27/07/2024: Ate outside, despite the weather (a few drops of rain), everything perfect, the canopy covers and the food is good

09/07/2024: We stayed in Porto Potenza Picena for a week and practically every evening we refueled at Sombrero. The variety of food is wide and it is all very good, from snails to mussels, from grilled meat to baked fish. Obviously the earlier you arrive the more choice there is. Fair prices and great service. It was also a pleasure to have a chat with the very kind owners. Top!

31/08/2024: Small trattoria in the heart of the city of Macerata, in the historic center. Better to book because they have few tables. The food here is really good. It was recommended to us by locals. We wanted to eat the famous typical dish Vincisgrassi, a delight. We also tried the gnocchi with duck sauce which were excellent. The two waiters serving the tables were very nice and we exchanged a few words with them. Really welcoming. We had a very good time. Highly recommended!

16/08/2024: Beautiful hotel within the Abbadia di Fiastra nature reserve. Wonderful location and super relaxing. Unfortunately we only stayed one night, but we still felt rejuvenated after a long journey. Restaurant with generous portions, very honest prices and excellent food. The external location is also beautiful with the lights that create a truly romantic atmosphere. Buffet breakfast with everything you need. I will definitely come back :)

27/08/2024: The restaurant has the staff and food you expect However, the place is not up to the splendid fireplace that welcomes you at the entrance! There is too much confusion inside and the lighting and layout of the room don't help. The fireplace and the entrance are beautiful but then that charm is lost in the rooms that are too cold and not very welcoming. It's certainly my personal taste but it wouldn't take much to replicate the atmosphere evoked by the brazier....

14/08/2024: We ate in this restaurant by chance, because it was the only one that had room at 1.40pm and was still available to welcome us, so we didn't have high expectations. In reality, I was very impressed by the fact that, as soon as I told the waiter that I was celiac, even though it wasn't listed on the menu, he told me that he had gluten-free pasta and that they could prepare it for me with the condiments from the standard menu. The dishes were good and the portions generous. The environment is a bit spartan, but for this very reason very welcoming and familiar, and, especially after a sweaty visit to the waterfalls, it doesn't make you feel uncomfortable. Very honest prices and I really appreciated that they didn't apply the surcharge to gluten-free pasta. Finally, the staff is very kind and approachable. Very recommended.

23/08/2024: Sono stato a cena alla Cantinella perchè ero in zona e me lo hanno consigliato. Devo dire: aspettative più che soddisfatte. Il borgo di Serrapetrona è uno spazio dove sembra di immergersi negli anni '50, e il ristorante si adegua allo stile. Piatti locali ma non solo, cortesia davvero insuperabile. I piatti non sono nè ricercati nè impiattati con particolare cura: si bada al sodo nel rispetto della tradizione. Si trova di tutto per tutti i gusti, con possibilità di farsi preparare qualche chicca se si prenota il giorno prima (vincisgrassi, zuppe...). Vi consiglio questo ristorante e a seguire una bella passeggiata nelle viuzze circostanti. Il prezzo? davvero basso, nonostante il tartufo utilizzato con generosità. Anche da questo punto di vista sembra di essere negli anni '50. Ultima cosa da segnalare: attenzione al cliente superlativa con una cortesia spontanea e sincera.

28/07/2024: I went to this place with my girlfriend because it was recommended to me. The owner and his staff were very welcoming and kind. The food was excellent but above all the wines... the thing that struck us was the explanation of each course and the excellent knowledge about wines.
