16/03/2025: Driven by the nice reviews and photos with a beautiful view, I suggested this place for an aperitif. We set off specifically to try it. Too bad that in March it only follows morning hours and the timetables were not updated at least here. We only find out once we get there.

04/05/2025: Preciso subito che non ho nessun problema con i ristoratori che non ammettono cani. Se sono vicino a casa lascio il cane a casa, se non posso non chiedo neppure. In questi caso il ristorante pubblicizza “cani ammessi e tavoli all’aperto”. Io quindi avrei voluto fare una bella recensione del ristorante! Invece avendo prenotato per il 25 maggio per tre persone e un cane mi sono sentita chiedere ben 4 volte in due telefonate se il cane era ben educato e non di disturbo. Dopo aver ben 4 volte risposto che il cane è abituato a venire con noi e che comunque avremmo di certo risolto anche imprevisti con un tavolo vicino al muro o d’angolo mi veniva risposto subito che andava bene. Dopo 5 minuti mi telefonava il titolare per dirmi che ci sarebbe stato un “matrimonio con musica” 😂😂😂 a quel punto declinavo io cortesemente per evitare di essere noi disturbati dal casino (sempre che fosse vero e non una scusa per non dire che il cane non era comunque ben accetto). Ovviamente anche i “tavoli all’aperto” pubblicizzati come i “cani ammessi” non esistono. Alla domanda la risposta è stata “non riusciamo a servire dentro e fuori”. Pazienza. Andremo altrove.

30/06/2025: The internal courtyard where you dine is spacious and welcoming with a view of the town from above. The service was satisfactory, the food a little less, as soon as we sat down we found some old bread at the table, added a little too little choice among the dishes available and served without bringing condiments. For the price I expected a little better even if we were immediately given a discount that must be taken into account. For this reason in the end I put 4 stars

15/05/2025: The food was not bad, as are the beers. Staff a little "under pressure" even though the place wasn't overly crowded. They had presentation of Liberation Day. So they asked us to be quite, its a bit rude to asked us to be quite as we were enjoying dinner with family where conversation is expected to happen. So we had to move table ourselves.

23/03/2025: Siamo tornati dopo un po' di tempo e siamo rimasti soddisfatti come sempre. Antipasti misti piemontesi e antipasti al tartufo, taglierini al tartufo, assaggio di gnocchi e ravioli. Secondo a scelta tra roastbeaf e uovo sempre al tartufo, agnello carciofi e funghi impanati. Volendo si può fare un misto di tutto. Dolce, vino, acqua e amaro. Quantità abbondanti. 40 euro a persona, più che onesti.

29/05/2025: We did not expect to find ourselves in such an intimate restaurant that almost looked like a Home restaurant. Everything was taken care of in the smallest details. The food was truly excellent and with a beautiful presentation of the dishes. Personally I ate gnocchi alla toma that I will remember for a long time. Even the desserts were original and served with great taste. The hostess was extremely kind. It was a beautiful experience. Highly recommended.

02/05/2025: Ci siamo recati in questa graziosa trattoria in occasione della Comunione di nostro figlio. Tutti gli invitati e naturalmente anche noi siamo rimasti soddisfatti delle ottime pietanze. Piatti caserecci, semplici e al contempo buoni e ben preparati. Da considerare inoltre la gentilezza e disponibilità dei proprietari. Grazie.

11/05/2025: Came here to have some tasting. My husband is preparing for WSET 4, and we decided to visit this region to have a better impression about the area and the wine they produce. So keep in mind that we have been visiting a lot of wineries so we are able to compare experiences. It took FOREVER for the girl to bring the wine. She was extremely disorganized... forgot the spitter. Then was running around trying to find information about land and soil. Did not find this info. In general- no useful information for somebody who is interested in understanding wine profile and the region. Basically, the girl read the label while trying to managed her runny nose, and wearing LOTS of perfume (particularly "professional " for someone who suppose to lead wine tasting). We did not like the wine making style either. If Barolo is said to be a mixture of tar and roses, of the nose, this was mostly tar... If you want pretty picture of the hills and beautiful setting, but you don't care about wine - this place is for you! The only wine worth trying was from Cannubi area (75 euro). Such a wast of time!:(

26/06/2025: Specializes in seafood. Shrimp gnocchi was insanely good. Tiramisu was rich but fresh. Highly recommended.

18/07/2025: A real disappointment….😞 My partner and I ate there on "Thursday Night" night. We made reservations and the place was reserved. The real disappointment was the food: Appetizer with a hard-boiled egg, a piece of tomino cheese, two slices of salami, and a pickled egg for €15… The burger was very good and arrived promptly… My shoulder arrived half an hour later. It wasn't shoulder, but coppa, and even though I'd been notified, I said I didn't want it because it was too fatty… They brought it to me anyway, and since I hadn't even eaten it all because I didn't like the meat, they still made me pay for it… What a shame!
