We ate wonderfully; my husband had raw fish and a mixed fry that were nothing short of exceptional, as well as the guacamole, which delighted my taste buds like never before... but let's also talk about the homemade bread and the good wine, even by the glass, served by extremely polite and friendly staff. I love the attention they pay to vegetarians, too; believe me, you'll leave delighted with whatever dish you choose. I rarely leave such enthusiastic reviews, but you have to try it! 31/07/2025: Dinner with friends for pizza: the pizza menu is good, extensive and original, and the meat selection is also good, with reasonable prices. The pizza dough was thin and crispy, though for me, who prefers Neapolitan pizza, it wasn't the best, but the toppings were truly remarkable, both in quality and quantity. It's just a matter of taste when it comes to the dough, but overall, I'd say it's an excellent choice.

09/11/2025: My experience at this restaurant was, unfortunately, not at all positive. We were a table of 13, primarily the location: in the cellar, among the barrels, a humid environment, obviously, but not ideal for lunch in November. It was dark (the overhead lamps didn't provide enough light, and there was no other lighting on the table), and sound leakage made it difficult to understand each other's conversations. The packaged breadsticks were good, but I expect them in a tavern, not a restaurant in the Langhe; the bread wasn't fresh today. The house red wine, a tart Nebbiolo, only slightly improved in flavor by letting it air out in the glass. For the first course, a vegetarian at the table was served tagliolini al dente, blanched and served with a drizzle of oil (I expect this dish to be on a children's menu; a simple butter and sage would have been fine). The meat was very salty. The service was slow and inattentive; we had to repeatedly ask for refills of bread and water (at one point, I got up to get the waitress's attention, bringing an empty bottle). The waitress literally started clearing the tables while we were still eating dessert. Finally, the Moscato glasses smelled bad; they were probably left in a cupboard and not cleaned before being brought to the table. All this for the modest sum of €55 per person, which I'm willing to pay if it's worth it, but not only because it's the truffle fair season in the Langhe. I don't think I'll ever return to this restaurant, nor will I recommend it.

29/10/2025: A charming little hotel on the main street of Varello. The rooms are small but very cozy. Dario, the owner, is a nice and smiling man, remembers exactly how everyone likes their coffee. The bed is very comfortable, the rooms are clean and the shower is small but new. There is no kettle in the rooms but There is a small tea corner in the hallway. The central location is perfect! We spent 5 nights here as part of a retreat held at the hotel so we also enjoyed our stay there. European breakfast, delicious dinners but no offerings for kosher or vegans. The rooms are not air conditioned so this may be a problem in the summer, we were there in the fall and enjoyed the central heating and the view of the waterfall from the room. Definitely a recommended hotel that will be fun to return to.

04/10/2025: Good food, good service, excellent prices. In my opinion, the place needs some soundproofing; when it's full (or nearly full), it's sometimes difficult to talk to the people sitting across from you.

28/09/2025: We stayed at this villa for one night. The hotel recently reopened, as the gentleman who welcomed us told us, and it's in a beautiful location, and our room had a view of the valley with its stunning autumn colors. Aside from the extreme kindness, helpfulness, and friendliness of all the staff, the hotel is spotless, meticulously maintained, and absolutely beautiful! The breakfast was excellent, featuring local products (tomme) and plenty of variety. The value for money was excellent. They even accepted our dog, which was essential for us. I highly recommend it to everyone, especially for a weekend in these stunning places.

21/09/2025: I saw some reviews saying this place is quite pricey, and I agree—it is, compared to other places in Turin. I ordered three different kinds of pasta and asked the lady if I could have 100g of each. The pricing for the pasta is shown on the display. Here’s the breakdown of what I had on that day(menu and price seems to differ everyday): Bottoni alla carbonara (100g) – €3.80 Fagottini al nero di seppia con gamberi e zucchine (100g) – €4.40 Funghighetti (100g) – €3.90 1 bottle of Coke – (no price listed, I’m guessing around €2) Aubergine and paprika salad – (no price listed, I’m guessing €5) There’s a 10% service charge, and I paid a total of €20.30. From the picture you can get an idea of the portion sizes. I estimated that 5 pieces of ravioli equal about 100g (which is less than you might expect - we never weight raviolis do we....😂). The pasta was very flavorful and tasty! But you might find it a little expensive given the portion size. I would also appreciate a bill with listed price on each item!

14/09/2025: The best pizza I've ever tasted. I found this address through a friend who lives in the village. A wonderful place where the welcome and quality of the food are impeccable. The managers are very friendly, and the service is very fast! They serve regional dishes, including fried fish... a real treat! All the dishes are hearty and very affordable! Highly recommended! Don't forget to stroll through the small streets of this charming village.

18/07/2025: This historic trattoria in Borgosesia is a reliable source of cooked food, and it's also important to consider the truly excellent quality/price ratio. When we go out for dinner, Croce Bianca is the go-to place for my family and friends.

07/10/2025: I've eaten at Waikiki countless times, both for lunch and dinner, as a couple or with friends, and I've always had a great time. I've tried various dishes, and the quality is always high. There's plenty of outdoor seating. Inside, there's a covered terrace with a lovely upstairs dining area. The menu is well-designed: there are various options, but not too many, which ensures that every dish arrives fresh and carefully prepared. Good pizza, tasty meat dishes, and truly delicious desserts. The atmosphere is welcoming, the service is always friendly, and the location, right in Melezet, is perfect after a day in the snow or a hike at high altitude. During busy periods, especially in summer, there may be delays, but with a view like this, it's even nice to wait a little longer. I usually make a reservation. A place I always love to return to: recommended.
