02/04/2025: We were there on Sunday for lunch and were welcomed with extreme kindness. The location is very beautiful. We had lunch outside under a vine and enjoyed excellent dishes, from the cold cuts platter to homemade pasta. A further demonstration of the manager's kindness and honesty was when, once we got home, we realized that they had charged us 3 more tiramisu than we had ever ordered. We called to report the error and the owner immediately made himself available to make a refund transfer, which took place the following day. I thank you again for this gesture of extreme kindness. If we return to Stresa, we will already know where to have lunch.

29/03/2025: A really great little Italian restaurant :-) The food was so delicious that I ate starter, main course and dessert (mussels, osso buco and tiramisu). The staff was also very friendly. Highly recommended!!

23/01/2025: Bad service, poorly made dishes, tasteless cheeses, low quality cold meats. I wouldn't recommend it to a friend or my father and God only knows I don't like this thing. The only restaurant open, I would rather recommend the Carrefour next door.

13/03/2025: Two people had lunch outdoors last week. It was a beautiful sunny day. Excellent lunch, even though it was crowded the service was fast and precise. Wide choice, from aperitifs, toasts, etc. Average prices for the place. The only flaw was that the POS line wasn't working at the time. Luckily we had some cash. For the rest we were satisfied with the choice.

18/02/2025: Locale accogliente e cucina raffinata..... siamo stati serviti da un personale impeccabile,in un ambiente luminoso e abbiamo gustato piatti eccellenti e ben presentati. Non poca cosa. I ravioli ripieni ricotta e spinaci, con burrata e bottarga erano ben bilanciati e sfiziosi. Lo sfilatino ripieno e guarnito di ogni cosa, è stato in grado di sfamare e soddisfare l'appetito di un camminatore come mio marito! E i due antipasti - alici imbottite e fiori di zucca - erano veramente ben fritti e decisamente gustosi! Un pranzetto con i fiocchi che non osavamo sperare un lunedì di metà febbraio in una città semideserta ma suggestiva anche in pieno inverno. Di lì poi il buon consiglio di visitare il borgo di Orta San giulio, veramente da non perdere! Aggiungo che il rapporto qualità/prezzo è molto buono e che sono tutti molto professionali e gentili.

07/12/2024: Vengo spesso in questo locale e ogni volta mi trovo benissimo sia per la pizza con prodotti ottimi e digeribilissima che per la cucina con i suoi piatti. uno dei pochi ristoranti dove si puo trovare l ottima Leffe Rossa alla spina .Se passate da Stresa fateci un salto.

29/03/2025: A hidden GEM!! Warm and quaint! We were starving and “settled” for what we thought was a pub. What a delight!! The atmosphere cozy! Everything we ordered was DELICIOUS!!! It was so good we came for a second day and had the soup and salad!! The first night we had the special, Stinko, meat cooked in beer. We also ordered focaccia and a side salad. The focaccia is fresh baked!! Yum!! The salad was fresh tasted as though it came from the garden!! The mushroom soup very flavorful!!

12/01/2025: Siamo stati il primo weekend di gennaio ed abbiamo festeggiato il compleanno di due sorelle gemelle 😊 : è andato tutto bene! Locale molto bello! Personale gentilissimo con un proprietario molto professionale! Ritorneremo Ravera Paolo e Bosca Maria

06/01/2025: Posizione, cortesia e pulizia da 5 stelle. Sei a pochi passi dal centro, personale sempre con il sorriso e molto cortese, stanze ben pulite. Non ho dato 5 stelle per due motivi 1. Visto il periodo e visto anche che a Stresa isole ecc. E quasi tutto chiuso, forse per attirare più turismo un pochino meno potrebbe costare. 2. La colazione migliorabile, metterei qualche succo in piu, c'era solo quello d'arancia confezionato della Derby, brioche solo vuote di buona qualità ma solo vuote, torte metterei un po più scelta e di qualità un poco superiore.

21/10/2024: Nous avons mangé en terrasse au milieu de la place, les prix sont un peu plus chère que tous les restaurants sur la place juste en dessous mais les trois plats étaient très bons et le service était bien.

02/01/2025: Typical local restaurant with typical dishes. A little disappointed with the cheese plate. Portions not large for what you paid. Friendly staff, the bathroom is in the basement and in very poor condition. The menu with typical dishes but be careful that they are almost all derived from freezing, expensive cover charge for what is offered.

09/03/2025: È sempre un piacere tornare in questo locale che è una vera “chicca” sul Lago Maggiore. Tutto perfetto, il cibo, il vino, l’atmosfera e l’ospitalità verso le persone ed i cani. Federica è davvero speciale ❤️. Per me, mio marito e la mia cagnolina Havana è ormai una tappa fissa! Super consigliato!!!

09/02/2025: como su nombre indica restaurante con fantástica vista al Lago Maggiore que hace del lugar un sitio especial. El espacio es amplio y agradable. La caray combina carnes y pescados como platos principales destacando la Tagliatta di Scottona alla griglia. Calidad/precio muy correcto por lo que es recomendable en la zona

18/03/2025: Very convenient location, a stone's throw from all the commercial activities, all the services and above all a stone's throw from the boat for the Borromeo islands. Simple rooms, but with everything you need available, impeccable cleanliness. Barbara, who manages the property, is everything one could wish for from a host: kindness, helpfulness, friendliness and professionalism. Excellent quality-price ratio.

11/11/2024: Good hotel. A big plus is that the room was very warm, the heating works great, hot water too. It was quite noisy outside, although the end of October is not the high season.

20/10/2024: Io e mia moglie abbiamo trascorso un weekend molto piacevole. La cena romantica è stata tipica e di ottimo gusto. La camera era curata e disponeva di tutto il necessario. Consiglierei questa esperienza a chiunque.

04/10/2024: Ожидали больше, если честно. Рыба не самая свежая и вкусная. Равиоли - ощущение, что немного перемороженные. Не руколепные. Для Италии слабо. Уже привыкли в Пьемонте качественно кушать. Редко пишу не хвалебные отзывы, но мы разочарованы, к сожалению. Поток единовременных клиентов дает отрицательные моменты. Ребята на острове поток туристов. Оценку не сильно снизил. Ребята с ресторана, поднимите свою гордость за итальянскую кухню и немного поменяйтесь!!!

06/04/2025: I ate outdoors on the lakeside with a spectacular view of the excellent ravioli filled with perch and almonds, and an equally excellent fried lake fish. Very kind and smart staff. Very honest prices: spent €55 for 2. I recommend it!

07/10/2024: I can't recommend this restaurant, there wasn't a dish on the daily menu, the steak was ordered medium rare and a half-rare piece of meat was brought that consisted mostly of fat and tendons. To be fair, we didn't have to pay for the steak after complaining. The service was anything but expert, inattentive and only discreetly friendly. A bottle of wine that we ordered came to the table already opened and we only received a wine cooler when we asked. The dishes were more lukewarm than hot. Overall a disappointment. Update or response to feedback from the owner: Since the proprietario does not have any connection with our specialist specialists, the comment is "incompetent clients" and is arrogant.

23/08/2024: Excellent restaurant a stone's throw from the lively square which surprises with its cozy, bucolic and calm interior courtyard. The staff were very charming and the cuisine refined and plentiful. The spaghetti with truffles was succulent and the plate very generous with lots of large slices of truffle. Recommended!
