25/10/2025: Entering the historic center of this beautiful town in the Brindisi area, it was a pleasant surprise. The welcome was warm, the service was equally warm, and the dishes were tasty and made with quality ingredients. The risotto with capocollo and fennel was excellent. Most tourists head into the heart of the historic center in search of more traditional, but very crowded, restaurants. For a quieter experience, I recommend Taverna della Torre. I forgot to mention that coffee is free, and in these times when people split every penny, that's no small thing.

18/08/2025: I went to dinner at Cris&Bio and had an excellent experience. The waiter recommended some really excellent appetizers. We didn't wait more than 10 minutes for the appetizer to be already on the table. Excellent service and spectacular desserts. The pizza was good, definitely worth returning. The only flaw was the location, it could be better.

16/08/2025: We went to this place for dinner on August 15th. As an appetizer, we had a "tasting of Japigia," consisting of homemade parmigiana (but it had nothing in common with the real Bari parmigiana), coppata strips (that is, two slices of cured meat that I could shred myself if I wanted, otherwise they arrive whole like at the supermarket), two stringy potato pizzas (actually, a pizza brick with very little potato), olives (a small bowl of 5), one mozzarella (translated as 1 knot), one small bowl of baked scamorza, and the inevitable Barivecchiana, which is two sgagliozze with chopped red tomatoes drizzled with olive oil (I would have preferred the inimitable sgagliozze with just salt). After finally finishing the appetizer, we moved on to the pizzas with Bari-style, thin-crust dough. It's a shame it was so thin you couldn't taste it, except for the extreme crunchiness that made it resemble a round layer of unsalted crackers. The sauce was also lacking in salt, making the pizza taste sweet. The pizza prices are average for this time of year, although, in my opinion, given the consistency of the dough and the limited toppings, they could be a little cheaper. A positive note is that they've created their own app. By signing up, you're entitled to an immediate €5 discount (which is applied regularly) and can accumulate points for future discounts. Overall, the place is pleasant. Improving the pizza dough and the dining area could make a significant improvement.

11/11/2025: A very charming location, nestled in the greenery of Salento. The staff is friendly, approachable, always available, and attentive to their customers. The food is excellent, from the delicious appetizers to the meticulously prepared, sophisticated, and even exquisite first courses, to the truly delicious second courses, especially the meat-based ones. Finally, the pizzas are simply worth trying, each one better than the last. Stop by and you'll be sure to be satisfied. First of all, I'd like to extend my compliments to the entire staff, and especially to Cosimo and Andrea, their excellent hosts.

09/11/2025: Embarrassing service! The wait staff was pushy and rude throughout, repeatedly dismissing our orders as "not profitable enough." This inappropriate behavior was capped off by the overall service when, when we asked for the bill without dessert, the waiter literally laughed in our faces, trivializing our request, along with his colleague. This serious flaw, which is completely at odds with the quality of the dishes, should be improved. We would have returned if we hadn't been given this terrible welcome.

11/06/2025: Esperienza veramente degna di nota per l'accoglienza, location, servizio e cibo. Nicola, il responsabile, è stato impeccabile con tanto di cicerone finale sulla storia della masseria. Consigliatissimo per chi vuol provare antichi/genuini sapori conditi in una location in cui il calendario sembra sia fermo a parecchi anno fa. Fam. Bevilacqua

25/05/2025: Abbiamo scelto Masseria Calderoso per festeggiare la nostra promessa di matrimonio, dopo esserci stati una domenica a pranzo, e siamo rimasti nuovamente soddisfatti! Accoglienza all'esterno con un aperitivo di benvenuto ed una tavola allestita in maniera semplice, ma precisa; le portate abbondanti ed una più squisita dell'altra; un post-pranzo seduti al sole nella tranquillità della natura, che ci ha permesso di rilassarci e scambiare qualche chiacchiera in compagnia. La presenza discreta, ma percepibile di Nicola ed Annamaria, oltre alla loro simpatia e disponibilità ad accontentare tutti, è il fiore all'occhiello di questo posto magico. Rapporto qualità-prezzo invidiabile! Consigliatissimo!

26/10/2025: Truly an excellent restaurant! The owner, Giuseppe, stands out for his courtesy, helpfulness, and reliability: always attentive to his guests' needs and ready to make them feel at home. The seafood dishes are simply top-notch, incredibly fresh and cooked with great care. The pizza is also excellent, with a light crust and quality ingredients. The welcoming atmosphere and impeccable service complete a truly enjoyable experience. Highly recommended for those seeking good food, kindness, and a passion for fine dining. I'll definitely be back!

01/12/2025: A fairytale place. Excellent welcome. I celebrated my 18th birthday here with great pomp. Excellent menu. The waiters were also excellent; they never let anything go unnoticed! From the appetizers to the cake. Spacious and well-equipped rooms.

12/10/2025: We had a wonderful time here. The dough is homemade, and you can really taste the difference — both pizzas were absolutely delicious. The Vegetarian and the Buffalo pizzas were full of flavor, perfectly baked, and beautifully fresh. The Aperols were big, refreshing, and very well made. The only small thing that could make it even better would be to serve the Aperols in proper Aperol glasses instead of basic water glasses — but that’s just a minor detail. Overall, everything was excellent, and I’d definitely come back!

02/10/2025: I have tried at least 6 difficult dishes and 2 different desserts. Everything was delicious in a rustic sense. Zero flaws. I recommend this place wholeheartedly. Try their grilled food.

09/09/2025: This restaurant is right in the historic center of Lecce, so the atmosphere is already beautiful, clean, and welcoming. The service is excellent; I didn't wait long to be served, and I must say the waiters are also very good and friendly. Unfortunately, I only give 3 stars for the first course. The pasta was a bit too salty, and at €25, I was sad to leave it half-eaten. Maybe it was a slip-up? I'll be back, but I'll definitely order the meat, which is their signature dish.

05/09/2025: A truly positive experience at this downtown osteria. The cuisine focuses on local products, especially vegetables and game, but also includes seafood. Good service, reasonable wait times, and a very fair price/quality ratio. Recommended.
