14/09/2025: I've been calling myself a pizza sommelier since the 1980s. Few pizzerias today know the secret to a great pizza dough: this takeout pizzeria does. I always order the marinara, not only because I'm vegan, but as a pizza sommelier, I don't let too many ingredients fool me. Tomato, oil, and basil are all you need to judge a pizza, and these guys make a truly delicious one. They also offer farinata, the size of a small pan, and I often order that too.

21/10/2025: A great place to spend a lovely evening, and on weekends there's live music, though not always if you catch the right one. Jazz is a regular fixture, featuring top-notch artists. Affordable prices and delicious food... the farinata is excellent. First courses? What can I say?

18/10/2025: Good pizzeria and excellent appetizers. The price is so ridiculous that I asked the owner to re-check the bill because I thought it was too low, but he didn't even ask for a single euro more. It's his place and he does what he wants, but I don't know how he manages to stay open and serve good food at that price.

04/10/2025: IMPRESSIVE. It's worth coming to Turin just to eat here. I was tremendously surprised... A very curated wine list and best of all... served by someone who knows wine. A true pleasure. And the food... I'd beat the chef on my shoulders... Unbeatable service. A year later we're back... incredible. Grateful. I've returned a year later... 17/09/2025: Excellent restaurant! I went there with my mother because it's one of her favorites. The ingredients are top-quality and the dishes are truly exquisite: we ate wonderfully. The staff is very friendly, and I found the idea of ​​listing the names of those serving us and those working in the kitchen on the menu to be original and thoughtful, a sign of great care and transparency. During lunch, they also brought us various types of bread and breadsticks, a much-appreciated detail. The restaurant is charming: small but elegant, with a warm and refined atmosphere.

23/10/2025: It's hard to understand why the restaurant is listed in the Michelin Guide. For our first course, we ordered the Plin pasta with roast gravy. The gravy was a cross between a broth and a gravy and had a decidedly over-the-top flavor, unsuitable for pasta. The second course, braised cheek, had a tough crust and plenty of fat. All of this was served at a remarkable speed. The table, near the kitchen (without a door), didn't help the evening. At least it was short.

22/10/2025: Madama Piola is a modern trattoria located in the streets of San Salvario, with a contemporary feel and exquisite furnishings. All three of us opted for the menu item, which consists of three savory dishes, dessert, and coffee. The only restriction? Everyone must choose the same dish. Choosing is difficult, not in quantity, but in quality: all the dishes on the menu would make even the most novice palate swoon. We certainly chose very well, with an elaborate yet uncomplicated stuffed onion, plin pasta with a tear-inducing pastry, and venison with mushrooms that would make even those raised on bread and grilled chicken breast love game. Let's not even talk about the desserts; they're simply delicious. Seriously, Madama Piola's offering is clear: traditional dishes, yes, with some reinterpretations, but without falling into the complexities of flavor that sometimes leave something to be desired. In short, a pure distillation of the "Modern Piola" concept. All this, with punctual (but a little slow) service and a fair price, commensurate with the experience.

14/10/2025: On the morning of the 8th, my friends and I had breakfast at your place. All three of us ordered avocado toast with poached eggs and salmon. We didn’t eat anywhere else that day, and by the evening, all three of us became seriously ill — fever, diarrhea, and stomach pain. All symptoms point to salmonella. We had planned to visit Milan and Como, but instead, we saw a hotel room, pills, antibiotics for salmonella, high fever up to 39°C, and three days of feeling awful, barely eating, and drinking liters of water — all in a foreign country. We’ve already spent €200 on treatment. My friend Sasha has already written a review below, and you haven’t even replied — that’s not right. If you serve eggs, you must follow proper hygiene and disinfection procedures. We’re very disappointed with our visit to your restaurant.

18/09/2025: Ordered two graduation cakes... there was nothing left: there must be a reason!!! Anyway, very good product; simple but beautiful decoration. They were very professional and kind in accommodating our requests, offering advice, and taking the time to deliver to the party location, despite the difficulties due to traffic closures and pedestrian zones!! The guests loved it and it was the perfect end to the party. Thank you.

07/08/2025: Nice atmosphere. Friendly and helpful staff. Good food with interesting combinations. Extensive wine list; we tried a special Timorasso. Definitely worth returning.

25/07/2025: We ended up at Osteria Torino because another restaurant was full. We were thrilled with this alternative and had a delicious meal with a superb wine pairing. We'd love to return in the future.

14/09/2025: Highly recommended for those who want to try a variety of draft beers. The beers on tap are always different, good quality, and not found in other pubs in Turin. The food is good, but I find it a bit pricey compared to other similar establishments.

20/08/2025: It's always a confirmation. Unfortunately, due to the distance, I can't go often, but when I can, it's pleasant. Different beers for different tastes. The food doesn't disappoint either. Obviously, when it's crowded, you have to be a little patient to be served, but that's part of the deal, and the wait isn't very long. Anyway, it's worth it. The prices are average. The staff is very kind and helpful. They explain the flavors and quality of the beer so you can choose the one that suits your tastes. Don't forget, see you there.

12/10/2025: Trattoria Pop is family, it's home, it's the place I love, where I return every time I want to be pampered. The cuisine is above average, the wait staff is professional and friendly... and what can I say about the chef? Wonderful! If you're looking for a trattoria where you can feel at home, this is the place for you!

This evening, for the first time I went to this place with a friend, I ordered a slice of meat (the most expensive on the menu) and I was very hungry, when the slice arrived I was a little disappointed by the quantity of meat (I swear, I'm honest, not because I was hungry, I evaluated!) but the real problem is that the meat was inexplicably cold, really cold, obviously it can happen, especially on a Saturday night, at this point, I make a mistake, rather than send the meat back, I decide to eat it because my stomach was burning at that moment, but I was really annoyed, we are all willing to pay for something that shows quality and the right quantity, but at that moment while I was eating, for me both elements were missing that would justify how much I would have paid for that dish. Remaining hungry, both my colleague and I decided to order another dish to share. At that point, I pointed out that even though I had finished my dish, it was really cold. The owner (or manager, I don't know) first listened to me, then expressed apology, saying he could have made up for it if I had only pointed it out sooner. After that, he also performed the most professional gesture I'd ever experienced in a similar situation (which was absolutely not expected or appropriate, given that I hadn't even sent the dish back). I won't go into the merits or specifics, because I believe every restaurateur knows how to distinguish and recognize the different contexts in their establishment and how to act correctly. But for my part, I absolutely must commend the enormous professionalism I encountered in handling this situation. Congratulations. I will visit you again because every dish that came out of the kitchen looked fantastic and the service was impeccable. Beautiful and well-kept establishment. Highly recommended.

30/09/2025: Friendly. Expensive. Average quality. Small portions. For example: homeopathic porcini risotto with porcini mushrooms added afterward, not cooked in the risotto... I don't recommend it. It's one of those places where I say to myself: it would have been better to cook and eat at home...
