03/12/2024: We had lunch and dinner at the bistro, the staff is professional and very kind. The cuisine is of quality. Good variety of wines and praise to the waiter who recommended a good wine. Too bad for the modern mis en place, now it's a battle for me, we want the tablecloth back!!! I'm tired of eating on the wooden table! When I see the tablecloths again I will give five stars. The exposed cellar is beautiful. Congratulations recommended.

Il castello propone salumi e formaggi della zona (alcuni prodotti in casa da loro), prodotti bio che seguono la stagionalità, primi piatti fatti in casa e anche cacciagione. Il servizio e la sala sono decisamente informali in linea con lo spirito di un vero agriturismo. Il personale è gentilissimo e asseconda il cliente donandogli un'esperienza godibile da tutti i punti di vista. Vale veramente la pena venire su dalla collina che la struttura domina. Da oggi di diritto tra i miei ristoranti preferiti.
07/11/2024: Me ne avevano parlato molto bene ! E posso confermare che avevano ragione ! Gianni poi è proprio un fenomeno ! Ti mette immediatamente a tuo agio ! E non è un comportamento di facciata ! È proprio sincerità pura ! Poi… dal momento che ho saputo che è milanista come me !!! 🙂 ! Per quel che riguarda i piatti beh … vi consiglio di andare e provare di persona ! Non ve ne pentirete !

14/02/2025: Sono stata in questo osteria per un compleanno. Il cibo era davvero buono ma purtroppo c'è stato un problema. Portando tutto con i vassoi e non essendoci un menù non sapevo cosa ci fosse esattamenteall'interno dei piatti. Avendo un'intolleranza all'aglio ho evitato i piatti in cui ero sicura di trovarlo. Ho saputo solo dopo che in uno dei piatti c'era l'aglio e, purtroppo. sono stata male per qualche giorno. Sicuramente non avrei dovuto dare per scontato che l'aglio c'era solo nei piatti in cui era ovvio. Dovrebbe comunque esserci un menù con segnati gli allergeni. Prezzo ottimo per tutto quello che abbiamo mangiato. La mia non vuole essere una critica, avendo sbagliato in primis, ma solo un consiglio.

06/03/2025: We shared a large farinata, peppers as an appetizer and two portions of fried panissa. With the addition of water, we paid a total of €32. It was all really, really good! The staff is very nice!! After a day of walking and a train taken late in the evening to get to Novi Ligure, it was very nice to find this welcome from the local. We will definitely be back!!

11/02/2025: This should be a 3 star review but I don’t like wrecking business ratings based on one experience. Came here for lunch. Main course was ok. Desert was very good. However, I had ordered a main&desert menu lunch combo + a 2nd main dish separately and was charged for each of the combo items individually. Which was 7€ more. I pointed this absurdity out and they insisted on billing for it all the same. That’s just not reasonable.

30/12/2024: I'll tell you about the unpleasant experience my girlfriend had yesterday during lunch at the Antica Stallera. While he was enjoying a plate of gran fusilli, he suddenly felt something hard in his mouth: it was a NAIL WITH AN ANCHOR found in the food. He immediately notified the dining room staff, and the chef came to apologize, showing a courteous and understanding attitude. However, when she expressed her disappointment to the waitress, her attitude was unacceptable: she seemed to imply that she had put the nail on the plate herself, an unfair and deeply offensive accusation. At the end of the meal, we were offered the dish and a dessert, an appreciated gesture, but which did not erase the bitterness for what had happened and for the treatment received. I hope that the restaurant will work to improve the quality of control in the kitchen and better train staff on how to deal with delicate situations, to ensure a respectful and safe experience for customers.
24/12/2024: Estábamos en el mar frío muerto y realmente necesitábamos un buen almuerzo. La suerte estaba de nuestro lado. La Stallera fue una gran experiencia culinaria. Cada uno de nosotros pidió un plato diferente, desde Osso Bucco hasta calamares rellenos, carne Angus (tan cerca de un Chateau Brillant) y fusilli porcini. Todo acompañado de un vino sardo. Gracias a nuestros anfitriones por un servicio cálido y amable. Durante el verano, debe ser precioso sentarse debajo del árbol en el jardín. No falles bajo ninguna circunstancia.
