05/08/2024: A superb restaurant in Verbania. The restaurant is very charming with its outdoor courtyard. We enjoyed the homemade pasta, and the service was top notch! I really recommend coming to eat here 😊
28/07/2024: Great food, super portions! The lady who serves at the tables is uniquely friendly. Too bad she's alone! There is a lack of staff and therefore there are waiting times.

The fish platter tasted great and was almost impossible for two people. Very good value for money! Nice attentive waiter! We'll definitely be back!
11/08/2024: Very nice restaurant with delicious food at fair prices.
The service was excellent, our dogs were brought water without asking and we were also served courteously and friendly.
Recommended 😀

29/08/2024: Ambience for Italy is better. Food was okay but could be better for Italy, and the portion of the pasta was a bit small. Price performance is therefore not optimal. Therefore only 3-4 stars.

21/08/2024: This was our second time there and we enjoyed it as always. The location is really great. The dishes were all very good. The ever-changing menu means you can always find something new.
20/08/2024: I went on the advice of locals.
I was interested in local lake cuisine.
I must admit that it did not disappoint expectations: everything was excellent (starter and main course accompanied by an excellent Chardonnay bubble).
Very professional and efficient service.
Excellent internal location for a quiet dinner.
Medium-high prices, but well spent.
Definitely coming back.

Personale cortese, luogo (un po' in salita) ma facile da raggiungere,
si mangia bene, e si paga il giusto.
Che cavolo scrivo a fare? Le altre recensioni gia' "parlano" da sole.
Io ti consiglio un giretto per mangiare al "Rifugio" .
Se sei un pretenzioso e ti trovi male
...il problema sei tu... :-)
Ah dimenticavo: non sono andato in bagno... ma immagino perfetto anche quello.

02/05/2024: Pranzo festivo con amici dove, lo dico subito, abbiamo mangiato benissimo! nonostante il locale fosse affollato, siamo stati veramente bene, il chiasso della convivialità è passato in secondo piano vista la gentilezza del personale e l'accoglienza di tutto lo staff...cibi di lago e montagna perfettamente cucinati e serviti...tornerò sicuramente, lo consiglio vivamente a tutte quelle persone che amano la nostra Cucina piemontese ..a presto! Grazie

18/07/2024: Nice restaurant in the centre. Reservations are necessary, as there are not many places. Excellent local dishes. Friendly staff and open kitchen. I would also like to point out that the bathrooms are very well kept and clean which is not always a given.
18/07/2024: Absolutely delicious meal. Can’t recommend enough. Was recommended this from a local and enjoyed every moment of dinner here.

13/05/2024: Gorgeous. Excellent food (especially the gnocchi) and local and family cuisine, the grandmother and daughter in the kitchen and the grandson serving. Very very nice. 30euro per adult all inclusive (wine, drink, dessert, coffee, etc.). Really cheap. Cash only.
A very nice address.
29/04/2024: The food is good, it feels like eating at grandma's house, the management is familiar, everyone is kind, the only one is that you only pay in cash, they don't have cards or debit cards.

13/08/2024: Fantastic stay and great restaurant. I booked with Smartbox and after looking for stays for months in my opinion this is the best. Don't be scared by the road because you can get there without problems and it's really worth it. Everyone is very kind and the restaurant is delicious! A quiet place surrounded by greenery. Super Pet Friendly is really important to me that it is.
08/08/2024: Very friendly people, clean room and good food.
The morning buffet is very small and almost everything is still packaged, like in Lidl. There was fresh bread on the second day.

12/08/2024: The pasta was delicious, as was the Caesar salad. The tiramisu (traditional/pistachio) was a real delight! The presentation of the dishes was very careful, the service pleasant and fast. Great restaurant, I highly recommend!
