A magnificent grigliata mista! The white wine from the nearby Torrevento winery is wonderfully fruity, should try!
It’s a restaurant with an unpretentious, relaxed atmosphere - the garden seating is highly recommended. The staff are kind and friendly!

Every time we go to Salento for summer vacation, we stop for a night in Castel del Monte, and dinner at Locanda dei Duchi is a must! A beautiful location with tables set on a terrace overlooking the castle in the distance. The highlight is the focaccia barese, a specialty worth the long journey to savor every time. Not to mention the pizzas...excellent! Service is fairly quick despite the place being always busy, and the owners are kind and hospitable. We'll definitely be back, as is now our tradition.

Someone recommended this place to us for the best focaccia in the area, and I have to say they were right! Soft, thick, and tasty! We also had appetizers, mozzarella, and a traditional dessert, all delicious. The owners and staff were very friendly, and it was excellent value. The place is gorgeous in the summer evenings.

Beautiful and relaxing place. I recommend the grilled meat, superb! We also really enjoyed the terrine and the very generous mixed antipasto. The pizzas also have a light dough and are well-filled, and are not small like they make in other places. We will definitely come again because our children also enjoyed it. Thank you so much. We arrived for vacation, and nothing was open.
We found this restaurant, which, as expected, was closing, but they didn't make us leave.
In fact, they opened their doors to us, and we ate wonderfully. We were treated like family, with priceless kindness.
