08/05/2025: We really appreciated the quality of the dishes, all well executed and with excellent ingredients. Even though the restaurant was fully booked, the service was impeccable: attentive, courteous and well organised. We had to wait a bit before being served, but the wait was repaid by the goodness of the dishes. The only small regret was the position of our table, which did not allow us to enjoy the view of the lake, one of the distinctive elements of the place. In any case, the quality-price ratio is absolutely adequate for the experience offered.

Despite the crowd we didn't have to wait long for a table inside, the wait for the dishes was average and the quality was truly excellent

19/04/2025: If you go to Stresa, stop by this restaurant, and don't forget to try the gnocchi. According to my husband and daughter, who eat them all the time, they are some of the best they have ever eaten. Tender, tasty and with a spectacular sauce. The vitello tonnato was also a delicious surprise: fine meat, mild taste and well balanced with the sauce, as it should be. The place has a charming family atmosphere and the treatment is very close and friendly. They make you feel at home from the first moment. A totally recommended place to eat well and have a good time.

From the moment you arrive, you are charmed by the peaceful atmosphere and the breathtaking view. The flavors are subtle, the products very fresh, and the presentation worthy of a great chef. The staff, for their part, are up to the task: attentive, smiling and always offering good advice. 29/04/2025: Another holiday in Stresa and this time it was only a two-year break. The first dinner was of course at il Vicoletto and, of course, we were completely thrilled again. The food and service are simply fantastic. Eating with friends and having fun! Consistently very high standards for years, for us the first address in Stresa and far beyond! Moni and Max and their team are simply the best! Don't forget to reserve!!!

11/05/2025: Productos de calidad alta pero precios demasiado altos frente al tipo de comidas ofrecidas (al menos para los platos con mariscos). Por ejemplo, seleccionamos una "meseta" de pescado crudo que por 60 euros era de calidad muy buena pero no tan rica tanto en cantidad como en tamaño de cada artículo.

10/05/2025: We had a wonderful taste menu lunch. We chose the modern option and got interesting interpretation of the lively chef. We like the fact the chef was serving the dishes explaining and having a small talk. We learnt the fishes source is mainly Sicily and not the lake. Over all the food was tasty, we got several techniques of the same fish which was nice. We were lacking a bit more of everything the toppings and the sauces to make the dishes and flavours more rich. For the cold starter we got lumberjack sashimi which was fresh and good but could enjoy more olive oil and tomatos. For the warm starter we got cuttlefish with Katsuobushi (dried Japanese fish) it was a refreshing topping to the delicate cuttlefish, again a bit more sauce would make it better. For the secondi we got sea food ravioli which was very delicious. The main dish was beautiful fried lumberjack which was very tender. For desert we got a delicious apple pie with ice cream. All the pleasure with a nice local wine and tip was 100 each.

22/04/2025: The food was only okay for a 5-star hotel! Service was good, but it felt more like being ripped off. It felt like a mass-production operation! In the bar, you're bombarded with piano music that's way too loud. A relaxed atmosphere with quiet conversation? None of that! It's better to drive a little further out (5 minutes from there) to the 5-star Villa Aminta.
