10/01/2025: We went in to get something hot. Without even giving us time to all sit down, we immediately had to order. After a few moments our order arrives as follows: cold coffees, almost ice cream I would say, hot tea without tea, since we were only served a cup of hot water. Upon our request to have a tea bag, we were brought a saucer with the tea bag, but without the protective wrapping. Toilets without the possibility of drying your hands. It seems to me that there is nothing else to add.

01/01/2025: In the heart of the square of Santa Maria Maggiore it has a privileged position. The service is good, quite fast despite the mess of people. But you can't see the wine served in a plastic glass (but I didn't penalize this serious mistake too much because the staff deserves more than 5 stars) it costs €€ in the norm, like an aperitif in Milan or a little less.

06/01/2025: Excellent food, very kind staff and they accept pets!! The place could use some dust removal in some corners, but the "table" is impeccable and we will certainly be back! The desserts are exceptional!

03/01/2025: Historic place, I have been going there since I was a child so many decades ago, it is a little affected by the past but still remains welcoming even if I would put the fireplace back into operation. Honest cuisine, nothing exceptional but dishes cooked well and with decent raw materials. Good and digestible pizza. Excellent value for money. After rediscovering it I go back every now and then, excellent for an informal dinner or a Sunday lunch, I recommend it, much better and honest than many places that set a tone without being able to afford it. Positive note they accept dogs.

18/08/2024: I think this is the first negative review I've written, I don't usually rage by shooting at the red cross....... We had lunch with friends on August 15th and it was unfortunately a terrible experience for everyone. Lack of attention to dietary needs already reported by telephone at the time of booking. The dishes, which on paper looked very good, in reality were of poor quality and the unrecognizable ingredients were so badly dosed and badly cooked. Almost indistinguishable jumbles. The first seemed to have been seasoned with a ready-made Mutti sauce from the supermarket, its "chemical" aftertaste left us with many doubts regarding its creation and we all digested it until the next day. The second was also an unsuccessful experiment: roast beef with an unrecognizable filling drowned in a sweet and sour-like pepper sauce that covered every type of taste. All accompanied by a diced of literally charred baked potatoes, inedible and left over by everyone, including the tables next to them. How do you get a dish like that out of the kitchen? Of 10 potatoes presented 9 were literally black, completely charred. Lastly, what was supposed to be a peach and amaretti affogato was instead a teaspoon of ice cream presented in a bowl smaller than a coffee cup, with a teaspoon of orange sauce that perhaps should have been reminiscent of peaches. The two young waitresses seemed improvised and rather awkward even when remembering absolutely banal requests (sparkling or natural water, bread). Very slow service but no one was in a hurry as they were relaxing in mid-August. To add insult to injury: when they went to pay we were told only then that they didn't have the POS. Panic as none of us had cash except a friend who had to pay for everyone, to our embarrassment. Menu from €29 each which became €40 with 1 bottle of mediocre white wine. Continuous complaints and comments from the tables of diners next to us confirmed that they did not have the baluettes. Terrifying.

13/10/2024: I don't comment!!! "Pizza" a sheet of soft paper. Half is just crust and burnt on top of that. When ordering we asked how long and the answer was either straight away or you have to wait for the next batch but I don't know how long... but are you serious?

08/12/2024: Normal food, little offer on the menu. With 14 euros you have everything included the price is high but it is one of the few decent restaurants in the area

Complimenti al Proprietario Isaia gentilissimo, gentilezza d altri tempi .. racconta tutti i piatti nei minimi dettagli e consiglia abbinamenti di vini Cucina ricercata nei minimi dettagli e squisita . Un posto davvero dal quale quando si esce il commento può solo essere WOW!! Posto accogliente tranquillo e immerso nelle fantastiche colline delle Langhe . Non perdetevi questo posto davvero estasiante Un piacere x il palato e x l anima .. ci torneremo sicuramente.

30/11/2024: Raffinata cucina del territorio con rivisitazioni di livello, si tocca con mano la cura nella ricerca sia delle materie prime sia della qualità a 360 gradi, dal servizio alle proposte di accompagnamento enologiche. Consiglio di arrivare con lo spazio corretto per il dolce, nel mio caso una meringa di nocciole con tartufo che completava con il punto esclamativo una cena quasi a livello Michelin

18/01/2025: I took the Bicerìn, certainly: €6 well spent. I honestly missed the liqueur because it is a drink that is also an experience (and I only drink it in winter so as not to immediately gain a kilo). The place has classic decor but a contemporary ambience and I liked it.

15/01/2025: Good bar with the possibility of eating a fair selection of dishes for lunch, also well-stocked for the evening aperitif.

06/01/2025: It was our first time in this steakhouse, perfect service, very friendly and helpful waiter, right timing, the place despite being small is very nice. The food is really very good, nothing can be said about that, a little less so for the prices. 45 euros for a plate of 300g of meat, without even a side dish included. The potato side dish we requested cost us €7 each so €14 in total. Honestly, as a customer but also as someone who has always had close contact with the world of catering (restaurants and family bakeries) it is an extremely excessive price for a side dish, to receive a portion of meager baked potatoes. Taking into account that with 2.50 you can buy from 2 to 3 kg of potatoes in any supermarket, with all the additional bills imaginable (staff, electricity, gas, seasoning, service, etc.), a side dish of this kind must not exceed €4 , but above all, for the price of the meat dish, it could also have been included and made a better impression. The welcome appetizers were appreciated, very good. The pulled pork tacos were also delicious. It's a shame about the absence of other types of canned drinks, it would certainly please the customer. Last but not least, dessert. Good, very good, I would say the right portion for what I eat, but not enough to be worth €8 despite how fresh and freshly made it may be, for not even 100g of creme brulee and two crumbs on top. Perhaps these two negative points that I mentioned above should be taken into consideration, I state that my intention is not to denigrate the image of the place, on the contrary, but you have to know how to adapt well to have the right quality-price ratio. All in all it was a very pleasant evening and we returned home certainly full and satisfied with the food we ate and how we were treated. A little less than the bill but we can work on it.

19/10/2024: Maleducazione e antipatia sono sovrani in questo locale. All'arrivo nemmeno un saluto, ci hanno indicato il nostro tavolo e per ben 1 ora nessuno ci ha considerati nonostante il locale non fosse colmo di clienti. Al nostro sollecito, la cameriera ci ha risposto facendoci il gesto che non aveva tempo (ma ce l'aveva per chiacchierare) e finalmente dopo altri 10 minuti ci ha degnati della sua attenzione. Mentre prendeva le comande faceva smorfie e sversava gli occhi al contrario se l'ordinazione non era fatta come voleva lei. Finalmente dopo più di 1 ora abbondante, porta il bere e dopo altro tempo interminabile, finalmente le pizze. Pizze buone, ma ciò non toglie che sia un posto assolutamente da evitare. Invece di ringraziare che hanno clienti, li fanno scappare a gambe levate. NON ANDATECI, ASCOLTATEMI!

14/12/2024: Sono andato in questa pizzeria diverse volte e mi sono sempre trovato bene, l'ultima volta hò preso un risotto all'astice, è arrivato il risotto con l'astice tagliato a metà,ma l'astice era completamente vuoto, completamente pulito persino nelle chele, era evidente che era stato riciclato,hò comunque mangiato il risotto xché nonostante tutto era buono,hò comunque fatto vedere al cameriere che l'astice era completamente vuoto, ma non hanno saputo darmi nessuna giustificazione non hò fatto nessuna discussione ,xché ero certo che alla cassa una volta detto il problema si fossero scusati e avrebbero almeno scontato il piatto ,invece anche alla cassa nessuna giustificazione e il piatto messo a prezzo intero,hò pagato il tutto e sono uscito. Lascio a voi ogni commento....e se andate e prendete il risotto all'astice verificate che ci sia un pò di polpa

08/11/2024: lunedì 4 novembre abbiamo pranzato ottimamente in due in questo ristorante. Eravamo partiti con l’intenzione di mangiare la loro grigliata mista di pesce, poiché mia moglie è rimasta incantata da certe fotografie che aveva visto, però poi quando ci siamo seduti abbiamo trovato sul tavolo il loro intrigante menu del giorno, quindi abbiamo cambiato idea, e posso dire che abbiamo fatto molto bene perché abbiamo avuto una piacevolissima sorpresa. Il loro menu del giorno comprende 3-4 alternative per ogni portata, così noi abbiamo scelto un piatto di farfalle con polpa di granchio e gamberetti, uno di pennette ai funghi porcini, poi un trancio di tonno e una cotoletta di pollo, e con entrambi i secondi abbiamo scelto come contorno le patatine fritte. Tutto è stato ottimo e molto abbondante (la cotoletta era gigantesca e squisita), inoltre il personale è simpatico, cortese, rapido ed efficiente, pertanto si può dire che in questo ristorante si mangia molto bene e anche presto. Pure il loro vinello bianco era decisamente gradevole. Non mi sono quindi stupito che il locale fosse pieno, considerato che qui il rapporto prezzo qualità è assolutamente imbattibile
