27/10/2024: Update October 2024: Yesterday we visited Livia's gelateria for the sixth time this year, 3 times during our summer vacation, 3 times during October. We tasted at least 8 types of ice cream – I cannot describe this flavor experience!!! Every type was wonderful and Livia is creating new types of special ice cream all the time. Additionally she taught me how to prepare chestnuts for dessert. I am sorry that I do not have a caravan to buy ice cream for my freezer at home… I hope to return to this gelateria next year! Thank you so much!!! Today we visited Livia's gelateria for the second time this year. We tasted five types of ice cream – every taste was WONDERFUL. Livia is a warm-hearted and patient person who taught me wonderful things about local products (e.g. Ramassin grape). Furthermore, her German language skills are excellent. When I return to Piedmont I will certainly make a stopover at Livia's gelateria. Thank you so much!

18/02/2025: I Quat Taulin has everything to please. The look of a real trattoria, the innkeeper, the correct prices, even the people who frequent him are the 'right' ones. You could make a film set in the Sixties or Seventies without changing anything and the whole thing is embellished with a heavenly cheese counter. Except... the food isn't that good!: Too bad because expectations were high!

02/02/2025: Characteristic and well-kept environment, impeccable service with kind and well-trained staff, very good cuttlefish with polenta, well-cooked sea bream of excellent quality, dessert with unbalanced chocolate mousse (too bitter).

28/12/2024: Il locale, che si trova nelle periferia di Saluzzo a due passi dall'antica caserma Mario Musso, non è molto grande ma accogliente e finemente ristrutturato. I piatti proposti richiamano la tradizione del posto ma con un tocco di modernità. Le materie prime utilizzate nella cucina sono fresche e di ottima di qualità. Particolare la carta dei vini, dove sono presenti vini ricercati e di alto livello. Il rapporto qualità/prezzo forse leggermente alto rispetto alla media della zona. Continuate così, se si ripresenterà l'occasione tornerò sicuramente!

Strangely half-empty (besides ours, only one other table was occupied), fast and courteous service. Piedmontese cuisine with the right creative reinterpretation. Prices consistent with the quality of the food and the elegance of the environment. Advised

18/10/2024: I can tell you, without equivocation, that it was one of the best gastronomic experiences of my life! We ate a raw focaccia and burrata to divide in two (very crunchy and very tasty), the tajarin cacio e pepe (indescribable how good and delicate they were but still very tasty) and the meat plin carbonara (delicious and unforgettable), all accompanied by a glass of Barolo. Then a Rocher dessert (also fantastic). We will happily return several times. So, if you ever pass through Saluzzo, this nice and welcoming place is a safe choice without doubts.

12/01/2025: Locale molto bello e suggestivo. Siamo stati accolti da un gentile ragazzo che ci ha accompagnato a sedere. La titolare, credo, una signora che si chiama Tamara (l’ho sentita chiamare dagli amici con cui conversava), ha chiacchierato con dei suoi amici per mezz’ora lasciandoci totalmente senza attenzione. Quando si è finalmente rivolta a noi, l’ha fatto senza indirizzarci neppure un saluto, ha esordito con un freddo e secco “Ditemi”. Come se non ci fosse dovuta neanche la minima gentilezza. Con lo stesso tenore si è rivolta ai tavoli vicini. Dopo aver consumato antipasto e primo (due piatti comunque ben preparati) abbiamo atteso più di mezz’ora che qualcuno visualizzasse i nostri piatti vuoti. Infine ci siamo alzati, senza che qualcuno ci abbia chiesto se desideravamo un dolce o un caffè. Il locale è in un posto assolutamente di rilievo, ma la totale mancanza di rispetto e di attenzione per il cliente ci ha purtroppo portati a sentirci a disagio.

22/12/2024: Hotel truly worthy of 4 stars, in my opinion it is more of a 4 star S. Comfortable, large, clean, welcoming rooms with everything you need, from double pillows to mineral water available. The owners and staff are very kind and welcoming. We arrived after 11pm and there was no problem having an à la carte dinner. It was a business trip, I will definitely return for pleasure.

01/02/2025: Purtroppo cena non all’altezza delle aspettative che considerando il prezzo sono molto alte. Abbiamo fatto tutti e 4 il menù degustazione da 5 portate, ricordiamo purtroppo il tagliolino con fondo di triglia che è stato servito tiepido e incollato, la trota insipida e dura e poi per finire in bellezza ci viene comunicato prima dell’ultima portata che il dolce “lampone”(presente nel menù degustazione) non era disponibile. Valuteremo di tornare in presenza dello chef (fuori sede questa sera) sperando che tutti questi errori non siano normalità.

23/02/2025: We had dinner with 2 children and I can only praise the place. The food was of excellent quality, very good and balanced, with generous portions. The price is more than correct. The impeccable service despite being quite full, thoughtful and professional, definitely worth repeating.

13/02/2025: Incuriosito dalle recensioni ho deciso di provare a pranzo questo ristorante;purtroppo in settimana vige il menu lavoro che é piuttosto scarno riducendosi a soli due primi ed altrettanti secondi. Qualita' e porzioni sufficienti,ma devo dire che in zona si trovano locali con menu con piu' scelta e qualita' per questo livello di prezzi.

02/02/2025: Good morning, we were yesterday for lunch in this beautiful place, very convenient also for parking, welcoming, clean and refined. Excellent local products and good quality-price ratio. Having arrived after 1.30pm due to our delay, we preferred to order the Piedmontese menu for everyone, excellent and plentiful, accompanied by a great barbera suggested by the owner (a young and practical lady). Welcome with a tongue starter offered by the house, followed by the Piedmontese menu, rich and tasty. Next time we will take the other dishes which promised equally well.. Courteous, fast and efficient staff!
