Cucina piemontese ma rivisitata e sicuramente con un tocco in più che fa la differenza rispetto a molti altri ristoranti. Ottime materie prime e piatti molto curati. The menu of the day, at a cost of € 30.00 (excluding drinks), offers 1 appetizer 1 first course 1 second course with side dish and 1 dessert, all recommended, but with the possibility of exchanging with others on the menu. The courses, of the Piedmontese tradition, are abundant, carefully presented and cooked to perfection. The choice of cheese instead of the second course, in the menu of the day, includes 6 pieces, freely chosen from the display case, with a combination of various compotes. On the table, bread with walnuts and raisins, wholemeal and excellent breadsticks. Small welcome appetizer. The service is welcoming, with the absolute priority of satisfying the diners.

27/10/2024: Update October 2024: Yesterday we visited Livia's gelateria for the sixth time this year, 3 times during our summer vacation, 3 times during October. We tasted at least 8 types of ice cream – I cannot describe this flavor experience!!! Every type was wonderful and Livia is creating new types of special ice cream all the time. Additionally she taught me how to prepare chestnuts for dessert. I am sorry that I do not have a caravan to buy ice cream for my freezer at home… I hope to return to this gelateria next year! Thank you so much!!! Today we visited Livia's gelateria for the second time this year. We tasted five types of ice cream – every taste was WONDERFUL. Livia is a warm-hearted and patient person who taught me wonderful things about local products (e.g. Ramassin grape). Furthermore, her German language skills are excellent. When I return to Piedmont I will certainly make a stopover at Livia's gelateria. Thank you so much!

12/01/2025: Locale molto bello e suggestivo. Siamo stati accolti da un gentile ragazzo che ci ha accompagnato a sedere. La titolare, credo, una signora che si chiama Tamara (l’ho sentita chiamare dagli amici con cui conversava), ha chiacchierato con dei suoi amici per mezz’ora lasciandoci totalmente senza attenzione. Quando si è finalmente rivolta a noi, l’ha fatto senza indirizzarci neppure un saluto, ha esordito con un freddo e secco “Ditemi”. Come se non ci fosse dovuta neanche la minima gentilezza. Con lo stesso tenore si è rivolta ai tavoli vicini. Dopo aver consumato antipasto e primo (due piatti comunque ben preparati) abbiamo atteso più di mezz’ora che qualcuno visualizzasse i nostri piatti vuoti. Infine ci siamo alzati, senza che qualcuno ci abbia chiesto se desideravamo un dolce o un caffè. Il locale è in un posto assolutamente di rilievo, ma la totale mancanza di rispetto e di attenzione per il cliente ci ha purtroppo portati a sentirci a disagio.

Unfortunately, every time I go to this place and decide to pay by card (not €1, on Saturday €10) the owner makes EMBARRASSING comments about this fact. Comments that make customers uncomfortable. I will never set foot there again. I do not recommend.

01/02/2025: Purtroppo cena non all’altezza delle aspettative che considerando il prezzo sono molto alte. Abbiamo fatto tutti e 4 il menù degustazione da 5 portate, ricordiamo purtroppo il tagliolino con fondo di triglia che è stato servito tiepido e incollato, la trota insipida e dura e poi per finire in bellezza ci viene comunicato prima dell’ultima portata che il dolce “lampone”(presente nel menù degustazione) non era disponibile. Valuteremo di tornare in presenza dello chef (fuori sede questa sera) sperando che tutti questi errori non siano normalità.

27/03/2025: Ci siamo ritrovati a pranzare la domenica dello storico carnevale di Saluzzo e ne siamo stati piacevolmente colpiti. Graziosa la location, piatti curati, cibo delizioso e personale attento a rimpiazzare il pane quando terminato e/o accontentare i piccoli ospiti. Il mio bimbo di nemmeno 2 anni si é mascherato da chef e lo hanno accompagnato in cucina per uno scatto alla "Ratatouille". Unico neo: il bagno in stile industrial è davvero accogliente ma aggiungere un fasciatoio sarebbe per noi mamme davvero di grande supporto (erano presenti in sala 5 bimbi "pannolinati") perchè cambiare un bimbo tra i due lavandini su un ripiano di vetro diventa piuttosto complicato. Torneremo sicuramente.

08/03/2025: Scelto accuratamente nella proposta dei ristoranti a Saluzzo, confermo che questo ristorante è una piacevole scoperta. Ottimi piatti della cucina piemontese offerti con gusto e fantasia. Il vitello tonnato è il fiore all’occhiello ma ogni piatto è delizioso e si avverte l’ottima materia prima. Servizio impeccabile da parte di Alessandro che ha saputo guidarci nella scelta con gentilezza e maestria. Un ristorante in cui tornare con piacere,
