We dined and stayed at the property. Both the accommodation and the surrounding environment truly seem to have stood still in time. Everything is old and nostalgic, welcoming and respectful of years gone by. The restaurant lives up to its name. Rustic, welcoming, and intimate enough for an evening with friends or as a couple. You're surrounded by bottles of wine and antiques, and the service is courteous and friendly, flawless. The menu isn't extensive, but the dishes are truly meticulously prepared. We opted for the tagliata (a sliced ​​steak) and a cockerel, along with two glasses of wine, and finished with a panna cotta. Everything was delicious. The clientele is quite high-class, which suggests this is a gem that locals reserve for special occasions. Breakfast is plentiful, with the option of a savory option (those scrambled eggs were excellent), and you can enjoy a truly charming dining room. The only flaw is the dinner for the cockerel; they should write that it's half a cockerel, not a whole one. Otherwise, everything was perfect.

Definitely a beautiful and truly romantic location for those who enjoy admiring the sunset and the surrounding hills. The restaurant is packed and the staff are welcoming. It's a shame about the long waits. Definitely worth a try.

What a wonderful discovery! Lu Focaro is a restaurant with an intimate, refined, and truly original atmosphere. We had a quick dinner as a couple but were extremely satisfied: the fillet was incredibly tender and delicious. We were struck by the authenticity of the dishes—everything was genuine and carefully prepared—and the owner's kindness made the experience even more enjoyable. We'll definitely be back to try other items on the menu.

Lo Fucaro restaurant is located in Torre di Palme and is a small, authentic gem. The restaurant has a warm and peaceful atmosphere, with a fireplace and tastefully curated period décor. For dinner, we enjoyed the famous cappelletti in brodo (a type of pasta) served in an antique teapot, truly flavorful. The wine was excellent. Patrizia's service was truly pleasant and entertaining. We'll definitely return in the summer to enjoy the beautiful view.

16/03/2026: A colleague and I went there yesterday, March 15, 2026, after serving at the Lonate Ceppino cycling race. From the local road, it's not very noticeable, and you might mistake it for one of the many takeout pizzerias... let's say a little anonymous, but since it's a "village" place, that's fine. Once you cross the threshold, you discover that it's not what it appears to be, but beyond the ordering counter, there's a comfortable and spacious pizzeria dining room. Not too many seats, but just enough to create a nice atmosphere that leaves you space. In short, you don't find yourself jostling with the diners at the table next to you... which, in my opinion, is truly a nice and worthy thing. Now let's get to the crux of the review: Cleanliness of the place: Perfect Staff: Courteous and attentive. Cleanliness of the restrooms (WC): VERY CLEAN, well-kept, tidy, and no unpleasant odors... WELL DONE!!! Menu: Many pizzas to choose from, some of which are noteworthy. Prices: More than fair. We ordered two "BOMBAs"... the menu features a lot of ingredients, so we wanted to test the veracity of the claims. TEST PASSED WITHOUT FULLY. Delicious pizza, perfectly cooked, not burned, not greasy, EASY TO DIGEST, beyond all expectations... sausage, peppers, onion, Zola, and spicy salami, along with so much more, made one think it would be a difficult after-lunch experience, but not so. Everything was perfect. The price of the "Bomba" is €11 and it's truly worth it. We had a truly wonderful time. In total, for two, with two Bombas, one water, one 66cl beer, and two coffees, €32.00 = If you happen to be in the area and don't know where to stop for refreshments, I highly recommend this "timid" pizzeria. Don't be fooled by the outside view; the best and the best awaits you as soon as you cross the threshold. At least, that's been my experience.

25/04/2026: We visited this restaurant with fairly high expectations, which, unfortunately, were only partially met. The experience began well with the cold appetizers, served quickly and pleasantly. However, from that point on, the service slowed significantly: the first courses arrived after about an hour and a half, a decidedly excessive wait considering we had already started eating. It must be said that the service staff was always courteous and helpful: they apologized several times for the delay, as did the owner, showing attentiveness to the customer and trying to manage the situation as best as possible. Unfortunately, the main course we were looking forward to disappointed us: the saffron ravioli were completely flavorless. The pasta and filling were bland and immersed in a very thin cream, probably made with cream, which also lacked any flavor. A dish that, in concept, could have been interesting, but which, in execution, was poorly executed. We appreciate the owner's final gesture, offering a discount on the bill to apologize for the inconvenience, but we're still a bit disappointed by an experience that could have been much better. Overall, a place with potential for a view, thanks to its central location, and with a discernible level of customer service, but there's significant room for improvement, especially in terms of service times and attention to detail.
