29/09/2025: Excellent venue in every way. We celebrated my husband's 60th birthday on Saturday evening. It was truly wonderful, from the excellent food to the beautiful music. Valentina, the host and owner of the venue, is also a wonderful singer. Compliments to her and her staff. Highly recommended.

19/10/2025: We loved it; the menu is fantastic. For dinner, we chose the shorter version and it was a great choice. All the dishes were delicious, with interesting, well-balanced flavors. The wine list is also excellent. It's a highly recommended place.

18/10/2025: We went to this restaurant for lunch and chose the mini tasting menu: simply fantastic! Every dish, from the first to the last, was a true discovery of flavor and quality. The attention to presentation and the balanced flavors demonstrate the great care and passion in the kitchen. The value for money is truly exceptional—it's hard to beat. Special praise also goes to the waiter, who was extremely kind and professional, and who expertly explained each course to us, making the experience even more enjoyable. I absolutely recommend trying it, and we'll definitely be back soon!

12/10/2025: I hosted my sister's bachelorette party here, and I couldn't have chosen a better place! I'd been preparing everything since June, and despite the long time that had passed and a few unexpected events that forced me to reschedule, the staff was always incredibly kind and helpful. I'm from Milan, so organizing from afar wasn't easy, but it was definitely worth it. The venue is welcoming, well-kept, and immersed in a completely medieval atmosphere: from the decor to the menu. We had a fun evening, full of laughter and anecdotes, thanks in part to the friendliness and helpfulness of the entire staff, who made us feel immediately at ease. My only regret is that I live so far away, because I would love to return! If you love a medieval setting or simply want to experience a different kind of evening, I absolutely recommend it! ❤️

09/10/2025: The restaurant is truly unique, the only one in Turin with a medieval atmosphere and a unique menu. The selection of dishes varies according to the season, with the exception of some bestsellers, which are unique because they're cooked with medieval twists. They're truly excellent! The drinks are traditional, but you can also find more classic ones. The owners are wonderful: Daniela and Alberto are down-to-earth, friendly, and attentive to their customers. They also often host truly wonderful themed events; the best I've ever attended are undoubtedly the dinner in the dark, held in the basement of the restaurant, and the various murder mystery dinners, featuring stories and characters written by Alberto!

16/10/2025: Excellent welcome, we took the large menu, and even if it was the third course that really delighted us (fish tartare with guacamole), our taste buds became more and more amused over time. Original cuisine, so difficult to find in Italy. Bravo 👏

09/09/2025: The pizza is definitely good, but we ordered one, and he got 2 out of 6 wrong... Recapping it, we realized one was wrong, and he asked us for money for the "additional charge"... Shocked, we went home and discovered another was wrong, too. Okay, maybe another time, but for a €50 pizza, it seems embarrassing to ask for €1.

06/10/2025: In Turin, honestly, I would have expected much more. A restaurant that claims to be fine dining should offer carefully prepared dishes and recognizable flavors, but unfortunately, the experience here was quite different. Overall, the dishes are bland, even in taste: lacking in energy, character, and a general feeling of "dated" but executed without passion. The mushroom tart, for example, could have been a pleasant autumn dish, but it's reduced to a bland preparation with a simple dash of mushroom flavor that doesn't live up to the promise of its name. The ravioli del plin, then, are completely off the mark: large, thick, with a flavorless, indistinct filling. Nothing in common with Piedmontese tradition, neither in form nor in taste. Even more disappointing is the wine list—or rather, the difficulty in navigating a selection that, while extensive, doesn't seem carefully crafted. In Turin, where excellent winemaking is a household name, one expects much greater attention and expertise in the selection. Overall, the experience was disappointing from start to finish. The service was courteous but distant, the ambience lacking any particular distinction, and above all, the cuisine left no desire to return. A shame, it completely lacks substance. This restaurant needs to thoroughly rethink its approach if it truly wants to stand out in a city like Turin, where competition is high and the average level is decidedly superior.

07/10/2025: We went to the pizzeria after the game. We're not locals and didn't know it was closing time. We asked if we could eat and they sat us down anyway. We weren't expecting such a good pizza. But above all, the owner turned out to be an extraordinary, kind and friendly person. When we return to Turin, we will definitely come back to visit you again!!!

23/10/2025: The warm and welcoming atmosphere immediately puts us at ease. We order the trio of appetizers, plus a shared Russian salad: all the flavors are clear and right; the freshest tomino cheese and the perfect green sauce; the cooking technique for the vitello tonnato modernizes the value of tradition, maintaining its evident quality, which begins with the raw ingredients. This adherence to tradition doesn't prevent pleasant surprises from appearing with unexpected aromas, expertly and meticulously scattered on the serving plates, perhaps the fragrance of a tiny lavender flower... We continue with the Scialatielli with sardines and wild fennel (and everything else you need): sumptuous, with a rich sauce that preserves the intensity of the fish's flavor, the sweet and spicy interplay is perfectly balanced. We finish with the Baked Pumpkin, comforting and tasty. We drank a well-balanced Barbera, chosen from the bulk wine selection. The prices were more than fair, and the service was punctual and attentive. An experience that combines the full pleasure of an evening with the joy of knowing, in a challenging context like Barriera, brilliant businesses like this one exist, where the awareness of know-how can overcome any challenge. Da Baffo is one of those places Turin must preserve with pride: a restaurant where tradition meets refinement, without ever losing its authenticity. The cuisine surprises with its balance and sincerity: carefully crafted dishes, select ingredients, and flavors that elegantly express the region. The 1955 counter and period furnishings create a warm and welcoming atmosphere, while the wine selection is extensive and perfectly complements the menu. Attentive, cheerful, and never intrusive service completes an experience that will remain in your memory. A place to remember and recommend, a place to return whenever you seek the true taste of Turin.

05/10/2025: Very small but cozy place. The plin pasta is delicious, and so is the meat! The zabaglione is recommended, but in my opinion the desserts could be improved. The entire staff is attentive and very kind.

03/10/2025: We went to Plin e Tajarin today and will definitely be back. The staff was super friendly, the atmosphere was informal, quiet, and pleasant. The food was delicious, accompanied by stories of life in the olden days. Recommended!

12/10/2025: A unique experience! 5 adults plus a child, we ate from appetizers to dessert with two bottles of fine red wine! We recommend the cheese course, the stuffed onion, the rabbit, the plin pasta in roast sauce, cheek (if available), and the duck leg! Gentlemen, it's a 5/5, you can't go wrong. The owner and the table service were friendly and approachable! Loving people. A quiet place (reservations required) to which we wish the best.
