20/09/2025: If you think you're going to La Pergola for an elegant restaurant, you're in the wrong place, but the only thing you can be sure of is that the pizza 🍕 is truly delicious. Highly recommended

18/08/2025: Typical Lecce pizzeria Six of us went for dinner. We arrived when the place was full, the wait was just right, the staff was quick and attentive, moving their hands and heads, creating a dynamic and fast atmosphere. The waiter's attention to asking the pizza chef how the orders were before taking our appetizer order was a sign of attention and professionalism not found even in more upscale places. The drinks arrived promptly and were perfectly cold... but always before or alongside the food (not a given). I'm not even talking about the food (because it was as good as I expected it to be): pizza, fried food, pucce, pieces of horse meat, even jumbo ones (if I didn't appreciate them, there's no point in coming to Salento). All good, with authentic and fragrant flavors. Clean and, I'd say, with a friendly touch, namely a mascot that was among the tables, tolerated by everyone with respect and politeness. If you happen to stop by, it's definitely worth it. P.S. We went in August, but these locals come here year-round and are never disappointed. They also do takeout, and in our case, it didn't bother us too much. Maybe things change in the winter, but I must say that the staff is attentive and does their best to keep the wait to a minimum.

02/09/2025: Basic accommodations, with the bare minimum. Our initial apartment wasn't as described in the quote, so they upgraded it for a larger one, which was definitely better maintained. I thank the reception staff, who are always helpful and kind. Unfortunately, as a resort, it has a lot of potential, but it's run down, a bit neglected. Even the various apartments need maintenance. The location is convenient, facing the beach (Marilupe beach, which is also too basic. Not even a footbath or shower. Tiny bar with limited selection, but at least it's a small beach with 10 rows of umbrellas, and it's very quiet since it belongs to the resort). The covered parking within the resort is excellent. Nice and clean pool. The pass to see the entertainment at the Rainbow Village on Scialara is also excellent. Price? Quite affordable.

08/08/2025: For five years, we've been spending our holidays in Vieste at Villaggio San Lorenzo, a property distinguished by its strategic location on the Europa seafront, just steps from the beach and minutes from the town center. Overall, the resort is well-maintained and offers clean, comfortable accommodations. Beach service is included in the price, and the property also has a swimming pool and tennis court. Entertainment is not provided. The staff has always been courteous, helpful, and attentive to guests' needs. Another strong point is the prices, which remain consistently affordable.

26/08/2025: We went here for dinner a few days ago. When we asked, we were promised a seat outside. However, this wasn't honored. The food wasn't very tasty. We ordered a 300-gram steak. What was on our plate was significantly less than 300 grams. The service also left much to be desired. I wouldn't recommend this restaurant to anyone.

25/08/2025: We visited this restaurant with a couple of friends and it was a very pleasant experience. Everything was delicious, from the appetizer to the sandwich. The icing on the cake was the meat sushi (off-menu, only available on Wednesdays or upon request). The only downside was the slow service. Regardless, we'll definitely be back!

25/08/2025: I accidentally stumbled upon it one Sunday in August at lunchtime, and found myself in a dark place with a young man at the cash register serving focaccia worth its weight in gold and of questionable quality. I would have preferred to wait in line for half an hour at other bakeries than eat a focaccia that was barely manageable.

24/08/2025: I was truly shocked when, at the time of paying (we didn't have a menu), they added an extra 4 euros (for two people) for service when cutting the cake, which, after all, wasn't their cake, but the birthday boy's. Then, on top of that, you already charged me a cover charge, and I think that for a simple cut and an extra dish, two euros, not four, are enough. Forgive me, we also have to be realistic, and there's no excuse for charging me for cutting the cake because, I repeat, it wasn't yours, and if you're doing me a service, I'm already paying for it in the cover charge... How disgusting...

12/10/2025: Service is inadequate. 15 minutes after ordering, we were informed that the kitchen was closed. Only salad and food from the deep fryer were available. This seemed to be made from leftovers. The portion was quite small and was served without bread. I wouldn't recommend this restaurant.

29/08/2025: The owner refused to give us an umbrella because we had small children and a stroller (which could be folded). He also said we couldn't open a small basin in the shade for our newborn. This is absolutely disgusting, insensitive, rude, and discriminatory behavior toward children. We have reported this to the authorities. Stay away from this place.

29/08/2025: The owner's service is terrible. Very aggressive and defensive when faced with a polite request. I don't recommend it at all. I don't understand how he retains his customers. Another owner should open the same location because it's beautiful.

11/10/2025: A wonderful experience: we had seafood risotto, Sorrento-style gnocchi, buffalo mozzarella, grilled octopus and it was all delicious thanks to the excellent raw materials. Furthermore, upon arrival it was pleasant to be welcomed by the professionalism and kindness of the manager and his staff... I can only highly recommend it.

15/09/2025: I visited this place with high expectations, dictated by reviews and photos. The experience was anything but thrilling. We ordered drinks, an appetizer to share, and two sandwiches. The appetizer was served first, well before the drinks. We weren't even given plates to eat on. After the appetizer, the drinks arrived. The sandwiches followed, and the meat inside was practically room temperature. A dinner to forget.

27/06/2025: The food is good. But compared to Bitonto, it's really very poor. I had heard great things about it but I was disappointed.
