31/10/2025: Good food and a wide selection. It's perfect for those who want a seafood lunch without spending a fortune. The view is spectacular: the beach, the sea, the sun. Everything is perfect for bringing some peace to a troubled soul!
The place is elegant and the staff very friendly.
27/09/2025: I'm sorry to have to report a small mix-up. My wife was served the dish she ordered. I had ordered strozzapreti with scampi, but it never arrived!!! The order never reached the kitchen!!! Blame it on technology!!! I had to leave for the North so I left on an empty stomach. However, they were kind and after apologizing, they didn't charge me for my wife's drink. I was disappointed not to get the strozzapreti!!! But otherwise, they were great.

16/10/2025: A hidden gem, almost hidden if it weren't for the streetside porch... Worth a visit for the quality of the products: a nice selection of pastries, desserts, and cakes. I didn't try the pizza by the slice. Good coffee, generous cappuccino. Too bad I live far from Matelica, I'd go back often. Friendly and discreet service. Enjoy!

23/09/2025: ‼️An external ramp allows wheelchair access 🧑🦽. Inside, each room has a slightly different level, but I noticed that at the end of the main entrance corridor, blocked by a plant and a sofa, it would be possible to access the restrooms and then the main hall. I recommend installing small ramps to access all the different areas.
A charming and carefully designed place, with private spaces and even a cloister with a well where you can enjoy excellent, unique food made with top-quality ingredients. 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
The service is professional and welcoming. 🤩
I will definitely return and hope the owners take up the suggestion to remove architectural barriers.

The goose and tomatoes were excellent, as was the crescia handmade by the owner.
I highly recommend it for the quality and deliciousness of the food and the kindness of the staff.

I had the cappelletti with meat and Parmigiano Reggiano and really appreciated the quality.
Very good location. The staff and owners were very kind.
I think it's also suitable for less formal occasions. I agree with the other reviews about the price: it's around €20-30 per person.

08/10/2025: As a couple, we dined, slept, and had lunch at this beautiful hotel, whose entrance is already jaw-dropping with its waterfall.
Faustina welcomed us with three different trout carpaccios, each more delicious than the last. This was followed by a second course of tagliatelle with trout ragù and tagliolini with river shrimp, a dish that will leave you dreaming of it all night.
The chef's skill is truly respectful of the ingredients, yet manages to infuse flavor into each dish without ever upsetting the balance of flavors. Every dish we ate was the result of traditional recipes updated with so much skill. I'm attaching just one photo of the lunch because we instantly devoured the rest of the dishes due to their aromas and truly inviting appearance.
After such a meal and good wine, you can only sleep like babies in their spotlessly clean rooms.
Pictured are trout with figs and balsamic vinegar, and trout tartare with lemon oil (spectacular).
07/10/2025: I was in Sefro to hike, especially to see the grotto del beato Bernardo di Quintavalle, so the location was excellent for that. The food was great (I had two meals there, in part because it was so good, but also there were no other options as it was a Sunday in October). My room was a but cold, but there were big comfy blankets that kept me plenty warm in the night. It was incredibly quiet with just the sound of the river in the background, so it made for good sleep. I would stay again if I return to hike there.

28/09/2025: Donald Duck, a character named Paolino, dictates Journey to his cousin Lucaromano, who writes and publishes | Being dedicated to that activity defined by the now overused term of creativity can, in some cases—here I am—mean having significant mood swings. Adding to the mood swings caused by one's temper is being born in the month of July. Granted, I don't grant, I pay attention to the horoscope (I NEVER), I recognize that the descriptions of some character traits of those born in July paint a fairly accurate picture of the character of the person writing the note accompanying another dinner experience, a dinner under the influence of a person not exactly inclined to sociability. Another character trait of those born in July seems to be linked to the Earth's satellite called the Moon by astronomers. In other words, down-to-earth, moody. And that's not much tonight. Because there's also a marked sensitivity to moodiness, tending to get nervous when it rains. It pours. So the creative person is out of sorts. Fridge with vegetables. I don't even think about it. Pizza. Variation: with mushrooms. Margherita with mushrooms. Anticipation. Between one downpour and the next, I take possession of the position I always like everywhere. Out of the way. The ambient lights don't allow for any shadows. Otherwise, I would have snuggled in there. To observe. Orderly customers, relaxed atmosphere. Here there's no rudeness, no crowds, no noise, no that heavy dialect typical of Caput Mundi. Here there's gentlemanly respect. You greet everyone when you enter, regardless of who's in the place. You don't hear "the usual," a horrible habit of rude people who think they're at home just because they're customers.
Lost in thought, I browse through my photos on my phone, but my ears are alert, I'm quite irritated, and nothing escapes me: suddenly I hear the magic word for tonight.
"...hamburger."
Struck by lightning.
Go to hell with the Margherita with mushrooms.
I try: "Maybe I can change the reservation if it's not already being prepared?"
At least, there are people working here, and behind the arch behind the display counter, girls and boys are TROTTING.
They don't dry the rocks like they do on the Tyrrhenian Sea.
Very kind, Milena: "Yes, of course, it's not being prepared yet."
Wonderful.
Then, with that dazzling, intelligent smile, it lights up your evening.
I choose. The maxi burger, nine euros.
The ones from well-known American chains are a steal.
Sta_Amburger changed my mood this evening instantly, not only because of the kindness of everyone at Era Ora but also because it's really good. And I'm not writing this because I was hungry. It really is good. You can read how it's made in the other reviews from those who know more than me on the subject. And it makes me laugh. Or on Era Ora's profile under the specials on the menu.
I liked it, everything.
And I'm not just writing about hamburgers.

20/09/2025: eDDDDAIII! Finally, it's about time. A place where you can find the Lenten, the Sacred Maritozzo, in a savory version for a nice savory breakfast. Finally, really. I-I-came-from-Rome to find this delicacy that warmed up an already chilly September evening during an endless wandering & strolling IN Subaru in search of the impossible, the perfect photo. But I found the perfect maritozzo. And the fact that I happened to find it in the area where Sixtus V is apparently a celebrity could be significant in itself. Er Maritozzo here, in the city of Sixtus V, is perfect. I knew at first glance, when it was beautifully lined up with its little brothers on display, that it was a soft and fragrant dough that pampers with its soft flavor the taste hungry for good flavors. Hungry gestures as soon as it was "in house" and off we go, snuffed out the first two in "sweet" version. Then the assault on the savory breakfast maritozzo, just after two ritual clicks, not for these notes but for something else. A disarming simplicity that fills you with joy and makes you forget the venial capital sin of gluttony. And what the heck, do you think that I, so at home within the Leonine Walls, in the city of Sixtus V, wouldn't commit the sin of gluttony? You decide.

09/11/2025: I came here with my dad. We ordered two pizzas, the Diavolik and the Sorrento. They were truly delicious and light (word from a pizza chef and someone who usually never finishes her pizzas). The staff were incredibly kind and welcoming, perfectly fitting into the place, which has a homey feel and is very well decorated, although unfortunately we had to wait a bit for the pizzas (considering that the place was full). In total, the two of us spent about €30 (drinks and desserts included), which is a very fair price for the quality. Everything was beautiful and delicious! I highly recommend it.

20/08/2025: I attended a dinner event with live music. The evening was held outdoors, and I must say the location itself had an incredible atmosphere. A large, well-kept park full of trees, with an incredible view, right next to this "castle for ceremonies." Besides the very evocative location, the event was organized down to the smallest detail. The dinner was buffet-style, with areas for cold cuts, cheeses, and fried foods, along with gratinated and grilled vegetables and a station where both meat and fish were grilled on the spot (the grilled tentacle was top notch!). The music accompanied us throughout the dinner and kept us moving and having fun afterward. Furthermore, the staff was impeccable, always smiling and present. Finally, I took the opportunity to go inside and see the interior, which is very beautiful and well-kept, in an Art Nouveau style, I think. I will definitely be back!
