vecchia: you hear the Bari dialect spoken by the owners and staff, and a smile inevitably escapes your face. The staff is friendly, quick, and always available, even when it's crowded. The value for money is exceptional: little to spend, lots of flavor. Every time I pass through Bari, stopping by Maria delle Sgagliozze is an absolute must. Highly recommended!

16/08/2025: We had two Aperol Spritzes for €8 each (the menu says €7). There were no snacks to go with the Spritzes, so we had to get a bag of crisps on the side. The Spritzes were also awful. A truly unfortunate experience.

07/03/2026: MARTINUCCI, please give your employees a day off when they don't feel well! THEY WORK WITH FOOD! The lady at the ice cream parlour yesterday, she had a cold, a massive one... her nose was crimson and blocked, spoke with raspy & nasal voice, all I could hear was her sniffling and exhaling, the poor girl looked miserable :( Every breath she took with open mouth and heavily exhaled (while spatuling the ice cream) was probably loaded with germs, no gloves or face mask... I felt terribly sorry for her, and the ice-cream sitting in front of her, too....

23/10/2025: Good trattoria with a wide selection of dishes at very affordable prices. Friendly staff, fast service. Our dishes were good but too salty 🧂. We, as end-of-season tourists, recommend La Bettola. 😉

06/01/2026: We were there this afternoon, a wonderful experience, everything was good, I will gladly return, even the owner's son is a polite boy, the raw meat starter was excellent, all you can eat, cold drinks, I will return.

19/12/2025: Disappointment I'm writing this review during the long wait and while we're at the restaurant so highly praised by the owner on social media. We must say that the all-you-can-eat offerings are good quality, but the wait undoes all the hard work. There's nothing all-you-can-eat about them; it's a fixed-price menu based on the day at €25, excluding drinks and cover charge. We asked for several second courses after the first ones were served, and were told they'd run out. So the all-you-can-eat formula is no longer valid. The wait was excruciating. We personally complained to the owner about the wait, and he explained that there were more than 70 people in the room. We tried it to give it a try, but we won't be returning. Disappointment

22/02/2026: I ate a bit of tartare, no first course, no fish, 4 or 5 pieces of fried food, 5-6 peppered mussels, just water, a handful of tagliatelle, shared with others, I paid more than 53 euros, about eight people out of eight, 3 didn't eat the first course and not all of them ate the sea bass, the result is, do the math

14/02/2026: We've been frequenting this fry shop for a while now. The quality of the dishes, especially the fish, has never disappointed us. The owner, besides being an excellent cook, is also a pleasant and patient lady... she greeted us with a smile and without a reservation at 3:30 PM, making us feel at ease despite the hour. Everything was excellent, fresh and authentic, the staff was friendly, and the price was excellent. Thank you and congratulations.

25/02/2026: Very, very welcoming. Very authentic. Simple and personal. There was no menu. The owner and chef offered friendly and unobtrusive advice. The food was good. The price-performance ratio was absolutely fine. We'll gladly come again...

11/02/2026: Excellent welcome, impeccable service, exceptional orecchiette with turnip tops and fried anchovies, we couldn't eat anything else 😄 shame about the Tiella that wasn't available, but they promised us that next time we would find it 😉 lots of beer, coffee and ammazzacaffe, and the price was good too 🫰 In short, we'll be back 😊 oh the bread, delicious 😋

01/11/2025: The place and the staff are very polite and cheerful with everyone. As for the atmosphere, I'm absolutely satisfied. 🌟 There are, however, a few things that didn't leave a good impression on me, especially considering it was my first time here: 1️⃣ They told us they would store our coats and jackets, but they didn't specify that we had to pay to collect them. This is a mistake, because all costs should be clearly disclosed to avoid unpleasant surprises. 2️⃣ I ordered octopus with potatoes, but they brought me another, more expensive dish, with small octopus in a sauce that wasn't bad at all, but it wasn't what I'd asked for, and it was also the most expensive of the similar dishes I'd mentioned to the waitress. Sure, some might say, "You could have brought the dish back." But I'm not so miserable as to bring a dish for just €6 or €7 more. Oh well! Anyway, it's not pleasant to ask for one thing and get something else. Luckily, the food was always good. I ate it all. 3️⃣ I recommend checking your receipts carefully 🧾, because they added a burger we never ordered and wanted to charge us for it.

01/11/2025: Halloween Night A venue with entertainment and live music, average food, and a limited wine selection. The octopus and potato salad was average, the chopped beef was so-so, the Angus asado was nothing special, and the tiramisu was forgettable. Overall, unfortunately, the quality/price ratio was inadequate for the offerings in a beautiful setting. Beware of the €3 cloakroom fee per person, which isn't specified at the entrance!

01/03/2026: I'm giving one star only because you can't give zero. Next time, perhaps instead of making us wait 30 minutes for the waiter to come and let us get up after getting our ice cream and drinks, put a sign at each table saying that you have to order to be seated. It would waste less time and you would definitely make a better impression. AVOID ONLY FOR THE RUDENESS.

15/12/2025: We went to *Cupido* for dinner and were thrilled! We started with the "Cupido" aperitif: a delicious, generous selection, and meticulously prepared, perfect for a delicious start to the evening. Followed by a truly excellent first course of *spaghetti with clams*: flavorful, well-seasoned, and made with fresh ingredients. The *pizza* is a real guarantee: light and digestible dough, perfectly cooked, and generous toppings. The menu also offers many *fish* options, ideal for those who want something different from the classic pizza. Welcoming place, attentive staff, and excellent value. Highly recommended, we'll definitely be back!

24/08/2025: The atmosphere is lovely; although the inside dining area is small, there are plenty of tables, and in the summer you can also eat outside. The pizza is delicious, and you can also order fish and meat dishes. The owners are friendly and welcoming, always available to accommodate any request.

13/12/2025: I've known Pizzeria Happy Family for about three months, and every time I'm passing through Modugno, I can't help but stop in. The owners are kind and affectionate, making you feel right at home. The location is welcoming and familiar, ideal for relaxing and enjoying a good meal. The food truly tastes like home: tasty, carefully prepared, and always fresh. The events they organize are impeccable, designed down to the smallest detail for both children and adults. The entertainment is top-notch, engaging the little ones from start to finish, allowing adults to carve out a moment just for themselves. A well-structured place where passion and customer care reign supreme.”
