08/12/2024: New discovery, a small group of friends (14) looking for a place to have dinner without a reservation... all ok, food, owner, environment... only flaw, local temperature a bit low!

14/04/2025: Pleasant restaurant with almost impossible to find traditional dishes: Batsoà, snails, freshly made apple fritters. Very courteous service. The closed and heated outdoor terrace is beautiful. To return.

17/05/2025: In the largest market square in Europe, there is the central market of Turin. A structure composed of two floors, many spaces where you can eat from meat to fish passing through desserts and pizza. Not too cheap, good food attentive and kind staff

23/04/2025: Very nice summer location. The chef is Egyptian so some dishes are not Italian. Spectacular baked potatoes. Very good puree. Vitello tonnato not homemade, it seems like it was taken from the supermarket with commercial sauce on top. Don't take it. 8 euros wasted. I was sick. The plins with roast sauce are very, very good

16/05/2025: Looking for a rock/metal place in Milan? Well, that's the place! They have a nice menu, a friendly staff and, well, beers. You might need to brush up on your Italian as it's not in a touristic area and not everyone there is comfortable with English. Staff was friendly and welcoming despite the language barrier.

13/05/2025: Probably the Gotha of Turin's beer halls. I've been going there for over 30 years. Food (anything), from pasta, meat or pizza, very good. I recommend trying the pizza if you like the thin type. I didn't judge the environment because being very "underground" it might not be liked, I love it.

05/05/2025: il y a toujours du monde qui fait la queue pour trouver une place. C’est un signe. Accueil chaleureux. Carte variée et suivant la tradition italienne (1er plat, 2ème plat) ce qui est classique ET également une longue carte de pizzas, ce qui est moins classique. Les quantités sont gargantuesques donc attention avant de commander 😉

19/04/2025: Very welcoming, they don't do table service but even with a coffee you can stay seated at the table for hours. Obviously there shouldn't be too much crowding. Excellent croissants and coffee

02/04/2025: I went to this place today for a business lunch and I ordered a tartare: from the looks of it it wasn't at all inviting and I mentioned this to the waitress. She almost angrily takes the plate away, then comes back and tells me that their meat is packaged and opened every day, too bad it didn't look very inviting. The biggest surprise at the checkout: I also had to pay even though I hadn't eaten my meal. Dispassionate advice: avoid. I would like to say that it also doesn't seem correct to say that I complained about not paying, given that it was a company lunch and I would have received a refund from the company anyway. :)

24/05/2025: I had an aperitif at Porta Disnè and I can only recommend it to everyone! The environment is welcoming, clean and well-furnished. The aperitif food was fabulous, the ingredients on the cutting board show a certain care in the search for raw materials with fresh and delicious cheeses/salami. The cuoppo was another nice surprise, a light and tasty fry. Last but not least, very kind staff!

23/05/2025: I discovered this pastry shop by chance and what a pleasant surprise! I bought some sweet little biscuits there that I absolutely loved. The bottom line is that I went back several times during my stay. It was fresh and varied in price. A delight! 😋😍 All this in an elegant setting. Note: you can also buy pastries and have a drink there (tea room).

06/05/2025: Terrible service, food reheated in the microwave and not even good. I don't have photos of the dishes because it wasn't worth taking for the taste or the presentation. I put 1 star because 0 is not possible. We were fooled by the positive reviews. I would rather spend 10 euros more but eat well elsewhere.
