05/11/2025: True hospitality in a small hotel with a big heart. Just 2 km from Stresa, it has parking and a private beach, excellently soundproofed rooms, and a breakfast buffet with homemade pastries, cured meats and cheeses, and freshly cooked eggs.
The staff are friendly and professional, both in their welcome, room cleaning, and breakfast service. Congratulations, we'll be back!

A bit noisy on weekdays, right on the street. Parking is available across the street. Staff and manager are friendly and accommodating. They always try to accommodate.
Approximately 2 km to Stresa, not recommended for walking.
No continuous sidewalk. Part of the way is on the street.

03/10/2025: A truly beautiful location right on the lake. We had a Caesar salad and a club sandwich, everything was perfect and plentiful, fresh, and delicious. My Vono was also perfect; everything was perfect! We thought the price/performance ratio was absolutely excellent! The service was very friendly.

06/12/2025: Visited with a group of friends a few weeks ago for lunch in a deserted Stresa. Everything was excellent: the dishes, the platter, and the wine. The girls were super friendly and knowledgeable. We had a wonderful time. Thank you!
29/11/2025: A lovely wine shop with a wide selection of wines and excellent platters. There were four of us, and we ordered a half-meter and had a nice selection of carefully selected, high-quality products. Then we ordered the specials of the day: two polenta and Zola and two chestnut and Zola gnocchi, and everything was delicious.
Thanks to the owner (I think) who also recommended a pastry shop for margheritine.
A recommended place if you're in Stresa and looking for something traditional and different from the usual restaurants.

28/10/2025: We were there for lunch with friends. The location is superb: a lovely garden near the lake with vines and a stunning view. The food was very good: shout out to the risotto. The service was perfect: kind and attentive. The price was high but not overpriced.

23/11/2025: We stopped here as a couple on a Sunday in November and had a plate of fusilli with lake fish ragù and green tagliatelle with artichokes and lake fish.
Both dishes were very good and of high quality.
The fusilli menu included lemon cake and a cover charge.
The place has indoor space but also a terrace overlooking the lake, where we sat in the sun, and despite it being November, we had a great time.
A pleasant discovery. We paid about €25 each, including water, two coffees, and a bunet (a drink not on the menu).

16/10/2025: I've always had a great time at Chicco and his wife, who run this place. I'll have to return soon because I'm accompanying a local gentleman who rents Antonioli quads to create a video of a ride up Mottarone. It's a great idea to stop here for lunch.

09/11/2025: Hadn’t booked a table but they did fit us in. Busy when we arrived which made getting drinks and ordering a little slow. Drank some wonderful local red wine, food was really very social, my risotto was outstanding and we would certainly return again.

02/11/2025: Delicious, delightful. It was a dreary, rainy afternoon and the restaurant was a good respite from the weather. My husband had the venison ragú over tagliatelle with a blueberry sauce. I had the sea bass with potatoes. Both were delicious. We started with a pumpkin flan which we would recommend. The wait staff were attentive, engaging and put up with our poor attempts at Italian. It was a wonderful afternoon.
27/10/2025: A wonderful evening in a very pleasant restaurant and with an unforgettable culinary experience. It was beautiful and very, very, very good. Bravo and thank you to the whole team!

I ordered a Prosciutto di Parma pizza and I must say it was extraordinary: light, crispy, and fragrant dough, ultra-fresh ingredients, and perfectly balanced flavors. Every bite is an explosion of flavor!
The restaurant at Via Giuseppe Mazzini, 29, Canzo is welcoming and immediately exudes an authentic atmosphere. This isn't just any pizza, but pure art: tradition, passion, and attention to detail that few can match.

The ravioli porcini tasted okay, albeit somewhat sparsely filled. The tagliatelle porcini seemed plain, almost too minimalist, which is disappointing given the prices. The portions are also rather small, which doesn't justify the whole experience. Overall, it's solid, but the prices are too high for what's on offer.
