18/02/2025: Absolutely fantastic! It's worth all the thousand bends (strictly without guard rails) on the road to get there. A hymn to polenta and cured meats. It's a shame that the cold and the clouds prevented us from eating outside and admiring the view. After eating (and after having plundered the corner that sells the legendary 'Nero del re'), a visit to the rural charterhouse which gives its name to the restaurant.

03/02/2025: We went to this inn on a Sunday for lunch and were immediately greeted with great friendliness. The dining room is very well kept, welcoming and clean. The guys are fantastic, always helpful and kind.. The courses from appetizer to dessert were all really good... their cured meats and meat were excellent. We will definitely be back!!

21/02/2025: fantastic evening!!!! excellent food, 110/100 praise for the artichoke appetizer with cheese fondue and slices of black truffle, excellent panissa and whitefish, with a "private" waiter who entertained us, very kind and friendly, we had dinner in the bubble, all to ourselves, I was a little cold.....but the blankets are included in the bubble, I promptly put one on my legs and I had a great time, I can only be satisfied, for a dinner "special" was an excellent intuition, to be repeated perhaps at lunch to enjoy the panoramic view of the lake and perhaps a stroll on the giant bench not far from the restaurant, a digestive stroll is always a pleasure THANKS for the welcome, and the food

01/02/2025: Les menus du restaurant sont variés et excellents. Les desserts sont exquis. Claudio est très courtois et très serviable. C’est la deuxième fois que l’on vient. Il y a possibilité de réserver une chambre. L’ambiance est très chaleureuse et les vins sont très bons. Nous reviendrons régulièrement.

15/02/2025: Nice place, nice atmosphere, tables a little close together. Very kind staff. Average prices. Good menu; I appreciated the presence of a vegetarian tasting menu which I didn't order because it didn't seem balanced to me (rather fatty given the amount of cheese). It might be a good idea to include burgers or vegetable meatballs on the menu. The only negative note: I ordered a mixed vegetarian starter but instead of one of the expected components I was served Russian salad (not expected) in which I fear there was tuna (I hope not!)

01/02/2025: Purtroppo cena non all’altezza delle aspettative che considerando il prezzo sono molto alte. Abbiamo fatto tutti e 4 il menù degustazione da 5 portate, ricordiamo purtroppo il tagliolino con fondo di triglia che è stato servito tiepido e incollato, la trota insipida e dura e poi per finire in bellezza ci viene comunicato prima dell’ultima portata che il dolce “lampone”(presente nel menù degustazione) non era disponibile. Valuteremo di tornare in presenza dello chef (fuori sede questa sera) sperando che tutti questi errori non siano normalità.

I recommend trying the authentic Italian cannoli, with their creamy filling and crunchy dough, as well as the delicious pistachio cookies, an irresistible option for lovers of this nut. A true pleasure for the palate!

25/12/2024: Felici di aver passato il pranzo Natalizio nella Tenuta Varocara, ci siamo sentiti a casa . Un’accoglienza calorosa, personale gentile e disponibile alle nostre richieste. Per non parlare del cibo , squisito e ben oltre le aspettative. Consigliamo vivamente di trascorrere qui dei pranzi o delle cene per assaporare dei cibi di qualità e sani , e degustare dei vini di propria produzione … Ritorneremo sicuramente!

09/12/2024: Cena e vino ottimi, bellissima atmosfera natalizia e Stefano, il proprietario, sempre accogliente e professionale Sono stata ospite per il mio compleanno ed eravamo circa una trentina di persone, lui e la moglie ci sono venuti incontro in tutte le nostre richieste… tutti pienamente soddisfatti!

10/02/2025: Siamo arrivati al locale con l'aiuto del navigatore non essendo della zona e siamo entrati dall'ingresso secondario, dovrebbero esserci indicazioni migliori. Appena entrati ho avuto l'impressione di "disturbare", non c'è stata un'accoglienza adeguata per quello che il ristorante vuole trasmettere. Il menù alla carta comprende piatti di mare e di terra. Ho trovato buone portate, ma con sapori non amalgamati, l'acidità del contorno copriva il sapore della carne. Sia l'antipasto che il secondo, senza contare il contorno erano ottimi... Buona la tarte tatin. Servizio buono, ma le posate tra una portata e l'altra si cambiano e non si devono togliere dal piatto dove le avevo lasciate, al limite si deve dire al cliente di toglierle... Conto giusto. Da un locale che ha la menzione sulla guida michelin, mi aspettavo di più!!!

08/02/2025: Ci siamo arrivati quasi per caso ed è stata un'esperienza eccezionale. Ottima atmosfera, locazione splendida ed immagino come possa essere d'estate e piatti buonissimi come la materia prima usata. E poi ottimo il pane e la focaccia e ci hanno coccolato con entree nn previste e dolcetti finali!

05/02/2025: Highly recommended "must-see". FABULOUS products based on excellent chocolate. Cafeteria and sales point for Venchi products. Possibility to consume at the table without additional costs. Coffee accompanied by a delicious chocolate. Very well made crepes. Super friendly and highly professional staff. Unique hospitality. There are no architectural barriers large free parking.

14/02/2025: Great prices but the rest is very disappointing!! Of the two courses we each had, the only one that is worth saving is the paniscia (luckily) but for the rest we are not there at all! The dishes listed on the menu do not correspond to those that arrive at the table, the variations are not reported but directly served and the waiting times are too long. Obviously all this was reported to the waiting staff but there were no major changes, in fact, given the sympathy that had by now been established, they thought it a good idea to serve the last arrivals first and us after!

11/02/2025: Excellent trattoria/restaurant where you can eat typical Novara dishes. The working lunch break is average in cost for other restaurants, the portions are generous and the dishes are excellent.

14/01/2025: Excellent food, very nice place, space beers, huge parking. Motorcyclists are very welcome, Graziano is an excellent host. Absolutely worth trying.

31/01/2025: Sono andato molte volte e mi sono trovato sempre bene. Consiglio vivamente di mangiare in questo ristorante che ha delle materie prime ottime e una pizza napoletana davvero gustosa! Camerieri gentili e veloci e sala elegante e storica pulita e ben curata.abbastanza vocio ma normale per un locale pieno. E spesso pieno e consiglio di prenotate un tavolo per assicurarvi in pranzo o una cena gustosa e a prezzi assolutamente accettabili! Complimenti al proprietario e tutto lo staff. Tornerò a Domodossola e verrò sicuramente a mangiare da voi!

26/01/2025: Premetto, in sintesi, che la pizzeria è un locale in linea, locale piacevole, con buone pizze e una buona cucina e, quindi, quando passo da Domo è un luogo che tengo in considerazione. Dal punto di visto tecnico le pizze sono buone, con cornicione, e ben condite e danno soddisfazione, la cucina è in linea con una pizzeria con porzioni, per quello scelto dai commensali, corrette. Sul servizio, essendo andato più volte nel locale, ho commenti positivi ma, quando il locale si riempie va un po' in difficoltà facendo errori banali, ma ci può stare. Sul locale, per me, ci sono alcuni appunti che permetterebbero il servizio, forse cercano di sfruttare troppo i tavoli, mettendo, come nel nostro caso, troppi posti rispetto alla grandezza del tavolo, creando qualche difficoltà a mangiare. Inoltre i tavoli sono troppo vicini, creando difficoltà di movimento e passaggio e, cosa grave, non viene segnalato il gradino all'entrata nel bagno, ne con segnaletica ne con fogli sulla porta. Risolto queste piccole criticità il locale è sarebbe meglio fruibile.
