22/06/2025: Ate here for two weeks straight (work-related booking) and tried pretty much everything on the (regularly) rotating menu. Simple piemontese food elevated to perfection and friendly service as well. I’ll be back!

22/06/2025: A true gem in the heart of San Salvario, Le Putrelle turned out to be the perfect choice for our dinner with friends. The setting, with its vaulted ceilings that recall 19th-century architecture, creates a simple yet elegant and welcoming atmosphere, ideal for spending a pleasant evening in company. But the real strong point, without a shadow of a doubt, is Piedmontese cuisine. I found a gastronomic proposal that enhances the traditions of the area with authentic flavors and raw materials of the highest quality. The idea of ​​being able to choose between "cit" (small) and "gros" (large) portions is brilliant and allows you to taste more specialties without feeling heavy. We started with an exceptional Misto della Sinoira, a true palette of Piedmontese flavors: from Russian salad to green tomini, from anchovies in green bagnetto to old-fashioned veal with tuna sauce, every bite was a hymn to tradition. The "la Granda" Fassone tartare, tender and tasty, was another revelation. Among the first courses, the agnolotti del plin were simply perfect, cooked to perfection and filled with an enveloping flavor. And what about the braised beef in Barolo? A meat that melted in the mouth, enhanced by the intense aroma of the wine, a true masterpiece of Piedmontese cuisine. The service was impeccable: courteous, attentive and never intrusive, helping to make the evening even more special. Even the selection of wines, with an eye to small producers, fits perfectly with the philosophy of the place. In short, Le Putrelle is a culinary experience that I highly recommend to anyone who wants to immerse themselves in the authentic flavors of Piedmont, in a pleasant atmosphere and with a truly excellent quality-price ratio. We will definitely be back!

03/06/2025: We stayed on Largo IV Marzo for a week and a half and ate out around here most nights. Two restaurants stood out and one was Bistrot Caffe della Basilica. The other was Casa Broglia. We had dinner twice at both of these - food, wine, service all really good. We also had lunch at Le Sorelle several times and recommend it.

04/04/2025: It's been a year now since Turin became part of the cities that crossed paths with my destiny, and I've been living here permanently for almost two months. A year ago, in November, just in these days, I arrived in the city for the first time for work reasons. In the evening, when I went out for dinner, I was directed to this small restaurant, not far from the hotel where I was staying. Already from the outside the place conveyed pleasant sensations, due to the contrast between the cold and darkness outside and the warmth of the lights of the chandeliers which, through the glass, showed the room and the people sitting inside. Since I entered that evening, Paolo's small restaurant has become for me, as it is for many, the usual place. Politeness, friendliness, informality, familiarity. There is no search for perfection, but for authenticity. The idea is to vary at least a good part of the menu almost daily to offer different dishes and fresh ingredients, according to the seasons, availability and even ideas, so that neither customers nor owners can get bored. Moving on to the gist: the dishes are tasty, well cooked and the portions are generous; the prices are more than fair. My friend, it's always a pleasure to come back. Henry

22/06/2025: Piedmontese restaurant a stone's throw from the central market of Porta Palazzo. The restaurant is rustic, the decor is modern and welcoming with original details. The à la carte menu has excellent proposals, they also offer Bourguignon and Raclette upon reservation at least a few days in advance. The dishes are all tasty and well made.

17/06/2025: Few restaurants in Turin take care of the details like their high-level location with a selected menu curated by experienced chefs. Excellent choice of wines. Friendly waiting staff always with a smile in particular Pasquale the manager kind person but above all prepared and welcoming. If you want to eat quality I highly recommend.

28/06/2025: A Piedmontese experience not to be missed. I have been to this Typical Piedmontese restaurant and I found it truly exceptional. Every detail, from the particularities of the furnishings to the arrangement of the tables, contributes to creating a truly welcoming environment. You can see that there is so much care in every corner. But what makes this place special is the union between the excellence of the cuisine and the extraordinary hospitality of the owners. Their kindness, availability and passion are palpable, and made the dinner even more enjoyable. They told us the history of their restaurant and literally fascinated us! It is beautiful to see how much love they put into it. Everything we ate was delicious and you can immediately understand that they use excellent ingredients. And I cannot fail to mention the ZABAIONE: it is amazing, one of the best I have ever tasted! Creamy, tasty, absolutely a must try if you go there. In short, an experience that I recommend to everyone.

19/07/2025: Well located in a Little piazza of Torino, this small restaurant is a must : the service is suuuuper nice and french speaking, great cooking (from Bologna if I remember well) at a reasonnable price. We had a great time there and strongly recomend it. Grazie mille !

13/07/2025: I had dinner with my husband. We had the "le merende" appetizer (some light fried gnocchi and excellent fried fish, along with a sampling of scquaquerone cheese, fig jam, pieces of piadina, balsamic vinegar-marinated onions, and slices of torta pasqualina) and a first course (I had the typical "raviolini" with red sauce and grated lemon zest, and my husband had a typical pasta dish that looked like a risotto). Everything was very good, except my husband's first course was a bit too peppery. I drank a glass of Sangiovese in the typical bowl. First, we were offered a welcome appetizer. We were very satisfied and plan to return.
