24/08/2025: Turin's green island. A different place where you forget the city, but you can still see its skyline at sunset. We had a great time. The service from the young and attentive girls was very punctual.

03/07/2025: Nice place, with the restaurant part hidden behind the shop. Excellent choice of wines (obviously!), we received excellent advice and suggestions. On the menu side, there were also some nice suggestions, everything we tasted was delicious. The guys were very nice. The bill was completely honest and proportionate to what we took. Quiet and fresh atmosphere (37°C outside, inside it was great...). Highly recommended!

12/07/2025: A true trattoria. Small but welcoming. You can choose from an extensive à la carte menu or the daily menu for a quicker and more affordable meal. There's a small outdoor garden, tucked away from the main restaurant. The owner is incredibly kind.

07/08/2025: Barricata is a historic venue in the Vanchiglia neighborhood. The three women who run it are fantastic. The food is good, as are the beers and cocktails. The atmosphere is typical of Turin's slightly underground bars. Customers range from young students to older people, so to speak. In short, it's not just a place for kids. I recommend the aperitivo with the famous Mangiucchi. For me, it's a cult place for socializing in Turin. There's a lovely outdoor terrace. Parking is also available in the evening.

18/07/2025: I visited this place for a stand-up comedy evening; the show was very entertaining and well-organized. Unfortunately, I can't say the same about the service, which was disappointing in every way. I had reserved a table for six. Upon arrival, they seated me, but shortly afterward moved me to a larger table with ten seats, which we ended up sharing with four strangers. From then on, it was a series of poor service. We waited almost an hour before our order was taken, repeatedly calling a waiter who was clearly struggling to manage the room. We ordered two promotional platters (a platter + Ceres for €18 each, for one person instead of two) and several drinks. The other diners also ordered a platter. Result: only one platter arrived. The waiter told us it was for two people, so we accepted, even though €36 for a mediocre dish, served quickly and with little attention to detail, seemed excessive. The drinks, including an IPA and a Coke, never arrive. The other guests at the table abandon their platters, also annoyed by the disorganization. When it's time to pay, we're annoyed and told that the table total is €165 and that they don't accept separate bills—a questionable statement, especially considering they've seated us with strangers. We ask for the receipt to check the bill and notice that it lists three platters and drinks we never received. After initially appearing to correct the mistake, the waiter comes back and claims that the platter we received was actually "for three people," claiming that "they usually make large platters." A rather ridiculous excuse, given the obvious mistake. Finally, so as not to completely ruin the evening, we decide to pay. We basically spent €54 for three Ceres wines and a mediocre platter, which, if we're being generous, was worth maybe €20. I understand that there can be difficult evenings, but disorganization and poor management shouldn't be passed on to the customer. A reputable venue would have acknowledged the mistake and tried to remedy it, not insisted on €18 with unreliable explanations. Conclusion: out of 10 people seated at that table, none will return. The venue was unreasonably expensive, the service terrible. It's a shame, because the show was beautiful – but it was organized by outsiders. I'll follow the event to other locations in the future. Never again.

09/06/2025: Excellent cannoli, freshly fried and filled on the spot; the ricotta ravioli were also excellent, also filled on the spot; it just so happens that there were also some ready-made arancini with ragù (he told me that he usually only makes them to order) and I found these to be excellent, genuine and above all well fried (they were not greasy). The owner is a very kind man from Messina; while we were waiting for him to prepare the cannoli and ravioli, he offered a small taste of cannoli to us and to a small family (with children) who were waiting. I believe that the quality of his products is the best in all of Turin, it is a small pastry shop that is absolutely worth a visit... I forgot to point out that I am a demanding Sicilian.

12/06/2025: It is always magnificent and welcoming, now a regular stop with friends, delicious delicacies that can also replace a dinner or lunch, we have tasted everything over time, from pasta to pizza to main courses and desserts, all of excellent quality and very good everything. Delicious cocktails and there is always a great choice of beers, excellent for all types of tastes. The only flaw is that inside in the lower part there is a lot of chaos and you can barely talk, but obviously it is given by the number of people and the great racket that is created. We return as always :)

05/06/2025: The "tasty" burger with Piedmontese Fassona beef was excellent, definitely well stuffed. Good choice of beers. Quick service despite the crowded place. They should work a bit on the background noise, impossible to talk without raising the tone 🙄

22/06/2025: I was very disappointed by the crocche' sold as fresh, that is, made on the spot, instead it arrived reheated. In the Neapolitan tradition, reheated crocche' does not exist, so I cannot go beyond 3 stars. The crocche is fried on the spot, also because it does not take more than 3/4 minutes to cook it. As for the cuzzetiello, good but nothing special, maybe it could please those who try it for the first time. It did not excite me. A little poor in content.
