16/07/2025: L' ho visitato tre volte a distanza di anni urge un restauro su tutto. Troppe portate, locale non accessibile a tutti, Il cibo è di bassa qualità. Si sta' ore e ore a mangiare, con uno spreco esagerato di cibo.

10/07/2025: Beautiful location on a hill with a breathtaking view. The rest of the property needs renovation, stuck in the 1980s.

10/07/2025: The Caffe itself looks very nice and authentic, but location is mediocre. Although it's in a very center location but the surroundings are uninsuring. The desserts taste good but seemed really overpriced

09/04/2025: Bellissima vista sul lago d'orta che si può ammirare anche dall'interno del locale. Piccolo, pochi coperti, ottimo servizio ai tavoli. Cibo di qualità e ben presentato. Consiglio la pasta fatta in casa con pesce di lago, ottima la carne cruda, ma anche la pasta ripiena di anatra. Dolci buoni. Vino con prezzi ragguardevoli. Vi è posto auto di fronte al locale che però non è facilmente notabile quando si passa sul lungolago. Comunque ottimo.

However: the seats outside were cheap and uncomfortable, the food was mediocre, too salt and without the Italian gusto one would expect. The waiter was good at his job, but resorted to theatrics and standard jokes. Too bad for he clearly did a good job. The wine too was good, but that is a bought item. All in all: only 2 stars.

06/05/2025: It's a shame that you can only put 5 stars otherwise I would put a constellation. We landed passing through a town called Scalenghe. My colleague saw that this place is the Juventus club of Scalenghe and he, who is a Juventus player, wanted to stop. We were hungry and didn't know any other places. Just like foreigners! We ate well served, with a table in view of the wood-fired oven, the pizza chef even made us laugh. He also made my wife a heart-shaped pizza. 2 medium cokes, 3 pizzas, a coffee and a delicious takeaway maxibon. When we pass through Scalenghe again we will stop again, net of the fact that it is improbable to pass through Scalenghe….

07/08/2025: Good, light pizza. The calamari and shrimp are definitely high-quality. The only problem, in my opinion, is the price: €17 for a pizza ordered and eaten at home. I'm posting a photo of the pizza to give you an idea of the quantity of calamari and shrimp. Again, the pizza is good, but €17 seems really high to me.
