02/11/2025: I go there occasionally to order takeout. The people are friendly and patient. One small flaw is the taste (too much oil or not enough soy) of certain dishes. I hope they improve because it would be a great alternative for eating Chinese food in the comfort of your own home. I'll be back again.

28/08/2025: This place is a true gem nestled in the Alta Langa hills, surrounded by hazelnut groves and vineyards, perfect for those seeking relaxation and contact with nature. The accommodation is simple yet welcoming, with a refreshing pool and a well-kept garden inviting you to relax. But what really makes this agriturismo special are the owners, Alberto and his family. They are incredibly kind, hospitable, and friendly from the moment we arrived: they welcomed us, making us feel right at home. Alberto is an extraordinary host, always ready to share fascinating stories about the Langhe and offer valuable advice on the surrounding area. Their friendliness and attentiveness made our stay very pleasant. The cuisine is another highlight: homemade dishes made with fresh ingredients from the garden or local producers, such as typical Piedmontese appetizers. Everything is delicious and authentic, served with passion! I highly recommend it.

28/06/2025: Enttäuschendes Erlebnis im Ca’del Re – nie wieder! Unser Besuch im Ca’del Re war leider ein Reinfall auf ganzer Linie. Trotz vorheriger Reservierung wurde uns der gewünschte Tisch einfach nicht zugewiesen – keinerlei Entschuldigung, keine Lösung, einfach Ignoranz. Besonders ärgerlich war die vollkommen unflexible Haltung des Servicepersonals: Wir waren zu viert und wollten gerne zwei Menüs teilen, was in vielen guten Restaurants absolut üblich ist. Nicht so hier. Uns wurde unmissverständlich mitgeteilt, dass jeder ein komplettes Menü bestellen müsse – kein Entgegenkommen, kein Verständnis, nur starre Regeln, die offenbar vor allem dazu dienen, möglichst viel Geld aus den Gästen zu pressen. Das Ganze wirkte wie reine Touristenabzocke. Wer nicht bereit ist, sich auf Gäste einzulassen und stattdessen nur Umsatz maximieren will, hat unser Geld und unsere Zeit nicht verdient. Fazit: Das Ca’del Re lebt vielleicht von seiner Lage, aber sicher nicht von Gastfreundschaft oder Servicekultur. Wir kommen ganz sicher nicht wieder – und raten jedem, der Wert auf ein angenehmes kulinarisches Erlebnis legt, dringend ab.

03/06/2025: Sono stata con la famiglia in questo posto splendido per festeggiare il mio compleanno: scelto totalmente a scatola chiusa, è stata una vera rivelazione! Abbiamo pranzato in giardino, sotto un grande ciliegio, il personale è stato da subito cordiale e pronto per ogni esigenza ( abbiamo una bimba piccola). Menù sia tradizionale che più sperimentale: provati entrambi, impeccabili su tutta la linea! Prezzo nella media della zona ed equo per la qualità del cibo e del servizio.

27/10/2025: It was a Sunday, so it was packed. I must say, well done! Excellent, well-prepared, and extremely courteous service. Simple, traditional dishes, delicious, and flavorful. I'll say more about the polentaconcia, which I must say was good. There's an excellent selection of cheeses (I'm sure everyone will love it), but unfortunately, it's too modern for my childhood memories, when the polenta concia was so full of cheeses it changed the color of the corn, and the butter was toasted and aromatic. Sorry for the digression! Excellent wine selection! I'll definitely be back to try other dishes. Thank you, a wonderful experience.

19/06/2025: Avevo prenotato una cena x l'anniversario chiedendo al proprietario se pagando il servizio avrei potuto portare un vino io. Il proprietario mi ha risposto veramente in malo modo. Molto maleducatamente ha riattaccato il telefono.io ho solo chiesto ma la sua maleducazione è stata veramente inaccettabile.certamente non disturberò più

26/10/2025: The full breakfast was really good. It's a shame the short, glasses-wearing girl who served us was rude. She had a terrible temper and no desire to serve customers.

04/10/2025: I bought a fruit tart for my son's birthday, and when we tried to eat it, we found mold inside the raspberries and a hair in the jelly. We called to report the incident, and the response was, "We've already made it, what can we tell you?" Naturally, we were left speechless, and even without a cake for the celebration. We've been customers forever, but this kind of treatment makes it truly impossible to return.

19/10/2025: THE BARTENDER'S BEHAVIOR IS SHAMEFUL. I came in for a hot chocolate with my family and went to the counter for a small plate of pastries. The waitress asked the bartender if the chocolate was dark, as my partner had requested. The bartender replied, "Our chocolate is dark. Tell him not to bother." Shocked by the response I gave to the waitress, who was otherwise kind, I canceled the order and left, telling the bartender that people who bother go away. I'm sorry I couldn't write the exact words the bartender said. Google is blocking my review.

16/09/2025: Had lunch on Sunday. The food was average, nothing special. Kudos to the wait staff at the outside tables, especially the young woman, who handled the interference of some particularly "demanding" (in my opinion rude) customers with professionalism and discretion.

08/07/2025: Abbiamo pranzato in due con un antipasto piemontese (cipolla ripiena, peperone con bagna cauda, trota salmonata, e altre specialità) dei ravioli del plin ed una polenta concia. A seguire un dolce tipico e due caffè Acqua naturale Costo totale 51,2 euro Molto positiva la disponibilità del personale a sostituire una delle componenti l’antipasto ad entrambi sgradita. Porzioni generose e di qualità Unica nota stonata (che mi fatto dare solo 4 pallini) l’assenza di un menù scritto ; ritengo che sia corretto, al di là dei prezzi onesti, che il commensale sappia quanto sta spendendo prima di ordinare

07/06/2025: Sono stato a cena con la mia compagna e altri amici, prima volta in questo locale, abbiamo preso delle chiacchiere per iniziare, molto buone, a seguire pizza, ho scelto l'impasto classico per provare... Sono rimasto davvero molto soddisfatto (dopo anni finalmente sono riuscito a mangiare una pizza come si deve). Sicuramente ci ritornerò.

18/05/2025: Siamo stati ieri sera, sabato 17 maggio 2025, in questo bellissimo locale, per cena, io e la mia compagna Luisa. Volevo portarla a mangiare fuori, ma cercavo un posto che potesse essere anche all'altezza del suo charme ed il posto non mi ha che confermato ciò che le impressioni veloci avute su internet mi avevano trasmesso. Già all'ingresso si capisce di stare entrando in una esperienza sensoriale, perché ti riceve un signore molto elegante, con una barba importante, che lascia presagire lo stile del luogo, una particolare parete che racconta lo stile tra Urban metropolitano e abstract art ti indirizzano giù attraverso una scala in metallo nero verso una vecchia cantina d'epoca magistralmente illuminata con pareti colorate da bellissimi quadri variopinti di grande effetto in tipo stile metropolitano newyorkese, due stili contrastanti, di epoche diversissime ma che sono una gran bella accoppiata. I camerieri ci fornisco subito il nostro tavolo su prenotazione lasciandoci la giusta tranquillità di decidere senza fretta cosa mangiare. Una leggera ma gradevole musica moderna ci fa da tappeto sonoro di sottofondo senza disturbare la nostra allegra conversazione. Bene i tavoli e le sedie moderni ma soprattutto ben distanziati. Optiamo per la pizza, noi abbiamo preso una vegetariana e una salsiccia e porcini con un super impasto multi cereali davvero gustoso e leggero, accompagnando il tutto da due ottime birre rosse. Per essere nella piazza principale di Chieri, il salotto della cittadina, il Cube non delude in niente anzi è stata una bella scoperta, prezzi in linea con la qualità del prodotto e del locale. Bravi e molto professionali, la giovanissima cameriera, molto gentile, mai invasiva, disponibile, attenta. In definitiva il locale è di grande spessore, moderno, si può gustare anche in modalità ristorante, lo proveremo. Pulito, ordinato, con bella gente, mai rumoroso, di livello, ben gestito, ha anche un affaccio sulla bellissima piazza Cavour dove si può cenare anche all'aperto, ma protetti da grandi teli che proteggono da sole e pioggia. Voto 10. Torneremo presto a provare la cucina del Ristorante quando farà caldo e cenare all'aperto sarà un'altra e nuova esperienza dei sensi. Bravissimi.

03/05/2025: It is not a simple location, but an enchanting paradise with a suggestive view of Lake Orta. It was the location of our wedding reception, which, due to its beauty, was able to amaze us and the guests. Marzia, the owner, is very kind and helpful. We highly recommend

14/07/2025: Since my childhood, farinata and unparalleled pan-fried pasta have been my favorites 🥇I usually order takeout. On Sunday, however, we opted for dinner at the pizzeria. There were 6 of us, and we booked the day before. There was a long wait for the farinata at 7:30 pm, even though there weren't many tables occupied, while takeout was fast. The staff were questionable, impatient, cold, and unsympathetic, especially with the two elderly people. The place was impeccably clean, but it was difficult to chat if you were in a group (soundproofing 👎). Takeout is better. See you soon!
