01/02/2025: You can get there on foot or with snowshoes. The place inside is very beautiful and also has a large outdoor area. We tasted some of their truly delicious dishes. Very friendly staff and a Walser Spritz different from the others. Congratulations to whoever manages it.

31/01/2025: A little place to be amazed by? Yes Riale Val Formazza, a small nativity scene and in winter with the snow it becomes a true poem. Walser Schtuba, you can't help but stop by, a place where you can eat outside, in summer and in winter when it's sunny, inside there are just a few but well-placed tables, refined but full of flavour. We eat refined things but always with references to tradition. Many dishes are inspired by Walser cuisine, a people of Germanic origin who descended into our valleys around 1300. Matteo Sormani, the chef, expertly knows how to blend tradition with innovation in an excellent way. Starters, first courses, second courses and desserts, you will be spoiled for choice. It is definitely worth stopping for a refreshment break after a nice walk.

09/12/2024: Siamo stati per una pizza veloce una sera dopo le 22. Ci hanno accolto con gentilezza e solerzia. La pizza è molto buona e a prezzo. Appena si può ritornare lo faremo con piacere.

16/02/2025: Quite a hidden place in terms of location. Nice interior, a little cold but slowly warmed up. There were 4 of us with reservations and they gave us a 'pretty narrow' table with 4 pizza dishes. At our request, they did not change our seats. Excellent pizza, light dough, with the possibility of Neapolitan, Roman or multigrain pizza. The desserts were inspiring even if we didn't take them.

14/02/2025: A really nice place, super friendly staff and great food! For Valentine's Day they also saw fit to spoil us by offering a dessert to all customers, which was truly appreciated as well as delicious!

07/11/2024: Esageratissimo nel prezzo... Gli antipasti 25 euro a testa... Peperoni e salsa di acciughe, un pezzettino di frittata con zucchine, robiola con cipolla caramellata, salsiccia di Bra.. E vi ho detto tutto...assaggini di primi e 4 dolci.. 2 grappe e due caffè... Grissini dal sapore non fragrante 280 euro... Arrivederci e grazie e visto che il proprietario che tanto gentile e tanto onesto pare ha risposto su Google che chi non può permetterselo non ci deve andare... Le dico che è anche presuntuoso e poco educato

27/01/2025: We stopped for a coffee after lunch as we were passing through. The place was full of people who were there for Sunday lunch (I glimpsed the desserts and they were really inspiring, I really think they were homemade). Lively atmosphere!!

17/12/2024: Had lunch in this restaurant on two occasions. On the first there was a delicious fixed menu, while the disappointment came in eating à la carte. Fish starter unfortunately not good, the waitress offered to have them redone but since there was something wrong with both dishes we moved on to the second course, without infamy and without glory. The homemade desserts are worth mentioning. Excellent.

01/11/2024: Tasty food, prepared with the highest quality raw materials. Right portion and reasonable price. Excellent wine cellar. Nice and clean environment. Restaurant is in a wonderful location, overlooking the lake. It has become a favorite place for us.

01/01/2025: If you are in Cuneo, this is definitely the best restaurant in the city. Located inside the Lovera Palace hotel, at the Grill you can savor traditional Piedmontese and Ligurian dishes. Excellent service. Very pleasant environment. The owners are very welcoming!

01/01/2025: The Lovera hotel restaurant has always been the gastronomic point of reference in Cuneo. You can taste Piedmontese specialties prepared according to tradition but also tasty Ligurian dishes, especially fish selected by the owner Giorgio. On this visit we enjoyed the typical Piedmontese appetizer with sublime steak and veal with tuna sauce. The trofie with pesto are also excellent. Fantastic value for money

17/11/2024: Luogo consigliato dal nostro B&B a gran ragione: la trattoria d'Oria è stato il miglior luogo in cui abbiamo mangiato durante tutto il nostro soggiorno piemontese. Luogo molto carino, con una buona musica, con ottimo personale molto tranquillo e cortese. Piatti fantastici, prezzi giusti. Andateci.

11/11/2024: I fattoni sono dei quadrati di pasta fatta a mano con farina di grano e farina di semi di canapa. Rustici al punto giusto per sposarsi con una crema di formaggio che li rende gustosissimi. Da apprezzare anche la genuina cortesia del personale.

16/01/2025: La trattoria di Simona si trova nella piccola frazione di San Lorenzo nel vallone di Piantonetto, uno dei più belli e appartati del Parco Nazionale del Gran Paradiso. La proposta è la classica cucina piemontese, con un tocco di Emilia da dove proviene la proprietaria. Consigliatissimo! Si può concordare per telefono se mangiare la pasta o la polenta, altrimenti vengono serviti moltissimi antipasti con i quali ci si sazia sicuramente. Vino della casa nel classico pintone da 1,5 litri! La vera antica piola di paese, purtroppo se ne trovano sempre meno...tutto ovviamente è fatto in casa con materie prime di qualità, prezzo assolutamente onestissimo!

09/02/2025: We went often with the old management and had great memories. With the new one, however, everything is a little worse. On Sundays you have the possibility to choose three types of menu at different costs, but ordering is confusing for the staff. Good food but nothing special. Very salty ravioli with roast sauce. Good and tender donkey stew. Possibility to choose many desserts from the cart: the cost of these is not specified anywhere and the quality is poor (tiramisu like the industrial one). Overall we wouldn't stay here again.

25/01/2025: Traveling in Italy for the Christmas holidays from Canada , we were visiting the " Roero" and decided to have our Christmas lunch at this restaurant. They accomodate us with a last minute reservation, table for 2. The restaurant was fully booked and only thing I can say is that everything was amazing , service , atmosphere and food ! Every single dish was just superb , amazing was one of our best experiences..full of taste and creativity , in our 3 weeks trip in Italy we visited restaurants every single lunch and dinner but Marcelin will be always on our heart ❤️ Great Job Angelo, Manuela , Thomas and all the Marcelin staff ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

10/09/2024: Upscale and very nice service. We ordered the 3 course menu. Unfortunately no taste explosion. MRisotto was not fully cooked. Sea Salad tastes like sea water. My liver was sour and so was the "bird" that was recommended to me. TOP for my GLASS of wine for € 23.-- But we knew that. The sparkling wine to start the menu is also highly recommended. Inexpensive. Only €10 per glass. A big compliment to the nice service. GRACE
