15/12/2025: Very kind staff and excellent prices, but the pizza tomato sauce is very sweet and the waiting time is almost an hour and a half for a metre-long pizza, with the place almost empty. The area is also bad at night, full of drunk immigrants and the place is from the 80s in need of renovation.

22/02/2026: Today, February 22nd, we went to this restaurant and we ate excellent food. I'd say it's an excellent restaurant. The owner treated us very well, and I recommend you go there. The last thing I have to say is the price: 50.00 per person, everything from Gino's appetizer to coffee. Go, you'll be happy.

30/12/2025: The food is excellent and of great quality. I finally found the clams as they should be. The peppered mussels were very tasty and made with real Taranto mussels. The tiella was traditional and well-prepared. The price was reasonable for the quality of the ingredients, perhaps a little higher than average.

01/02/2026: Eating while the owner was rushed and anxious wasn't exactly a pleasant experience. We were practically kicked out after half an hour because the table was being served to subsequent customers. We weren't told on the phone that we were supposed to have dinner with a timer! Never again! Rushing to cash in will lose you customers, because obviously we won't set foot in your restaurant again, and if we spread the word...

14/03/2026: Very disappointing. We ordered the mixed fried baby octopus and calamari. There was no calamari, only baby octopus. I ordered the gnocchi with shrimp and burrata. I received three shrimp and half a burrata. What can I say? We were served the appetizer before our drinks. For the price, don't go! Only the location is worth it.

02/03/2026: I would have given a few more stars if it weren't for the poorly trained staff, in the sense that: they bring you the other dishes without removing the dirty plates, the food is okay but the chef needs to make peace with the salt, we kindly asked for the bill and without opening our mouths they presented it to us without even greeting or asking how the meal went.... it seems like they are doing you a favor by sitting at the table... never again... shameful

01/02/2026: Friends' recommendations are often highly subjective. They had "touted" this steakhouse as if it were the best in the world. Honestly, it was nothing special. We arrived, they sat us down at our table, ignoring us for almost half an hour, while people who had arrived after us were being served, so much so that I had to go to the waiter myself to get even a bottle of water. The meat was average, nothing extraordinary like the descriptions of those who recommended it to me. The waiters I would definitely not give an Oscar for friendliness to, and the prices, even those, were not exceptional. An experience not to be repeated.

05/03/2026: We came for lunch today expecting at least a normal lunch but were really disappointed. Started with their mixed antipasti which were quite good actually but our main course of pasta with prawns and mine with lobster were terrible! Wife's pasta with prawns tasted acidic and mine was rather bland with half of the lobster completely empty! I even searched to see if it was mixed in the pasta but naturally not the case. We even treated the waiter politely showing and telling him our disappointment but only got the reply that he is only the waiter. Ended our lunch paying 60.00 euros. The waiter told us he gave us a discount of 5.00 euros for the table charge without even telling us sorry for only the 18.00 euros and 2.50 euros of a bottle of water. Even a slight excuse for their uneatable main course would have permitted me to not write this recension but here I am.....

The quality-price ratio is excellent, and every course confirms your choice. The bruschetta in oil is a must-try, truly sublime, as are the flavorful and carefully prepared first courses. The menu is quite varied and includes typical local dishes, appetizers, first courses, second courses, and even pizzas, also available for takeout. Everything is well-made, tasty, and very reasonably priced. It's an ideal place for both lunch and dinner, perfect for those who want to eat well in a quiet, family-run environment. The staff is friendly, welcoming, and immediately puts you at ease. The food is good and the drinks even better, in a genuine and convivial atmosphere. Important note: they don't accept debit or credit cards, so it's best to bring cash. Don't miss the lady's homemade mandarinetto: a real treat that ends the meal in the best possible way. September 2015. I will definitely be back.

06/09/2025: The grill was excellent, and the pizza was delicious, well-cooked, crispy and soft at the same time. Fair prices.

03/02/2026: Excellent value for money. Overall, it's a good place to stay. The rooms are spacious and clean, and that alone makes me give it the highest star rating. The building is a bit dated, but that's also something to be appreciated. We had a great time. I recommend it.

25/11/2025: A great place for a family evening. In the summer, there's also a lovely outdoor area separated from the main area. The food is good and the prices are average. They can also host children's birthday parties, though there are obviously no games.

24/10/2025: Misleading advertisement for half-liter non-alcoholic beer. I came to this pub and noticed their advertisement for a 0.5L non-alcoholic beer. When ordering, I asked for the advertised half-liter non-alcoholic beer. To my surprise, I was served a 0.33L bottle/glass for the same price as the 50cl one.

06/09/2025: I agree that the pizza dough lacked salt, and so did the tomato sauce. The dough was also a little too chewy.

30/08/2025: Stunning location, a charming terrace with stunning lighting. Top service, as the waiters were very helpful, friendly, and quick. The food was decent—we had delicious octopus meatballs, but the pizza was a bit salty. A bit bland. Overall, I'd give it a 6/10.
