28/09/2025: The restaurant is located inside the Galleria Subalpina. The location is beautiful, with high ceilings that lend a very formal and elegant feel. I ordered the Piedmontese meat-based menu and was pleased with the vitello tonnato and the dessert (gianduia mousse), but less so with the plin (a bit tough) and the braised beef (too acidic for my taste). The service was efficient but could use some professionalism. There's also a lovely internal patio.

04/10/2025: Nice place and good food. I wish it had been a little more seasoned, as salt is practically nonexistent, if not in almost every dish. This was a bit disappointing, as a little salt is needed. However, condiments are provided. The prices are reasonable for the location, and the staff is friendly and helpful.

27/09/2025: I've been to this lovely restaurant several times for work, located in the heart of the multi-ethnic Porta Palazzo - Baloon district. It's a small menu, but perfectly cooked. The cuisine is predominantly Piedmontese, especially the appetizers, but with French and Arabic influences. The agnolotti are excellent. The decor is beautiful, very tastefully done, with a touch of shabby chic. The bathroom is spotless, and the portions and prices are fair. Last but not least, the waitress in charge: excellent, very kind... and beautiful!

08/10/2025: What can I say... a fantastic experience! 🍕 The fried pizza is truly the bomb: crispy on the outside, soft and super tasty on the inside, with a rich and flavorful filling. Honestly, the best I've ever eaten. The chiacchiere are also worth it: light, fragrant, and perfect for sharing. The place is welcoming and pleasant, the staff is friendly and always smiling. You can tell that quality and passion for pizza are paramount here. Plus, the prices are super fair for the quality—excellent food without breaking the bank. Highly recommended for anyone who wants to try a truly Neapolitan pizza made properly! 👌

12/07/2025: I've already been to Vecchio Aratro twice, thanks to a neighbor of mine. The cooking is homely. Good selection of appetizers, first courses of decent quality. They don't skimp on second helpings when requested. Desserts and liqueurs galore. The fixed price is 20 euros, even on Fridays for dinner, for a good meal. Kudos to Dino, the long-time owner, and to Marika, the very sweet Moroccan waitress.

11/10/2025: We went to Frigo Madre and had a wonderful meal! The vegetarian lasagna, vegetable meatballs, and stuffed peppers (also vegetarian) were truly delicious! The service was exceptional, and the waiter was super friendly. I highly recommend this place!

10/10/2025: Three quarters of an hour to take an order, bring a slice of cake I'm allergic to, bring it back, and even make me pay for it. Embarrassing!

30/09/2025: The place was dirty; there wasn't a single table free of cups, mugs, or glasses from previous customers (despite no tables being occupied). I asked the waitress about some allergens in the cakes; she couldn't answer; in fact, she was almost shocked by my question. I was served a slice of cake and a cappuccino in a lipstick-stained cup. After a quarter of an hour, I managed to get it remade in a clean cup, even though the cake was already gone. Terrible organization; all I saw was people eating behind that counter and a poor girl pacing back and forth alone in the dining room. See you never again.

He brings the dishes from the kitchen and serves it with a smile. It’s priced fairly . Hand written bill .Total Italian local style . Go for it

21/10/2025: The place is beautiful, welcoming, rustic, the food is good, but what prices and what a wait guys! The second courses go over 30 euros, and to eat the first courses (good nothing to say) you have to wait an hour!
