01/05/2025: Nice place with lake view, we had lunch on the terrace and both the view and the food pleasantly surprised us. Given the tourist place we didn't expect such a good dish at an adequate price.
29/04/2025: In visita all'Isola dei Pescatori ci siamo fermati in questo bar a pranzare, posizionato con la veranda sul lago una vista impagabile, servizio celere e cibo buonissimo, un grazie speciale ad Alice che ci ha servito, anche se il locale era pieno è stata veloce e cortese, facendosi strada tra i turisti ( che non è semplice) brava brava!!

30/05/2025: Absolutely to be avoided. Obviously the location attracts you but two ice cream cups (passed off as artisanal) and two alcoholic spritz and without even a tiny cup with chips or peanuts... Never again.

08/05/2025: Unfortunately, it is not possible to give less stars. 2 bottles of water and 2 cans of Fanta, TAKE AWAY, average time in the restaurant less than 2 minutes: 14EURO. FOURTEEN
there are no excuses for a price like that. None. But then again...the name says it all

09/05/2025: You can't get one star less, a very old place in need of renovation, but what bothered me was the behavior of the staff who were annoyed when you were seated, many foreign customers who were easier to please, high prices, poor quality, poor cleanliness in general, it's just a place for foreign tourists, I don't recommend it, there is better.

16/05/2025: Terrible service — completely unacceptable behavior from the staff.
We were the only Asian group in the restaurant, and we were treated noticeably worse than other customers. Every other table was served bread — we weren’t. When we asked politely, we were met with cold, dismissive attitudes.
Most disturbingly, one of the staff actually pushed my friend instead of simply saying “excuse me.” Not a word of apology, just a look of annoyance.
It was impossible not to feel like we were being treated differently because of our race. As Asian customers, we felt unwelcome, invisible, and disrespected from the moment we walked in.
This kind of behavior is absolutely unacceptable in 2025. Whether the staff realize it or not — this is racial discrimination.
I would strongly advise others, especially Asian travelers or people of color, to avoid this place. There are many restaurants in Italy with better food and, more importantly, basic human decency.
If you care about being treated with basic respect, I would not recommend this place at all.
14/05/2025: Amazingly rude staff. A staff member accused me of taking their wifi and said “No WiFi, capitto, BYE!” I was waiting there because I had ordered food from them! And I wasn’t even connected to wifi at all. Needless to say I told them “bye” as well and that I no longer needed the food. The other staff member had rolled her eyes at me in the first place so I should have taken the hint and gone elsewhere. Don’t make my mistake.

13/04/2025: We spent a night in this place, but without using the restaurant service 🍽 (which I therefore cannot judge). Let me start by saying that in the past I have had the opportunity to try a wide range of different structures... from cabins and refuges... passing through very modest guesthouses and hostels (the latter also in places such as the suburbs of Budapest 🇭🇺, Riga 🇱🇻, Tallinn 🇪🇪 and Vilnius 🇱🇹...). In consideration of this, therefore... I won't even dwell on the infinity of small and large flaws (to use a euphemism......) of this structure, in relation to the state of the rooms 🛏 and the environments 🛋... just read several previous reviews 📝 (which I feel I can fully agree with) to get an idea. What really struck me rather, was the ABSOLUTE LACK OF TACT AND COURTESY of the staff (with the exception of the youngest girl 👩🏻, who kindly and jokingly - this must be said - showed us to our rooms). After checking in, around mid-afternoon, the owners asked us if we intended to eat there in the evening ✨; after replying that we preferred to "go for a walk around", we had the impression that our decision had at least annoyed them. Furthermore, before leaving, the older lady 👵🏻 asked us (with a severe look 🤔...): "where do you have to go?"...after explaining our intentions, the same lady added: "because here we are open until midnight 🕛". After reassuring her of this, we went out for dinner.
The next morning, ready to check out at around 8.30 🕣, we found the reception and the ground floor completely deserted, in addition to the main 🚪 door closed 🔒 (therefore without any possibility of leaving independently). After a few minutes ⏳, despite the initial amazement and doubts, we looked for and, fortunately "crossed paths", another lady 👩🏻🦱...who in a decidedly annoyed manner 😒 (this time it was certainly not a simple impression) replied: "you could have warned us before, now I'll call the owner". After a few minutes the owner 👨🏻🦱 actually came down (clearly having just gotten out of bed 🛏) and greeted us with the same cordiality: "early risers eh". Maybe he didn't consider that maybe we might just be planning to make the most of our day. We therefore hurried to pay the bill (not so modest by the way) and leave the facility. From the first to the last moment of our, albeit short, stay... I didn't see the slightest smile on the faces of the staff (with the exception of the young girl, I underline this once again) nor even that minimum of courtesy that any restaurateur/hotelier should show (if only to be able to continue to have customers). Almost (and in fact, let's remove the almost) one had to feel embarrassed 😳, if not guilty, for the fact of having allowed themselves to leave the hotel 🏨 (and perhaps, as mentioned, having dragged the staff out of bed..) at 8.30 🕣 in the morning. SIMPLY AMAZING 😱. When we came out we all breathed a sigh of relief. To put it like Dante Alighieri: "Abandon all hope, you who enter". Jokes aside...obviously NOT RECOMMENDED IN THE MOST ABSOLUTE WAY 👎.

04/11/2024: El personal, el servicio y la comida fue lo mejor que tuvimos durante nuestros viajes de 2 semanas de Roma al Lago Mayor.
Después de un corto paseo desde La Luna nel Porto, nos encontramos con La Piazzetta, donde nos recibieron cálidamente. Nuestra cena y amabilidad fue tan agradable esta primera noche, así que fuimos 2 noches más. Danilo, Enzo, y su personal nos hicieron sentir como familia cada vez. La comida era excelente, el vino era maravilloso, el helado era genial, su Lemoncello era el mejor, pero el cuidado y la atención por parte del personal era excepcional.

Llegamos a Stresa y nos dirigimos directamente a comer algo por la noche, nos encontramos aquí en la plaza.
Tuvimos 3 x Bruschetta
Beef Ragu Ravoli, Lasagne, Gnocchi and Steak Linguine.
Con 4 bebidas todo llegó a 84€ que nos pareció bastante decente.
No fue la comida más increíble que hemos probado en Italia, pero tampoco fue la peor y el personal era agradable y atento.

17/02/2025: A pranzo. Piatti buoni e veloci nel servizio. Un po’ troppo costose le birre. Un po’ di disorganizzazione ma personale gentile. Purtroppo (almeno per il mio gusto personale) troppo caos. Un posto di montagna per me è un posto dove rilassarsi dopo una bella camminata , invece, complice la possibilità di arrivare al ristorante praticamente con 2 passi dal parcheggio, troppo caos . Ma ripeto, è un difetto solo per chi come me dalla montagna cerca relax e silenzio.
26/01/2025: Ho soggiornato in questa fantastica struttura qualche settimana fa, posizzionata in vetta al monte Mottarone, personale molto gentile e attento!!!
Anzi oserei dire al di sopra di molti altri ristorati della stessa località.
Raclette eccezionale.
Consiglio a tutti, una vera esperienza di montagna!!!
Unica pecca la pessima gestione del comprensorio sciistico da parte dei Borromeo, che ovviamente don dipende dal hotel casa della neve, ma una sciata mi avrebbe fatto proprio piacere

07/05/2025: Abbiamo pranzato in questo locale durante una visita alle meravigliose Isole Borromee. Il pranzo è stato ottimo, sapori straordinari, personale eccellente, luogo da favola.
Consigliato a tutti, se, oltre alle bellezze del luogo, volete provare i buoni sapori del posto.
10/03/2025: Sono andata a pranzare in questo ristorante con vista. Il servizio era ottimo come d’altronde il cibo, che era squisito, niente da dire!!! complimenti allo chef!
