25/10/2025: Waitress didnt understand English and we have very limited Italian but we made it work. Food was actually good. Other staff apart from the 1st Waitress were more interested in singing happy birthday to a large party at the back of the restaurant. 1 drink was forgotten. When it came to the bill we were charged wrongly. Only 4 euros but was to embarrassed to mention. Card machine would not accept our card that we had been using the whole holiday and i didnt have enough cash to cover it. Used the same card less than 5 minutes later and it worked. Think the shop has Internet issues rather than it being our cards fault.

25/10/2025: We stumbled upon it by chance, intrigued by the banner on the street, "Contrada dei Guardinfanti," and it was love at first sight. The restaurant's name says it all, and my two friends and I introduced ourselves as "Bourbons." Through laughter and chatter, we met Marianna and her two brothers who run this welcoming restaurant, rediscovering our shared roots. The menu offers a choice of a few dishes (four for each course), but they're surprising: Neapolitan tradition married with Piedmontese (for example, the excellent braised beef in Aglianico) or revisited (linguine with truffle and raw shrimp, cannoli filled with ricotta and mascarpone). There's a wide selection of wines, but I stuck with the superb Aglianico from Le Janare. We returned three nights and were never disappointed. Last but not least.... Don't forget the pizza, which I highly recommend (and the tiramisu too!!!)

12/10/2025: Nice place, excellent food, very attentive, fast, and helpful staff. We had a lovely evening with music and dancing. A great place to celebrate birthdays, too. The owner was very kind. One small tip: the music needs to be re-evaluated a bit, but otherwise, I highly recommend it.

14/07/2025: Another evening, another satisfaction. The usual good Spritz, five euros, which never hurts with friends! And as if that weren't enough, they also brought us a free bowl of chips. What can I say, an evening with friends is always the best 😊 .

10/06/2025: changed management .. passed under the friendly Chinese clutches ... cocktails in free fall. among the customers I noticed women of dubious morality ... it would be no big deal but the prices have increased ... shame ... let's hope it doesn't close 😂😂😂

14/10/2025: I gave the food three stars, so it gets a thumbs up. Better than several restaurants that get 4 or 5 stars, even though they deserve TWO stars for the food served with the 5-star bill. Monegato offers quick, good meals at a great price... Worth a try.

13/10/2025: The restaurant closes at 3 PM, and we were only given four food options. The vegetarian lasagna was tasteless and the ravioli tasted like frozen food. Unfortunately, we didn't have a good experience.

05/11/2025: Our intention last night was to celebrate a birthday, but unfortunately it didn't go as we'd hoped. They served us very cold wine, explaining that the cellar wasn't at the right temperature. The bread and focaccia were undercooked. The paccheri carbonara was extremely salty and inedible. The chips were burnt and full of oil. It's a shame the guy who served us was attentive and kind. As for the rest, it's definitely not to be repeated. There were nine of us, and no one would return or recommend.

08/11/2025: A charming café with wonderful homemade cakes, a unique kindness, in a relaxing, well-kept, tastefully decorated setting, with numerous plants that create a delightful atmosphere. I ordered three slices of cake, because it's truly rare for everything to be so perfect. Thank you for making me so happy.

05/11/2025: I strongly advise against this bar for new mothers. Despite being a spacious place, strollers seem to be a nuisance and create a huge space problem. Mothers with newborns should be welcomed everywhere, but here, on more than one occasion, I've experienced indifference and rudeness. I was even called out for giving my water to a six-month-old baby, despite having ordered a generous amount at the table. The lack of empathy is palpable and shameful.

11/10/2025: Rude staff, too long wait. They didn't bring us the platters after 50 minutes, and on top of that, they told us to go to hell even though they were in the wrong. Not recommended. I'm giving one star because I can't give zero.

08/10/2025: Restaurant on the border, convenient parking, excellent service and above all pizza and cuisine and super service, but as I like to say it is the people who make the difference

25/05/2025: Wir waren zweimal hier zum Abendessen. Schöne Trattoria auf einem ruhigen Platz mitten in Turin. Die Bedienung war sehr freundlich und hat uns einen Tisch aussuchen lassen. Das Essen war sehr gut bis auf die Gnocchi di Patate und das Brot das sehr trocken war. Die Empfehlung für einen guten Wein aus dem Piemont einen Barbera d´Alba war ausgezeichnet. Für das Essen, Nachspeise, Aperol Spritz, Wasser und Wein zahlten wir pro Person im Schnitt 37 €Tolle

29/07/2025: The pizza is good, good service, but a coffee at the table for €3.50 and a grappa for €9.00 seems disproportionate to me. The dessert is expensive for the quality.

12/07/2025: Very good pizza, slightly expensive. The waiters are very professional and friendly. I don't like very much the spoken-only description of the daily specials and of the desserts, as the acoustics of the room isn't good and sometimes it can't be heard very well. Besides pizza, they also have good cuisine dishes, although I generally go for the pizza. Limited choice of draft beers, they also have a certain choice of (bottled) craft beers, but I find the latter to be somewhat too expensive, especially if one can't share them, as they list no single serving bottles. The location is nice, with a good atmosphere, but the place is not a large one, so it's better to book in advance.

05/09/2025: I think it was one of the ugliest pizzas I've ever ordered and eaten. It felt like cardboard. Terrible consistency, dough with no flavor. Never again.

25/08/2025: I found this takeout pizzeria somewhat by chance in the neighborhood I recently moved to. Really good pizza, fair prices, and exceptionally friendly service. P.S. The complimentary farinata was much appreciated!!

19/10/2025: I had the pleasure of having breakfast and then lunch at Siciloso a few days ago. I can only compliment the entire staff, who were courteous, kind, and professional. The restaurant is located in a prime spot in the city, in a quiet area where you can enjoy an excellent breakfast, lunch, and/or dinner. The spacious rooms, with decor reminiscent of the fine cuisine served, fully reflect the quality of the dishes served to diners. Everything was well organized, with no waiting to be served. Excellent fresh produce flown directly from Sicily is paired with a wide selection of wines that enhance the excellent selection and variety of dishes. The generous portions and the helpful staff enhance the unique experience and set it apart from other restaurants in the city. I highly recommend it. You feel at home, precisely because the owners maintain a genuine and friendly relationship with their guests. Thank you for everything. I will definitely be back. On a scale of one to ten, they absolutely deserve a 10.
