13/04/2025: We spent a night in this place, but without using the restaurant service 🍽 (which I therefore cannot judge). Let me start by saying that in the past I have had the opportunity to try a wide range of different structures... from cabins and refuges... passing through very modest guesthouses and hostels (the latter also in places such as the suburbs of Budapest 🇭🇺, Riga 🇱🇻, Tallinn 🇪🇪 and Vilnius 🇱🇹...). In consideration of this, therefore... I won't even dwell on the infinity of small and large flaws (to use a euphemism......) of this structure, in relation to the state of the rooms 🛏 and the environments 🛋... just read several previous reviews 📝 (which I feel I can fully agree with) to get an idea. What really struck me rather, was the ABSOLUTE LACK OF TACT AND COURTESY of the staff (with the exception of the youngest girl 👩🏻, who kindly and jokingly - this must be said - showed us to our rooms). After checking in, around mid-afternoon, the owners asked us if we intended to eat there in the evening ✨; after replying that we preferred to "go for a walk around", we had the impression that our decision had at least annoyed them. Furthermore, before leaving, the older lady 👵🏻 asked us (with a severe look 🤔...): "where do you have to go?"...after explaining our intentions, the same lady added: "because here we are open until midnight 🕛". After reassuring her of this, we went out for dinner. The next morning, ready to check out at around 8.30 🕣, we found the reception and the ground floor completely deserted, in addition to the main 🚪 door closed 🔒 (therefore without any possibility of leaving independently). After a few minutes ⏳, despite the initial amazement and doubts, we looked for and, fortunately "crossed paths", another lady 👩🏻‍🦱...who in a decidedly annoyed manner 😒 (this time it was certainly not a simple impression) replied: "you could have warned us before, now I'll call the owner". After a few minutes the owner 👨🏻‍🦱 actually came down (clearly having just gotten out of bed 🛏) and greeted us with the same cordiality: "early risers eh". Maybe he didn't consider that maybe we might just be planning to make the most of our day. We therefore hurried to pay the bill (not so modest by the way) and leave the facility. From the first to the last moment of our, albeit short, stay... I didn't see the slightest smile on the faces of the staff (with the exception of the young girl, I underline this once again) nor even that minimum of courtesy that any restaurateur/hotelier should show (if only to be able to continue to have customers). Almost (and in fact, let's remove the almost) one had to feel embarrassed 😳, if not guilty, for the fact of having allowed themselves to leave the hotel 🏨 (and perhaps, as mentioned, having dragged the staff out of bed..) at 8.30 🕣 in the morning. SIMPLY AMAZING 😱. When we came out we all breathed a sigh of relief. To put it like Dante Alighieri: "Abandon all hope, you who enter". Jokes aside...obviously NOT RECOMMENDED IN THE MOST ABSOLUTE WAY 👎. 25/04/2024: Ora il locale si chiama lemontree ed è in pratica una tavola fredda che offre panini, insalate, piatti freddi e dessert. Sono stato qui a pranzo con mia moglie e figlia, il locale dentro è bellissimo, pieno di cimeli rock come chitarre autografate da grandissimi artisti, locandine, dischi.. davvero bello. Abbiamo mangiato un panino al prosciutt, un salmone affumicato con verdura e ed un altro panino al pollo, un tiramisù, birra, un calice di vino, acqua. Cibo buono, servizio ok, prezzi abbastanza alti

15/04/2024: As we had visited Isola Bella several times and had been to The Lemon Tree, we decided to pop in again. We decided to sit inside rather than on the terrace as it was a wet day. To warm ourselves up we had a coffee and a muffin each. Coffee was hot and the muffins, an apricot one and a blueberry one were excellent. We returned later on to have a snack at lunchtime and decided on a Caprese Salad to share and 2 beers. Even though the cafe was busy service was very quick and efficient. We had visited the cafe a few days before in the sunshine and sat outside having a coke and an Aperol Spritz. The cafe was very busy, but the staff recognised us from previous visits and had time for a few words.

08/05/2025: Io e mio figlio, abbiamo preso un cappuccino e una torta di mele, molto buona!!! Ci siamo seduti alla terrazza all'aperto. Un posto molto carino e accogliente. Ci tornerò!!

25/04/2025: Terrificante! Arrivati dall'isola madre all'ora di pranzo, una volta seduti hanno preso la comanda. Per un piatto di prosciutto è melone da dividere in due ci sono voluti 30 minuti, se non chiedevo io il pane non lo avrebbero portato. Ordinato poi due piatti di riso con zucchine e gamberetti, dopo 40 min di attesa la risposta è stata che avevano tanta gente, 282 persone, in maniera anche maleducata. Quando il piatto è arrivato c'erano 2 gamberetti, tracce minime di zucchine e tanto pomodoro tagliato e sminuzzata. Pessimo in tutto, il conto altissimo, tre fette di melone e 3 di prosciutto 13 euro. Posto da stare alla larga!

05/03/2025: Vista top! Cibo buono :un piatto affettati misti e una tagliata con verdure.peccato per lo strudel era surgelato ! Poca scelta nel menu di primi .

17/02/2025: A pranzo. Piatti buoni e veloci nel servizio. Un po’ troppo costose le birre. Un po’ di disorganizzazione ma personale gentile. Purtroppo (almeno per il mio gusto personale) troppo caos. Un posto di montagna per me è un posto dove rilassarsi dopo una bella camminata , invece, complice la possibilità di arrivare al ristorante praticamente con 2 passi dal parcheggio, troppo caos . Ma ripeto, è un difetto solo per chi come me dalla montagna cerca relax e silenzio.

26/01/2025: Ho soggiornato in questa fantastica struttura qualche settimana fa, posizzionata in vetta al monte Mottarone, personale molto gentile e attento!!! Anzi oserei dire al di sopra di molti altri ristorati della stessa località. Raclette eccezionale. Consiglio a tutti, una vera esperienza di montagna!!! Unica pecca la pessima gestione del comprensorio sciistico da parte dei Borromeo, che ovviamente don dipende dal hotel casa della neve, ma una sciata mi avrebbe fatto proprio piacere

26/04/2025: Proprietario maleducatissimo, a me e alla mia ragazza ci ha respinti in maniera molto brusca, in una bellissima città come Stresa questo é un posto da cancellare

14/04/2025: Ristorante da scarsissima qualità da revoca licenza esercizio. Cibo congelato cotto al microonde immangiabile. Anche io a casa ogni tanto consumo cibo surgelato ma comunque mangiabile. Un Macdonald al confronto sembra un ristorante da stella Michelin. Siamo stati al ristorante il 12/4/25 ed abbiamo preso 3 cotolette alla milanese con patate fritte. Alla fine abbiamo pagato il conto e siamo andati via. Non avevamo voglia di discutere.

03/03/2025: Sono entrato per bere un caffè. Mio figlio si è lasciato prendere la mano e ha preso un marron glacè. Alla fine abbiamo preso un caffè e un cappuccino, un piattino con dentro 9 biscottini secchi e un marron. Ho chiesto un bicchiere d'acqua ma hanno solo bottigliette da 3 euro. Alla fine ho speso 18 euro, i biscottini costavano 9 euro l'uno (di solito la pasticceria va a peso). Sono rimasto sconcertato ...

02/01/2025: Fui aquí con mi familia para tomar café y algunos pasteles, todos los cuales eran geniales, pero el servicio era antipático y bastante grosero para nosotros. Fue un fastidio porque por lo demás era un buen lugar, pero nos fuimos sintiéndonos irrespetados y no bienvenidos.

24/09/2023: Apres plus de 30 mn d.attente , nous avons eu droit a des pates trop cuites ( un comble en Italie ) et tiedes et pour un montant de 90 € sans avoir de vin mais une bouteille d.eu minerale…..restaurant a déconseiller fortement malgre une vue sur le lac magnifique mais comme il est sur un autre commentaire , cela ne fait pas tout

11/09/2023: Avant de rejoindre Ascona, nous nous sommes arrêtés pour déjeuner sur la terrasse du restaurant " Le Isole " du magnifique hôtel Villa Aminta. Nous y avons passé un excellent moment. Le cadre est absolument somptueux. C'est la grande classe et l'élégance à l'italienne. Nous nous sommes reposés dans les jardins face au lac Majeur avant de prendre un repas simple mais très bon, avec des mets savoureux, très bien cuisinés. Personnel charmant, sympathique, distingué. Vue exceptionnelle. Toute la magie des Leading Hotels of the World...

24/10/2024: E' il mio angolo di pace! Ambiente curato e familiare . Attenzione al cliente e sorrisi a gogò. Ambiente dinamico e rilassato... ottimo per staccare la spina nel fine settimana o per una pausa lavoro. Ambiente ricco di famigliole con bimbi che possono approfittare di una sicura zona pedonale per giocare e socializzare, lasciando un po di relax ai grandi. Buoni i cocktail e le proposte culinarie.

03/10/2024: Ieri sera siamo stati a cena in questo locale. Abbiamo preso fiori di zucca ripieni, pinza con la mortadella, tutto buonissimo. Siamo inoltre stati colpiti da questi ragazzi giovani molto educati e che si impegnano nel loro servizio, bravi! Consigliamo di provare a passarci una serata. Elena e Piero.
