03/11/2024: Thank you for existing! ❤️ All my life I thought that river fish couldn't be as tasty as sea fish, but this restaurant convinced me. We might have waited a little longer for the food to arrive, but that's understandable because it was very crowded on a Sunday early afternoon. Food and drink prices are moderate for Italy, but the food is worth every cent. 🔝🔝🔝

21/11/2024: The best sandwiches in the area, from classic to vegetarian. They are all made with fresh local products and with excellent combinations. The owner Luca is nice and kind to me, he treats me very well and is available in case of requests.

19/10/2024: Congratulations to the Manager! Guy... nice, kind and polite! Location..very nice, colorful and particular! Even relaxing...eating an excellent sandwich with live music in the center of Stresa...listening to it from the particular balcony of this place! I'll tell you more.. you can eat a sandwich of any size you want.. And above all you are a stone's throw from the lake...and the pier...special!! Bravo!! Here are photos of the sandwiches.. they are not needed.. they are good.

04/12/2024: Il Vicoletto est pour nous un lieu incontournable de Stresa lorsque nous recherchons une trattoria familiale de qualité. Tout y est frais et savoureux. L'accueil est chaleureux et bien loin de la médiocrité des restaurants de la Piazza Cadorna.

07/11/2024: Nice small place, massive wine list. Only negative was the over the top €3pp cover charge, and the possibility of recycling the "bread in the bag". That looks suspicious.

28/08/2024: It is recommended to reserve a table outside by telephone. The selection of different dishes is good and sufficient. The service is consistently very friendly and helpful. The prices are reasonable for the quality of the food. The view over Lake Maggiore is impressive and rounds off a visit to this restaurant perfectly.

26/08/2024: Went with my wife this evening blindly and without booking. We were lucky that even though it was full they gave us a very panoramic table. Impeccable and friendly owner and staff. Not least the food, truly excellent and quality at reasonable prices... Thank you!

26/10/2024: I had the pleasure of dining at this restaurant with a friend in August. I had never been there. The venue is tastefully furnished, with attention to every detail, from the combination of pastel colors to the choice of cones of shadow and light. The cuisine is of a high standard. The wide range of dishes described in a refined way immediately raises the level of expectation. The experience on the palate goes further. The flavors blend in an explosion of pleasure. The wine list is up to par. The service is also adequate. I will definitely come back.

20/10/2024: The food and the place are not bad but the service is very cold and the owner with her fake smile is very clever because we split the bill and she thought it best to round it up in her favour, not to give the receipt and we paid in cash!! Terrible, shameful and unprofessional attitude!!!

16/11/2024: We had lunch at this restaurant attracted by the reviews and I must say that we were not disappointed. Very welcoming restaurant as well as the staff. Delicious food cooked with love. Very honest price taking into account the quality.

12/11/2024: Parmi les rares restaurants de Stresa ouverts à cette période... ambiance bistrot et cuisine familiale revendiquée. Assiette saucisse /polenta et chataignes généreuse et gouteuse. Filet de porc à la moutarde un peu décevant. Service efficace et souriant.

16/10/2024: Excellent pub in Stresa, probably the only one, if you want to eat a little later (all the restaurants close early) and want to spend the right amount this is a great place, the sandwiches are good, excellent choice of beers and good atmosphere

20/08/2024: Fantastic food, excellent service and wonderful atmosphere in the restaurant made our family dinner for 9 people memorable. The chef is an experienced maestro in the kitchen who explained the menu options in detail and catered to our individual needs. The staff was very friendly and attentive and the food was absolutely delicious. Thank you for a wonderful evening!

01/09/2024: I recommend the meat matured for 40 days, served with salardaise potatoes with pepper and rosemary, very good cooking and accompaniment. Although good, the fried fish seems a little expensive to me, for the quantity served. The tables on the terrace overlook a quiet pedestrian alley. Very good service. I recommend

12/11/2024: Rare, voire seul restaurant ouvert sur l'ile à cette période. La météo permet de déjeuner au bord de l'eau: nappes à carreaux et moineaux sur la table (à défaut d'hirondelles , mascottes du restaurant) Lasagnes, perches bien cuisinées. Service sympathique mais impossible de pratiquer son italien dans une région ou la plupart des interlocuteurs connaissent le vocabulaire français de leur secteur..

10/11/2024: Pur essendo arrivati alle 14 , ci trovano un piccolo tavolo e con tanta gentilezza e professionalità ci fanno accomodare . Gustoso antipasto di pesci di lago , ottimo risotto alla milanese con ossobuco e altrettanto buono tiramisù…..il tutto condito da garbo e cortesia 😊

17/11/2024: We went to this restaurant for lunch where we were offered an appetizer not written on the menu. Mazara del vallo prawn tartare, not knowing what it cost (we took two appetizers) nothing to say it was good then a first tagliolini carbonara del lago €14 good, when we go to pay the price of an appetizer at €40 each, we really didn't expect it, exaggerated I would have said €25 but €40 absolutely no, but then I say how can you propose an appetizer with a price like that without letting us know first??? we found it unfair, a restaurant with no lake view, and with a poor antique style, disappointed by the excessive price and above all not mentioned before

08/07/2024: Luogo incantevole e con vista bellissima sul lago. Il personale è molto gentile e disponibile. Abbiamo mangiato benissimo ed il rapporto qualità-prezzo è invidiabile. La cameriera,avendo sentito che era il nostro secondo anniversario, ci ha apposto a sorpresa una candelina con numerino su entrambi i dolci; attenzioni difficili da trovare oggigiorno. Sicuramente torneremo di nuovo,e lo consiglio vivamente.

06/07/2024: Spettacolare sia il panorama che l’ambiente che il servizio. Di fatto è un vero piacere pranzare con una vista che ti porta fuori dalla realtà ma anche cenare con un tramonto splendido accompagnato dalle luci del lago che ti danno un dono indimenticabile

10/12/2024: The place is at the northern end of the island and the view is very nice, but the attention of the employees is poor, the products are of medium quality and the prices are high. Although there were few customers in early December, service was poor.

03/12/2024: Like all the places on the fishing island, it enjoys a breathtaking view, the managers are friendly, the food is simple but good, especially the perch.
